Location and comfort.

Not good that the guest was expected to remove garbage from the unit and also wash and return kitchen items to the cupboard.

The apartment was not clean and there are many items not in working order. Main bathroom, main light not working, second bedroom no light at all, second bedroom no air-conditioning but some kind of air-filter that was covered in dust, kitchen dishwasher main sliding tray broken, microwave dirty, hot plate dirty, washing machine does not work properly. Also mold in the shower which I cleaned with a cloth so it could have easily been cleaned. The unit had an overall musty smell and I actually purchased a candle to balance out the air-smell.

The location was incredible, super close to the beach and cafes. The layout of the apartment was good and having 2 bathrooms with 5 of us was a plus.

Unfortunately the spa bath wasn't very warm, so we couldn't use it. The temperature gauge didn't get any hotter than 28-30 degrees so it was too cool to use unfortunately. Also the cleanliness could be improved, there was a disused mask on the balcony upon arrival and quite a lot of dust on tables and bedheads.

Location was excellent! Being across the road from the beach was a bonus. Park the car and everything is in walking distance.

Expensive but a lovely apartment. The upstairs party area wasn’t used much at all as there was a group of young people who had the music so loud every day that we weren’t able to talk, let alone enjoy the moment. That was a huge disappointment. They were always loud even inside!

The furniture

There was no wifi

I absolutely loved the location and room decor, that there was a Jacuzzi, rooftop and BBQ area (wish there was a better view of the Bay). The beach was beautiful, soft and white sand, beautiful shells on the beach and the water was CRYSTAL CLEAR and a dazzling light green/blue colour. I loved loved how there was nearby shops available from a walking distance such as IGA, Pharmacy, clothing and food outlets. I also loved how there were some bike and Canoe hire, I also visited Nelson Bay, they've got a lot more activities for families to engage in such as Dolphin watching, Jet-skiing, Hire boats available to make your stay a little more exciting.

There were some things my husband and myself did not like. The mattress was not that comfortable, the room wreaked off mould upon arrival, we later found the smell coming from the bathroom. The jacuzzi was awesome but it stopped heating up beyond 33 degrees and we could only use it the first day as the temp was perfect. ALSO,, WIFI? there was no wifi whatsoever, we had to personal hot spot the TV. The bed had grains of sand as well? this made me feel really grossed out.
