We have just returned from a wonderful week at Villa Beamer, the owner Liz was extremely helpful and fast in communicating when we wanted to book the villa very last minute. Terry the manager who met us on arrival with the keys was also very helpful and accommodating. We have been staying at the resort for over 18 years now and Villa Beamer is the nicest villa we have stayed in with one of the best positions on the resort. The children all had a wonderful time playing in the pool and the slide was a big hit. The owners have significantly enhanced the property with new bathrooms throughout and artificial grass in the garden which was lovely underfoot and a massive improvement on the usual grass. The villa itself was equipped with everything you need and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be returning again in the future.

Amazing home to stay with family or friends. Great accommodation; spacious house with properly working facilities and loads of things readily available (towels, dish soaps, pool floats, etc.) Friendly host too!

La estancia en si fue perfecta. La casa está muy muy bien para un grupo de 8 personas. Las fotos reflejan lo que hay tal cual. La dueña de la casa añade gastos por servicios "extra". Algunos estás obligados a pagarlos, y otros no. Al precio inicial hay que sumarle 150€ de limpieza, y además una tarifa de 20€ por la entrega de llaves. Si quieres aire acondicionado o calefacción en la piscina tienes que pagar el servicio. Teniendo este gasto extra añadido directamente al precio de la reserva seguiría dejando un precio bastante competitivo para todo lo que ofrece la casa, así que dividir el precio final en cuotas menos directas deja un mal sabor de boca, incluso si estoy contento con el precio final. En cuanto a todo lo demás, estoy bastante contento y volvería a repetir, un servicio atento y profesional.

The communications were quick, friendly and professional. The whole booking process very easy and Liz was a great help when I had questions. The villa was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Just a short walk to bars, restaurants etc. We enjoyed our time and would recommend the property further. Thanks Liz

Stayed as 2 families 6 adults in all. Plenty of space to escape with terraces & outside areas. Bathrooms were good sizes and a nice sized kitchen & lounge. Pool was fab with a proper deep end making use of the slide safe. Outside store for golf clubs so they didn’t clutter the space up. Walkable to golf, restaurants, bars, shop & sports facilities. Only 10 minutes in a cab to Los Alcarezes where the beach & restaurants are lovely. Would thoroughly recommend and if you can get a good rate on car hire it pays to do this as taxi return to new airport will be around €80 so may as well put it towards your car hire. All in all we will return to the area & would definitely return to this property.

A family of three generations, we're just home after nine glorious days stay at this lovely villa. We found it to be exactly as described. Perfectly positioned for the men, who golfed on some of the days and close to many beaches. The children adored the pool and enjoyed the playground just a short walk away. Big supermarkets are a short drive away but having the Spar on site was a bonus. All in all, perfect!

Large villa with all we needed, good base for travel to various courses. Having the pool heated was a worthwhile added expense as the ladies were never out of it. All in all a great week.

There were 6 of us and we loved it. It was clean and very spacious. The facilities were excellent and everything we needed was there. The swimming pool is adequate size for a quick dip to cool off. I would highly recommend this property for a family holiday.

We have just returned from staying at Villa Beamer and we had a lovely time. The villa is beautiful and perfect for families, it is in a great location and 10 minutes from the airport and local beach. Liz was very friendly & helpful, would definitely like to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at Villa Beamer. It is in a fabulous location on the resort; quiet and with great views over the 5th hole of the golf course. The villa is very well equipped with everything we needed – a real home from home. Our 2 teenagers and their friends really enjoyed playing in the pool. The option to have it heated was a real bonus at this time of year. There is space on the lawn, around the pool and on the first floor sun terrace to sunbathe, as well as plenty of shaded area on the ground floor terrace for dining or relaxing with a book. Being a security-gated resort we felt quite happy to let our teenagers take themselves off around the resort, whether that be to the hotel or golf range (5 mins walk), Spar supermarket or padel courts (10 mins walk). The 4 padel racquets in the villa were very much appreciated and put to good use during our stay. Our boys were frequent visitors to the driving range and they also went out for a round of golf towards the end of our stay. Villa Beamer was a really comfortable base for us relax in and explore the local area. Cartegena (20 mins drive), Los Alcazares beach (10 mins drive), Mar Menor Go-Karting (10 mins drive, beside the airport) and quad biking or horse riding around Embalse de la Pedrera near Orihuela (40 mins drive) were firm favourites with our family group. From the moment we made enquiries about staying at Villa Beamer, homeowner Liz was quick to reply and we had good communication throughout the booking process with both her and key holder Terry. Having Terry across the road for her friendly meet and greet and help with any queries we had was most helpful. This was our second visit to Mar Menor Golf Resort and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Beamer to others. We hope very much to return there ourselves in the not too distant future.

Really nicely decorated and clean. Lovely pool and Terry was brilliant and friendly. We were 2 families and loved it. Though we went through quite a bit of air con so I would use more sparing next time. Thank you for the great communication and a lovely holiday x

This is a great villa, everything you need in one place regardless of age. We were an extended family aged 10 to 60 and we all had a fantastic time and all want to go straight back

From the fantastic view of the amazing golf corse to the fun size pool and shoot, this villa is family friendly and brilliant location that's not to far for the local shop as a family holiday it was ideal we will be returning, thanks again :))

Spent 6 nights at Villa Beamer with 3 mates on a golf trip....we were not disappointed. The villa was perfect as a base for our visit. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and everything you would need fur your stay. Terry and Phil (key holders) sorted us out with our shopping list, so the fridge was full when we arrived. Had a great 10 days in Villa Beamer Had everything we needed and help across the road if we didn't Very comfy beds and air con if we needed it, which we did a bit Great view onto the golf course, not all the villas have this Great communication before and after Didn't have to clean or get ripped off with a big bill for cleaning at the end like some people charge Nice town nearby for shopping and beach Lovely area, our second time at this resort 8 of us all together and plenty of space thanks Liz

From the moment Terry (lovely and helpful lady, lives opposite), the villa manager turned the key in the door, we could sense we were going to have a great holiday.The hallway was large and inviting and it led into a bright and airy living room with modern decor. We couldn`t wait to raise the electric shutters which led to the pool/garden area where we were going to spend a lot of happy hours for the next 10 days. We discovered a nice family sized pool,not too deep, a number of comfortable sun beds and enough seating for a dozen people on the nicely shaded patio where many a cold beer was taken! The villa backed on to the 5th hole of the golf course and was an utter sun trap til after 9 pm in the evening. The 4 bedrooms were of a nice size with plenty of storage space and the 3 bath/shower rooms seen plenty of use.The view from the balcony extending from the 1stfloor master bedroom was spectacular. The 2 grandchildren in the family aged 5 and 7 spent endless hours in the pool playing with the toys provided as did we all even the eldest 57 year old child! The board games provided and Netflix on the tv kept the little ones fully occupied. The kitchen was well laid out, had all the neccessary cutlery and utensils, large fridge-freezer and the much needed dishwasher.The washing machine with all other cleaning materials was in a seperate utility room at the back door. The resort itself is clean, quiet and relaxing.There is a mini-market on site which sells almost anything you might need and the hotel bar, the Clover serves a nice pint! Just outside the resort The Shamrock lounge and Route 66 are more than worth a visit. We visited a couple of nice restaurants in nearby Los Alcarzares and had a good evening one Sunday in Campbells bar in a nearby village called Roda. W e went in for a bite to eat and to have a drink and were persuaded by a nice gentleman to join their regular Sunday evening quiz...we were mortified when we won 1st prize!! The Mar Menor Golf resort is only a 10/15 drive from the airport and in reality there would be little reason to leave the resort during a vacation but we hired a car and were able to visit Cartagena (about 40 mins), a couple of very good local markets and golf courses in the area and different restaurants in nearby towns. All in all we had a wonderful holiday in a wonderful villa and given the right opportunity would return in a heart beat...(in fact would have stayed there!) Thinking of going? Get it booked!

It was a great start arriving at Murcia airport - a lovely, small, friendly & very efficient airport and only a 10-minute drive from your villa - a welcome bonus indeed. What wonderful accommodation Beamer provides - spacious, modern, comfortable in all respects and very clean with all the facilities we could want or need, and that's just inside. We think the villa is in a great position on the resort with enjoyable views over the 5th fairway - amusing times watching some players struggle with the water obstacle! - and when we were fed up watching we could plunge into the pool, relax in the chill-out area or just sunbathe on the recliners - we did all of them!! The Mar Menor Resort itself is large but well set out and is self-sufficient in so many ways including great eateries (only had enough time to trial the club bar & the hotel restaurant), various leisure/activity options (exc the golf) and a very useful on-site shop (partic welcome when we arrived not to mention the early daily walks to get our fresh breakfasts). It was re-assuring to stay so early in the season and see all the hard work put in by the landscapers & horticulturalists in getting the resort into such great shape, we were partic impressed by the topiary work and the obvious pride that it displayed. It provided a great insight into how well the Resort is run In reality we did not need to leave the Resort but we did. We found/saw numerous restaurant options covering virtually any level of budget. Our favourite was La Tropical in Los Alcazares with Triana a close second. We travelled down to the strip at La Manga - seasonally quiet at the moment of course but I'm sure it will be buzzing come July/August - and enjoyed a really tasty tapas lunch at Restaurant 1975, a stylish beachside joint at the northern end of the strip. As you might guess from the above we were pretty impressed and found it hard to think of any meaningful criticism and so we won't bother to try. We'll just remember it as a lovely holiday & look fwd to perhaps visiting again. Thanks ever so much for all your hard work in making it happen

Our stay was last summer, when we booked Villa Beamer for the month of August. This was a real treat for us to be away for such a long holiday and we looked at lots of places to stay, trying to make sure we booked the best place we could. We were over the moon with the villa. Fantastic location, excellent facilities and spacious rooms. Everything you could want, a luxury home. The private pool was one of the main features for us when booking. It was fantastic, evidenced by the fact the kids were never out of it! In the resort of Mar Menor there are bars and good restaurants within short walking distance. A five minute car drive to Los Alcazares, and you are in what we would class as "unspoilt traditional Spain" where you can find everything from tapas at beach bars to top quality Spanish restaurants is available. I think the best way to sum up how good the property and holiday was, is the fact that we have booked for a month again this summer. Cant wait!! :-) Highly recommended.

This was the first time we had visited this area in Spain and fell in love with the 'real spain', the Golf resort itself is maintained to a very high standard giving it that quality feel. The villa had everything we wanted and all brand new and very tastefully decorated. All the rooms were large and well equipped. A lovely big kitchen area but we mainly ate outside as the views were great over the golf course and it was still lovely and hot in the evenings for BBQ's and chilling by the pool. The local beach at Los Alcazares is very safe with its warm shallow sea and some great Tapas bars all along. We ate in a few restaurants on the resort and had lovely meals but adviseable to book at weekends. Trianas on the boullavard was our favourite (make sure you get the English speaking waiter as they can recommend local dishes). A lovely week but it wasn't long enough - would definately recommend this area of Spain rather than up the coast. Thank you to the family who gave us great communication before our visit and the manager who looked after us there.

The villa is superb, it had everything we needed for our stay from the washing machine to a dishwasher to English TV! (although we hardly watched it)All the rooms are large and the beds confortable and bedding and all towels are included in the rental. We loved the heated pool and all the pool inflatables provided! A lovely relaxing eating and chill out sofa area outside. The restaurants on the resort are all very good, something for everyone, from Spanish, Italian, Al la Carte, Japanese, Indian and an American diner. The local town of Los Alcazares and its beaches are lovely and worth a visit. - just loved it all, can not fault this place. Hope to return next year.

Villa had everything you could possibly want. The pool was enjoyed most of all by our 8 year old, especially the slide. There always seemed to be a breeze in the outside area which would be very welcome in the hot summer months but it would benefit from a wind-break for the cooler months as getting out of the pool was bracing and sitting outside to eat was a bit of a struggle at times. Lots of hot water for showers and plenty of space in the villa for the whole family. Beds quite comfortable although the double bed in the master room was very noisy when you turned over and the same with the springs in the downstairs room. Excellent positionwithin the resort within walking distance of everything and watching the golfers from the garden and the balcony was extremely entertaining! Lovely area to explore 'real Spain' and the locals are very friendly - all the menus of the day are extremely good value but we did tend to eat in using the bbq daily. We all had a lovely time and the villa was a great base - my daughter didn't want to go out at all!!!! We would definitely consider returning to the area and to this villa.
