Our stay was from June 9-15, 2022. During this time there was construction in the streets all around the building which made it very noisy from early morning til at least 5:00pm. There is also a lot of night traffic and it’s extremely noisy until around 2:00am. Therefore, a quiet, peaceful night was impossible, especially since we had to leave the windows open 24/7. It was also very unusually hot while we were there and there were only 3 small fans, which made for difficulty in sleeping. There needs to be larger stand fans in each room, including the living room, as there is no AC in this beautiful older building. There should be a face to face meeting with someone from the property management office to go over aspects of the apartment. Example - we had no idea how to use the washer/dryer combo as the instructions weren’t very clear and we never could figure it out. There were some cosmetic things that need to be fixed or taken care of, which I explained to the mgr over the phone. All in all we enjoyed our stay but unanimously decided that if we were to return, it would be after the construction is finished (expected by late fall, 2022) and either in the spring or fall when it’s cooler weather.

First of all, Valerie was a great host and communication with her was always easy and straightforward. The apartment was probably even more spacious than we expected, being very well located in Nice. Although it did not have A/C, the provided fans proved to be adequate for a July vacation. The furniture and decor were a bit too vintage, and unfortunately there were some difficulties with the water drainage that took a full 24 hours to be fixed. Thankfully, Valerie managed to locate us in a second apartment for that night in order to be able to take showers, sleep, etc. We also rented a car for a few days and while the parking situation is quite difficult on the streets around the building, there is a public car park near Palais Massena (250m from the apartment) for about 20€ per overnight stay. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay there.

This apartment offers three big Bedrooms 2 1/2 bath. Master suite with tub toilet and sink en suite totally separate from other two bedrooms with toilet. Kitchen well equipped for our chef to make dinner's each night. Organic market around the corner. Snd 1 1/2 blocks to the beach. I will definitely stay there next time in nice.one floor up is great with sn elevator to boot.

Lovely property, very traditional. Well equipped. The neighbourhood is quite noisy with traffic. It’s a good location and there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

If you are looking for a wonderful location with easy access to the beaches of the Mediterranean and an easy walk to Old Nice for a great dinner or some shopping, this is the perfect location for you! It's extremely clean, well appointed, has all the modern amenities you could want combined with the old class charm of a French villa. Be to the beach in 5 minutes, be to Old Town Nice in 15 minutes, grab some wine and cheese at the market in 5 minutes and even walk to the main train station in less than 25 minutes. The property manager, Valerie, is a true gem and so easy to work and communicate with. She is professional, courteous, and does a tremendous job of acclimating you to the apartment and Nice itself. Our next trip to Nice will not be taken unless this gem of an apartment is available to stay. We loved it and so did our kids. Thanks so much!

Excellent location to the beach. Short walk to "old Nice". Using Uber the apt is 1 block from the Negresco Hotel...Would definitely stay at this property again! B Coble North Carolina

What a wonderful home! Our entire experience was absolutely lovely. This home is so clean and neat and beautifully furnished. Steps away from the Promenade de anglais afforded us access to all that Niece has to offer without having to take any form of transportation. If you are looking for the perfect place to enjoy Niece, this is it!!!!

The building was lovely, and the apartment was generous in size for six adults. The neighborhood was great and very accessible to restaurants and sites. It was overall a Great location. The kitchen and bathrooms were adequate. The living room furniture is in need of replacing, the Beds were uncomfortable, pillows are flat and we could have used more towels. While we did enjoy our stay and appreciated the location some of the amenities were less than adequate.

The apartment is gorgeous, large, clean, well appointed. Unfortunately we had some outside noise issues, that were a bit bothersome but overall a great vacation.

Thoroughly enjoyed the property. Really great location, and close to all you need in Nice.

We spent the month of March in this fabulous apartment. The apartment is well equipped. Everything you need to cook your meals is there. The apartment is extremely spacious and comfortable. It is perfectly located, near les Promenades des Anglais, food stores, many restaurants and an easy short walk to Old Nice. We highly recommend this magnificent Belle Époque apartment. Valerie, who greeted us, was charming and helpful. As well, she made herself available should we have any questions or concerns during or stay. Mary the owner replied quickly and was also very helpful with all my questions. Do no miss the opportunity to stay in this amazing apartment. It will make your stay in Nice unforgettable.

Wir eine Familie von 6 Personen (4 erwachsene Kinder) haben eine Woche in diesem Apartment verbracht. Die Lage ist optimal (2 Blocks von der Promenade des Anglais entfernt). Das Apartment ist sehr luxuriös und auch sehr geräumig, auch für 6 Personen. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Stil eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Betten sind sehr gut und die 2 Bäder sind groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet vom Essgeschirr bis zum Kochgeschirr und erfüllt alle Bedürfnisse. Das Apartment hat sehr viel Charme und vermittelt das Gefühl nicht nur auf Urlaub zu sein, sondern sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Valerie, die uns empfangen hat und alles erklärt hat ist super nett, immer erreichbar und hat uns perfekt betreut. Der perfekte Platz, um in das Lebensgefühl der Cote D Azur und Südfrankreichs einzutauchen.

We stayed in this apartment a few years ago and couldn’t wait to return. My wife surprised me with a trip for St Patricks weekend and I couldn’t have been happier. The owners do a great job with this apartment. The have had the same woman looking after the cleaning and meet & greet and she is just brilliant - Meets you at the apartment on time and shows you around - Gives you the low-down on the appliances, etc. and then leaves you to it. The apartment itself is really well maintained, cleanliness is faultless and the beds are very comfortable. The local shops have gotten really good too since we were here previously. There is a great high-street of shops on the next block. You have a three supermarkets, along with a very impressive new organic food market that looks like it just opened. Great selection of cafés and bakeries for the mornings too. It’s great that the high standards we expected of this property have been maintained. Well done!

Loved it. Amazing property and great value.

The location is everything, 200 meters to the beach and under 1 km to shopping stores. The only problem is the heat and lack of air condition. The apartment is perfect in may and June, but to hot in August. Valerie is very kind, everything in the apartment is very neat. Thanks for the stay.

In all a lovely spacious apartment at a great location! It does however get warm, and the traffic could be loud in the early mornings.

We had an overall good experience. The owners were incredibly responsive when inquiring with questions and were very helpful. The apartment is lovely...especially the large living room with many windows. It's very bright, spacious, and in a great location...a short walk from the beach and many of the tourist areas. Parking worked out well at the recommended location at the museum nearby and was not as expensive as we expected. The owners also provide a lovely welcome packet with a lot of great information for visiting Nice and surrounding areas. The decor is nice and everything is comfortable; the photos are a very accurate representation of the beautiful apartment. Also, the building was secure and easy to find. Our only small complaints - the woman who welcomed us to the apartment was very nice but in a hurry; we would have preferred for her to spend a little more time explaining the apartment and area. There also weren't any paper towels or napkins available so I would recommend bringing your own. The apartment is on a busy street so it can be noisy, especially the master bedroom and living room with the windows open. Lastly, the apartment does NOT have air conditioning so it was incredibly warm and mostly uncomfortable during the heat of the summer. They do provide fans in every room which helps though. I would recommend a stay here as it is a great, spacious apartment but keep in mind the loud street and no a/c. If we make it back to Nice, I would stay here but visit in a cooler month than the end of June/early July.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It’s located a short walk to the beach and slightly longer walk to the old town. I loved walking the back streets back from old town rather than the Promenade as there were lots of interesting shops to see. Of course the view from the promenade was magnificent as well.

The apartment is very spacious and clean. Belle Époque, indeed. My sister and I did some cooking and there were plenty of dishes. The large drying racks for clothes were great as we had travelled a bit before we arrived in Nice. It is just a short walk to the sea and other attractions. There is a small grocery store close by also. VALERIE IS FANTASTIC with a very enjoyable laugh....an oh the elevator is so cute! We wish we could stay all summer.🌷�🌻�🌸�

My husband and three young children stayed at Mary’s beautiful apartment last September. We had a wonderful stay in the midst of a hectic trip around Europe and I must say this apartment was one of the real highlights. The bright, open, spacious layout and tastefully decorated apartment were just spectacular with lots of original period features such as ornate cornices and glass paneled doors. In spite of all this old world charm, the apartment is extremely comfortable, very modern and well equipped, and we had everything we needed to eat-in on one of the nights where our boys were too tired to venture out again. The location is really great with the beach a 5 minute stroll away. Mary recommended a car park very near the apartment which was ideal with on-street parking being limited in the city. We will definitely be recommending this apartment to any of our friends venturing to France in future.

This apartment is bright and clean, extremely well-equipped and comfortable. We could walk to everything in the city centre and the promenade and Negressco Hotel were just a couple of minutes away. The owner was extremely helpful. We really loved returning to the apartment after a busy day of roaming the city and further afield. It was so relaxing, it felt like home. The information pack provided by Mary really helped us to hit the ground running so we felt we got the absolute most from our vacation. I had never visited Nice before, but I would love to return and would definitely stay in Mary's apartment next time I'm in town.

Our family of 6 adults stayed in the apt in Nov 2017. The apt is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The check-in process was very efficient. The apt is within walking distance from restaurants, Mediterranean, and the train station....ideal location. While the apt is located across from a church with bells and surrounded by city construction/noise.... given the winter temperatures...the windows stayed closed and thus, we were unaware of the general noise issues. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the use of you wonderful home.

First, the positive The apartment is close to the beach and shopping. The rooms are large. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The apartment needs a thorough cleaning. The sofas, which at one time (and in the photos on VRBO) were white, are no longer white and are covered with worn quilts and pillows to hide the dirt. Window sills are filthy. The floors need a deep cleaning. Dishes are chipped and mismatched. Instead of a fresh, bright apartment, it is a tired, dingy apartment. This apartment could be beautiful, but it needs TLC. Upon arrival we were told the dishwasher sometimes malfunctions, and if water pooled in it, we would need to call the manager. Additionally, we were told using the dryer was probably futile--just air dry items. If you advertise your apartment has a washer and dryer, then both should be functional. Prior to booking the apartment, I specifically asked the owner about noise. I was assured there was little noise. This is just not true. The apartment is extremely noisy--you can hear people walking, talking, flushing toilets in the upstairs apartments. ALL noises from the street come into the apartment whether the windows are open or closed. It is very loud and potential renters should be aware of this. Additionally, there is construction occurring on an apartment building across the street. The owner told us it was "about finished" and would not be an issue. This, too, is not true. It is loud all day, and any potential renter should be aware of this. Also, there is no air con in the apartment. During our abbreviated visit, the weather was moderate, so not having air con was not an issue. We did open the windows once, but the noise was just too much. We literally had to shout to have a conversation. We have rented many properties via VRBO for many years and in many places. This is the first time we have felt misled by the photos and information provided by owners. It is also the first time we have shortened a stay due to dissatisfaction with a rental unit.

We had a beautiful stay in Nice. The apartment is very close to everything.....very comfortable stay for 4 ladies. Close to the sea, and walking distance to Old Town and the market. It was very noisy during the day, as they are doing construction right across the street. So if you have the windows open , it can be a bit bothersome. The provided blow dryers wouldn't work, and even our own with converters still kept tripping the breaker. Just something to keep in mind Overall though it's a great place and would stay here again if in Nice.

The appartment is spacious, clean and was exactly as described. The appartment is close to all amenities, 5 mins from beach,10 mins from the train station and close to the city. The hosts representative was lovely and very accommodating. Would defiantly book again.

I loved our stay at this beautiful apartment, my family and I were so amazed how perfect everything was. The apartment was very spacious , and looked as it did in the pictures. The location is just were you want to be, two blocks to the beach and walking distance to all the great restaurants. Mary was wonderful to work with, she responded to any questions immediately . Three couples stayed at this lovely apartment and we all had spacious bedrooms,with comfortable beds. There was a very well equipped kitchen should you want to cook. The layout of the apartment worked really well for us and the standard of everything was first class The location is great for walking anywhere in Nice,and local transport near by for further afield.The local transport is very frequent and cheap. Valerie met us at the apartment and gave us lots of useful information. The communication and quick response from Mary during the booking process was appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone.The beautiful tiny lift was an unexpected treasure,even though it wasn't needed by ourselves,the apartment is only 1 floor up.

This apartment lives up to its description and more. Very convenient both for walking around Nice and taking bus to Port and Old Town.It is spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you could possible need. Mary, the owner, gave us lots of local information which makes life simple especially for food shopping and restaurants. We would recommend a visit by bus to the hill town of St Paul de Vence and eating at the Colombe D'or restaurant. The art work is amazing as is the food and their own wine.The bus is only 2 euros!! Great value.

Just returning from a wonderful stay in this really beautiful, central apartment. Its spotlessly clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. Felt really welcome on arrival, buckets of helpful information provided on getting around, on what to see and do. Owner knows the area really well and made wonderful restaurant recommendations (Comptoir du Marche for dinner and La Reserve for Lunch being particular standouts for us). We had never rented an apartment privately before and were nervous, but felt very reassured by our dealings with Mary, the owner. Booking process could not have been simpler and our security deposit was returned by PayPal before we had even left Nice!

What an unbelievable apartment! We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was clean, easy to find, and located within walking distance to the beach and Old Town Nice. The apartment is gorgeous. It is very nicely decorated and equipped with high quality linens and towels. Communication with the owner, Mary, was easy and straightforward, and her assistant, Valerie, met us at the apartment and was very kind. She even arranged a gift basket for us since we arrived so late with wine, chocolates, and other goodies for our stay. This apartment was exactly as advertised, and I can highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay in Nice, the appartment is everything we hopped for clean, organized, beautiful and the location is great almost at the beach and you can walk to the old city center. Mary the owner of the apartment gave us all the attention necessary, clarifying any doubts, and sending us a lovely restaurant guide. Valerie greeted us when we arrived and everything went smooth and fine. We were a group of 6 and the apartment has a good size for this amount of people, so we were happy to plan our marathon to nice while chilling in the living room. All in all a must, certainly going back when in Nice.
