We very much enjoyed our stay at this home. We travelled to the area to enjoy our kid’s fall break. We enjoyed the area and found the home to be conveniently located, clean and comfortable. I did find it unusual that there was no communication with the host, but none was needed so didn’t bother me. The one thing that I thought could have been better was that there is no latch inside the door keeping a curious toddler from exiting the home. It made me really nervous at night. There did seem to be an alarm on the door that was installed but it wasn’t working during our visit. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

This is an awesome location close to town, with a nice view of mountain in back. The neighbors are distant enough, that it feels private. The back yard is the best for hot tub and fire hangouts. The house is old and layed out weird, but you get past it with the super nice remodel. All the amenities you could need as well as the most comfortable beds! Highly recommended and would revisit.

Beautifully decorated and stocked home, with a big backyard to spread out and lots of sitting area to socialize. What you can't tell from the pictures is that all of the bedrooms and rooms are connected, which is very fun, but just hope you're not shy around the group you're traveling with :)

We had a wonderful experience at the Brownings cottage! The hot tub was perfect for our night in and the kitchen was well stocked for our taco night! The location was a tad hard to find but Lisa was quickly responsive and got us to the house with no problems! The beds were super comfy and the whole place was clean. Thanks for a great weekend! My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Reeves Cove Cottage! The home was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was amazing! The hot tub was a plus! Definitely recommend staying at Reeves Cove Cottage when you’re in Asheville!

My gf’s and I staid here for a concert and weekend away. The views were amazing the cottage was great! We didn’t want to leave.

The property was great and convenient to downtown. Our family of six adults were able to stay comfortably. Owners were quick to respond to communication. All the amenities were great as our family enjoyed using the screen porch, hot tub, and fire pit!

We had a fabulous stay with our 2 families and 2 dogs. The place was so spacious and beautifully decorated, we especially loved the hot tub and the screened in porch. Close to all of the fun things Asheville has to offer, highly recommended we would absolutely stay here again!

My family and I had a short trip and stayed here. We absolutely loved it and felt right at home. My kids didn’t want to leave and asked if we could stay longer. The hot tub was an awesome perk. It was lovely and we would definitely stay here again if we visit Asheville! Lisa is a lovely host and very easy to communicate with

The house has full amenities. Lisa is very quick to respond to any questions and requests. Snowed decently and it’s a great yard with a nice slope for sledding!

I went in this trip with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend. The house was nice and spacious with three bedrooms. The bedroom all connect and one room has to share a bathroom with another. There is also a room off the screened in porch but it is very cold in there and it is heated with electrical heater unit. The kitchen is the best part of the house and very nice. I prefer to eat out most of the time and cook very little sine I’m on vacation. Overall the house is nice but could use some more updating. The couch is not comfortable except on one side of the couch and the other side sags in like it is broken. Your neighbors are really close. I did enjoy our stay and neighbors are quite and did not bother me at all.

This home is in a perfect location to everything. The home was cozy and well stocked! We had a weekend getaway to safely social distant during this wild time and had a blast. Hot tub, fire pit, & cozy beds made for a great weekend. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay during our short visit to Candler.

We came for a bachelorette trip (8 of us) and it was great. Cute house, hot tub was amazing, the only downfall is that we couldn’t get the pull out couch to open up all the way so one girl had to sleep on the couch.

This property was a 15/20 minute drive from downtown Asheville, so that was nice for our group after a long day at Biltmore. There is also an Ingles about 10 minutes from the house. GPS led us most of the way there but we had trouble finding the driveway, off the main road name in the dark. The house is decorated in a very cute fashion just like the pictures show. The house does show its age more than the pictures suggest. We had room for our family of 6 to sit down and watch a movie before bed. Something tricky for us was that the bathrooms were attached and had access to all bedrooms but the bathroom doors couldn’t lock. The kitchen was spacious and gorgeous and nice for us to cook breakfast in the morning. The bedrooms were nice with lamps and cute bedding, dresser if you plan to stay a while. The porch daybed was not suitable for an adult to sleep on, probably okay for a child. We appreciated the nice touches such as games, Roku tv, snacks, water bottles. There are a few neighbors close by so there is not a ton of privacy but that was not a problem for us. The owner has down a nice job making this a cozy, homey space.

Our group of 6 spent the night in Candler... very convenient to Asheville, very accommodating to our 3 couples, having the space for all of us to “chill” ... sleep late and enjoy the morning.... a great escape and opportunity for all to spend some time together on a very relaxed environment~ thanks and really appreciate the Christmas tree!

It is a lovely house and great for a family get together. There was 7 of us and we had plenty of room. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was pretty chilly so the hot tub felt great!

The home was lovely! The hot tub was perfect. Quiet neighborhood in the mountains. We had an awesome time.

Cottage is modern rustic. Older home with modern farmhouse decorating. Appliances are all high quality. Easy 15 minutes to downtown Asheville.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at this property. We loved the farmhouse feel of the house, especially the screened-in porch.

Cute older farmhouse style home with some updates. Floors creak and doors squeak but we enjoyed the added quaintness to the home. It does need a little extra dusting here and there and the hot tub needed a good cleaning but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. One thing we did have an issue with was the TV connection (Roku) and the fireplace did not work if the TV was on as well...it kept shorting out both since they are on same outlet. So we didn't get to use the cute fireplace. Great location, very accessible to town and surrounding grocery store and hiking areas.

This was the perfect place for our girls getaway with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Beds were comfy & hot tub was perfect temp. Super cute and in the country but still only about 15 mins from downtown Asheville. No issues; we really enjoyed our stay. I'd love to go back again sometime.

Close to Asheville, and accommodated all of us nicely! Lots of space and the owner really made it cute and cozy! The only downside of the trip was the hot tub never heated up. The owner let us know that the prior guests left uncovered and it would take a while to heat up. We were there for two nights and it unfortunately never got warm enough to enjoy. Some of us braved it anyway! Great house, very accommodating, would stay again!

This 3-bedroom cottage is very appealing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need and more. The bathroom showers had good flow, but one of the showers had slow drainage. The house had multiple places for guests to spend time together - the dining room, the living room with its L-shaped sofa, the cute screened-in porch, fire pit, as well as hot tub - which were much appreciated. Our family enjoyed the selection of games, esp. “Apples to Apples”. The furniture was solid & comfortable. Just two suggestions - 1) more indiividual lighting would be good in the living room, the bedrooms, and the closed-in porch, 2) more towel bars for drying guests’ towels. Overall, really a 4.5 star review for this cozy cottage in the countryside of the Asheville area.

Home was just as described. Great patios and beautiful views. Slept 7 of us very comfortably.

We were very excited as the pictures looked so cute and quaint, but upon arrival were disappointed on the state of the house. The kitchen has been updated but the rest looks like a diy project half way finished with holes in walls etc. Food was still in the fridge and cupboards which was really gross as I don’t want to use other people’s half used items, the showers had long black hairs that we had to clean before use and the hot tub was green. The owner Lisa was great in trying to fix the hot tub but it never was warm enough for us to use. We also had a horrible time with the tv in the living area. It tv kept buffering and would not work. So we couldn’t relax in the hot tub and had very little to no tv which made entertaining our family difficult to say the least. On our last night we had a visit from a mouse as well. That’s when we knew it was time to go. I would pay a little more and stay somewhere nicer.

We are so happy we chose this property for 5 adults to visit Asheville! While the outside could use a little loving care, the inside is just beautiful and all redone. The beds were all very comfortable, plenty of towels, blankets and sheets. Fully stocked gorgeous kitchen, although we didn’t cook since there are so many great restaurants nearby. The surroundings are beautiful and soooo quiet. The hot tub was such a pleasure to have at night after long days of walking around Asheville! Highly recommendable property!
