the staff is great, people so nice and always helping. the place is quiet and so near to the center to go walking.

I like how near it is to everywhere, including the supermarkets and cafes as well as the shops. They are just abt 5 - 15 mins walking distance away.

I think it’s a recurring problem in Bali, there’s many bugs and insects. Just to have make sure the doors are closed if you don’t want any insects flying in.

Liyer Spirit House has changed compared from 7 years ago that we visited last. It was evident, the conditions has changed due to Pandemic. Nonetheless, the vibe is still good, the staff were very kind and willing to re-start again. I would say, it is a very good value for money. The location is great, very quiet and calm area, we stay at the top floor and the view was very pleasant. Overall is a very good deal and we enjoyed our stay.

Maybe a bit more detail in the bathroom maintenance would be great.

the generosity and kindness of the staff is very special. they helped me in many ways and always in a light and pleasant way. I felt very well taken care of.

The owners and staff were wonderful. The staff did not speak English which made communication difficult.

The mattresses but all mattresses are just too firm. Very damaging to my back!

The bed was very comfortable. The property is very quiet. The grounds are beautiful. The pool was lovely. It was a bit out of town which was ok. Breakfast was lovely.

The rooms were a great size but there was a bit of mold on the walls that had been clearly covered up with more wallpaper. The tub was a bit grimy. They need new towels. Many of them were stained and nobody wants to dry off with stained towels.

This is a brilliant little find and would highly recommend. As it was low season we were the only guests, no complaints there. Room was big, comfy, clean and more than adequate with a bath and shower. The pool was amazing! Staff were very attentive and nothing was a problem. For breakfast you get a fruit a salad and the choice of a cooked meal, along with tea/coffee. Not the biggest portions but still good. In high season they have do lunch & dinner but... ...about 5 min walk gets you onto the main road with restaurants and bars, 10-15 min and you will be within reach of the Monkey Sanctuary and more restaurants, shops etc. You are spoilt for choice! We rented a scooter from Liyer Spirit House for the equivalent of about £3 a day and you can book other excursions through the front desk if required. The day we left our taxi was quite early so they happily packed our breakfast into a takeaway box and gave us cutlery. Fantastic service. We would highly recommend this accommodation option for Ubud. Dont be put off by the "walking distance to Ubud" because its packed with restaurants, bars, spas and more along the way and a great selection of places to visit.

Food is great. Location was also good to. Relatively near the other spots we went to. The staff are all nice, even accommodated to have breakfasts served earlier than their schedule. The pool is nice too.

The restaurant is only open during breakfast hours. The roads near the hotel did not have street lights on. Around 1am during our 2nd day I tried to go out to get food but there were very few street lights so I did not have the enough courage to go out. There were frogs (I'm sorry I really do not like them, but it's just me),
