Loved the pool area with the hot tub. Loved the pier with the benches to sit on and watch the water while eating lunch. The bed was so very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped even though I didn't cook, but could have. It smelled very clean each time I walked in & the people that stayed around me were very pleasant.

The toilets are VERY LOW to the floor. The trash bags are cheap and don't hold up. I stayed in Cottage 2 with no real walkway to the parking lot. It rained the night I arrived so the mud was a mess. The staff in the office were not really friendly and seemed to be bothered both times I went in there. The refrigerator had a terrible odor. At the prices they charge it really needs to be updated.

The parking for small vehicles can fit fine, but we have a truck which made parking a little difficult for us aside from that it was a great stay.

First time there and would book again at this place. My family and I enjoyed it very much. My son enjoyed the walking distance to private pier so he can fish. Definitely would come back but with more room.

The property is convenient to Rockport; it is just outside the city limits of Fulton and is a quick drive to any of the local sights and activities.

On the night of our arrival, the property lost power in a weather-related incident. The property is unattended, so there was no way to contact anyone other than by using the Booking message feature. We waited for some time to see if the power would be restored, but there was no progress. Oddly enough, the property had a generator running that powered the swimming pool and hot tub. Nothing else worked, though. We had to check into another hotel. I later contacted the electric company and they advised that the power was restored just after midnight; we would not have been able to wait that long. I understand that these things happen, but the property was absolutely unwilling to issue a refund for one day of our stay. The property is old, and it smells old when you enter the rooms. The carpet had not been cleaned for some time and there was a great deal of dirt and debris present. The bathroom had a sewage/septic tank odor for the entirety of our stay. Part of this could have been related to the first night I took a shower. I turned on the shower to let the water heat up and stepped out of the bathroom. When I returned, the entire room was flooded because the shower drain was clogged with an unspeakable filth. Luckily there was a plunger in the room, so I worked on the drain for ten minutes and got it to clear. The smell never dissipated, though. There is no housekeeping, you must strip your own beds and collect dirty linens, and they do not provide amenities such as toilet paper because they are now an AirBNB. There is no mention of this on the Booking site. The final night we were at the property there was no hot water. I should mention that I used the Booking message feature to notify the property of all of these problems--again, outside of normal business hours there is nobody there--but they did not respond until after I had checked out of the property. Do yourself a favor; choose a different property in Rockport. There are plenty of others available.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Had a great pool and hot tub .

You had to strip your own bed and put the sheets and towels in a laundry bag. You also had to take the trash out . No ice machine. Coffee maker in the room but no coffee. This resort does not offer breakfast.

This is not the first time we’ve stayed there, we like the location.

There were some changes I overlooked when we booked the stay, the wording in the folder in the room was not what the staff informed me of.

we found roaches in the kitchen, I told the front desk, and she says that they were tree roaches, and that pest control constantly comes out. But that didn’t help me feel better at all another thing we do not like about the property he is having to pay before we get there, we like paying on the day we get there instead of online paying upfront
