The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was huge and had everything one could need. Great amenities. Breakfast was great, and the restaurant staff were amazing. We will definitely return.

Not the hotel's fault, but perhaps they could take it up with the municipality. There are many speed bumps that are not clearly marked. The painted stripes need to be repainted and quite a few had missing chevron signs.

We had a very warm welcome by the Reception staff and one porter, Mandla. The views are spectacular.

There is so much about the property that disappointed us. Firstly, we asked for fire wood that never came. We asked for clean towels the next day which never came. The closet in the rooms smelt like dirty shoes. The rooms were just not properly cleaned. Then there is Zachary’s restaurant that is an even greater disappointment. The steak is of poor quality, the roast vegetables looked like the frozen pack vegetables, calamari was served with dry basmati rice, the boiler at breakfast was not on on both mornings and the tea & coffee made from it was cold. Pezula is just not value for money. Oh and the headboard fell down on our last morning there😰.

The Spa facilities and their staff was very friendly good at what they do the rooms are very specious and beautiful views.

The most of them it was the loadshedding was too much.

The location is the best hands down...

Housekeeping didn't bother to refill the sugar, coffee and milk. The cleaning could use some improvement and the carpet can do with washing...

The room was perfect. Clean and spacious with a stunning private hot tub in the garden. Perfect for a couples getaway! I also played my first game of golf here and it was very enjoyable.

Couldn’t fault the hotel at all, but the spa didn’t fill me with much confidence.

The location is great!

The initial infrastructure would be amazing, but the hotel‘s management seems to not care about anything: staff does seem to know what to do and seem to be very unsatisfied, food is ok, the rooms stink humidity, the pool & spa are not inviting at all. Really pity for the location that could be so cool in good hands!

Facilities are a little warn off, but the hotel is nice.

The ocean view suites were excellent, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The thoughtful design for every element of the room made relaxation and comfort really good. The position of the hotel relative to the amenities made accessing these different places quite easy. The visit to Thesen Island was exceptional, great food and ambiance making it a great place to visit.

The wi-fi was inconsistent throughout the stay, meaning staying connected or getting any work done was almost impossible. The staff had no idea why the wi-fi wasn't operational, neither was there any person that could provide an explanation. The food at the hotel left much to be desired, not of the quality one would expect in contrast to the food available in the rest of Knysna. The electrical back up for guest convenience appeared incapable of being adequate for use. There were moments when we could not use the appliances available in the room thus necessitating we find alternatives. The visit to Noetzie beach was a waste of time and effort, seeing as the food ordered was covered in beach sand hence we had no option but to discard everything.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great and the rooms nice and spacious.

My daughter's headphones and cash was stolen out of the room. My son's jewelry is also gone. We still waiting to here from the manager on the investigation. This left a bad taste on our whole visit. The bathroom tap was leaking and the tap had no pressure. The cupboards in the room was a bit run down and needs refurbishment. I know this is small, things but you expect perfection for the price we paid for 3 days.
