The location could simply not be better, with views of the lake, the river and the heads, and Maryka and her team made one feel right at home. We had secure off-street parking, an absolutely superb fish dinner, and breakfast was all one cloud wish for. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

There are minor things that could be better. 1) The manageress never asked if everything was up to standard and whether I needed anything. The blind in the room is not dark enough - light shone in all night. The chair at the dresser/ desk is too low - made it difficult to work on my laptop. Electricity plugs could be neater. The meal was oaky, the salad could have had more substance like avo, olives, especially for the price. ,

Super Lage mit Top-Aussicht, leider aufgrund Nebel und Regen nicht nutzbar. Kurzfristig arrangiertes Silvestermenue und Livemusik waren gut und sehr nett.

Offensichtlich waren die Böden nicht gesaugt und somit nicht sauber. Matratzen schon etwas durchgelegen.

Die herzliche Begrüßung & das Upgrade in ein Zimmer mit wun dervollem Blick. Das abends extra für einen gekocht wird & natürlich der super Ausblick!

Wenn man etwas genauer hinschaut, im Zimmer sieht/ bemerkt man so das eine oder andere. Wasserflecken an der Decke, einigen Staub auf der Elektroleiste zum TV & ein total verrostetes Hängeregal in der Dusche

The location is right next to a viewing point on top of the one head in Knysna. This gives you amazing views from the deck for sunset. It’s the second time I stayed there and it was again a pleasure. Staff was very friendly and food delicious for dinner and breakfast

If you have a big bag, it’s harder to carry up and down the spiral staircase, although the staff are more than willing to support.

Tout était top et surtout Lona qui a su rendre notre soirée très agréable. Elle a fait preuve d'une grande adaptation pour nous servir un dîner plus tardif et un petit déjeuner plutôt matinal (6h30). La chambre est très grande, à 10 mètres du sentier de Heads Viewpoint. La salle de bain est immense et la suite dispose d'une immense terrasse avec vue sur le lagon. .

Le frigo ne marchait pas (prise défectueuse)... mais futile, au vu des atouts majeurs de la chambre

B'fast was very good as was the staff

This was our second visit here and I was disappointed that the coffee machine has been removed!.T.V. in the room played Netflix and Amazon but you had to go to the main lounge to watch other programs i.e.DSTV satellite for news and sports etc.

The view was amazing, the food even more, shout out to the chef. The manager went above and beyond for us, we are so grateful. What an amazing team :)

Der Ausblick war atemberaubend mit sehr schönen und großen Zimmern.

We stayed in a superior sea view room for 2 nights Breakfast on day 1 was buffet style and was OK. Breakfast on day 2 was ordered at the table, was served and was excellent. We arrived on day 1 at about 6.30pm and although we had not pre-booked an evening meal the chef cooked us fish with a salad which was very good. Location was excellent. Parking was rather tight but OK. Shower curtain in bathroom was partly off the rail and one had to be very careful not to have too much shower pressure to avoid flooding the bathroom floor. There was a TV in the room but no instructions for use. ( we were therefore not able to catch up with news etc.) Staff were very attentive but not on site overnight. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

Tolle Lage, freundlicher Empfang, schöne Ausstattung auf zwei Ebenen.

Leider schlechtes Wetter, deshalb war die Sicht nicht so schön. Wir hatten unser Badezimmer nicht en suite, sondern über den Gang. Am Abend gab es kein, im Gegensatz zu Ankündigung, Abendessen im Haus.

Four years ago we were also in Pearl View. We had a great stay. When we arrived this year it felt like "coming home". Fantastic atmosphere. Thank you Marijcke and supporting staff!!!

Wunderschöne Lage mit zum Teil Ausblick auf den Ocean und die Lagune. Schöne Terrasse zum frühstücken und für einen Sundowner.

Über den Gästezimmer befand sich das Restaurant bzw. Frühstücksraum, dementsprechend lautes Stühle rücken am frühen Morgen. Küchen Gerüche bis in die Gästezimmer. Der Safe lag lose und verschlossen im Kleiderschrank und keiner interessierte dies. Fenster hatten keine Sicherung gegen unbefugtes eindringen, keine Insektennetze in den Fenster , alle elektrischen Rolladen waren defekt. Wir hatten einige Schaben im Bad, und eine handgroße schwarze Spinne im Vorhang.

Prachtig uitzicht. Lekker ontbijt.

Das Pearl View liegt hervorragend, man hat einen tollen Blick auf die Lagune oberhalb des viwpoints. Das Zimmer war ok, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen und mit einem Gemeinschaftsbalkon ausgestattet. Das Frühstück wurde von der netten Gastgeberin und ihrem Team zubereitet und draußen auf der Terasse serviert. Es gab Vanillejoghurt, Obstsalat, Toast mit Marmelade und verschiedene Eierspeisen die man bestellen konnte. Als wir einen Tag schon vor 8 Uhr zum Golf antreten „mussten“ haben wir ein schönes Frühstückspaket zum mitnehmen bekommen. Die parksituation war sicher im Hof vor dem Haus, welcher durch ein elektrisches Tor verschlossen war.

Das Bett war uns etwas zu schmal und, das Bad war nicht direkt am Zimmer, sondern nur über einen Flur zu erreichen. Es hieß in der Beschreibung „privates Badezimmer“. Es war auch zu unserer Alleinbenutzung, aber nicht am Zimmer. Dies war für uns bei der Buchung nicht erkennbar. Wir hatten nichtmal das billigste Budgetzimmer gebucht. Das Haus hat weitere Zimmer, die ein direktes Bad haben, und auch Schöner eingerichtet sind, aber es war ausgebucht und daher kein Tausch/ Upgrade möglich. man muss also bei der Buchung aufpassen oder Glück haben.

Great room, with amazing views across the sea and lagoon.

Superb location with stunning views. Large room to enjoy with access to terrace. Stylish breakfast, some of the best muesli/yogurt and omelette combinations enjoyed. A staff member spontaneously cleaned my car windows before our onward journey.

The establishment would have scored a perfect score, but for the lack of TV channels in the room and no hand-wash lotion in the bathroom

Everything - this place is amazing - the view, the people, the breakfast and the service.

Just one thing - the access to electricity or power to my hairdressing items, but it is still better than other 4 stars guest rooms at the Garden Route.

Location - situated right next to the knysna heads view point, you can enjoy breakfast while soaking up amazing views of the west head, thesan island and the lagoon. Upgrade - the host was extremely kind and upgraded my booking to the suite. Restaurant- Really good breakfast served daily - they cater for vegetarians as well.

Carpets - carpets look like they need a clean Towels - some of the towels had stains on them

Spectacular views and great service. Our swim in the pool was good on 2 hot days. Connie really looked after us very well. We were celebrating our 37th year wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the frest fruit at breakfast and a good grilled fish and fresh salad at dinner time. Thank you to Connie and his staff. We will return to this beautiful place.

Breakfast was good, the friendly and helpful staff made our stay enjoyable. We had the most amazing oxtail stew and cheeseburger the evening we arrived.

The weather...this of course was completely out of the properties control. Spent a lot of our time in the bedroom due to weather and my small plea would be that they do something to damp proof the rooms (although it wasn't a major problem).

Lage mit überragendem Ausblick( leider bei uns Regen/Nebel); Frühstück normaler Standard für Südafrika; Parkplatz sicher im Hof, aber eng.

Matratze leider recht durchgelegen im Doppelbett, Holztüren verzogen; Teppichboden seit längerer Zeit nicht gesaugt, auch Sanitär nur mäßig sauber.

Un lieu exceptionnel. Un personnel très a l'écoute de nos besoins. souriant, bienveillant. Petits déjeuners délicieux, variés, copieux. Lieu calme, paisible avec terrasse points de vues juste amazing. Possibilité de diner sur place, splendide coucher de soleil inclus. C'était le cadeau final de mes 3 semaines en Afrique du sud
