Excellent week, fantastic location, easy walk to the Super Chatel ski lift. Central location ideal for eating out and shopping at the nearby bakeries, butchers and the Casino and Sherpa supermarkets. The Apartment block was quiet with lots of French residents 3 separate bedrooms with doors is a bonus, the two main bedrooms are have a double and 2 single beds respectively . The third bedroom has bunk beds with a really comfortable mattress that is suitable for small adults or children. We used the Porte Du Soleil pass and skied into Switzerland and onto Avoriaz regularly. Unlike previous years we were not able to ski into Morgins- we had to take the chair lift down into the village and were then meet by a frequent ski bus to take us to the Morgins ski lift. We were able to ski from Avoriaz back to Chatel. Would definitely recommend the apartment and Chatel.

Was as described. Ideally located with easy access to bus, SuperChatel, restaurants and shops. Located in a quiet area. Ample room for a family of five. Manager was there to meet us and arranged simple grocery shop for us as we were arriving late. Would stay again.

The chalet is situated close to the centre of Chatel, convenient for ski lifts and buses, and shops / restaurants. It is light and airy, well equipped and has a nice terrace. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 adults. Andrew, the property manager was very helpful and we had no problems at all during our stay.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location - very short walk to the lift and to the main restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully return.

The appartment has enough space for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. It was clean and includes the inventory you need. Nice are the comfortable sofa and chairs inside and also the space on the sunny terrace outside. We came to ski and the location is excellent in relation to the lift and the centre of the village. Max 3 minutes walk. Only point of improvement is the parkingspace. The appartment is for 6 persons, meaning 2 cars. One of the cars we have to park in the parkinggarage of the village and cost about EUR 84,- for a week.

This is a great little apartment - easy walking distance to the middle of Chatel and with everything you could need for your stay. The apartment was clean when we arrived and was straightforward to keep tidy throughout our stay. We were mountain biking so the garage was a bonus. The balcony was also spacious so washing and drying clothes was easy. Communications with the owner, Andrew, were prompt and cordial and all told I think our stay represented good value for money. My only observation is that the room itself is part of a wider apartment complex and it took a little time to get used to the layout - two separate lifts or staircases are required to get to the room but this is a very minor observation. Highly recommended!

We had a great week at Les Armoises. The apartment was perfectly placed close to the village centre and the Chatel gondola. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend Les Armoises for a family six holiday.

Apartment is well equipped and spacious enough for our family (4 adults and 1 child). Really short walk into town where all the bars and restaurants are and very close to lifts. Lovely balcony with great views. Would definitely come back. Friendly host and all went very well.

The apartment is bang in the centre, close to the ski lift and skihire all within a few minutes walk, it is just a small upwards 50yard climb from the town. Plenty of bars and restaurant close by. If you want to stay in chatel and not worry about the ski bus stay here ! The apartment has everything you need for your skiing holiday.

We stayed at half term which of course is the busiest time. Difficult to book tables in the local restaurants as very busy so the location of the apt to Central Chatel was fantastic for takeaways or self catering. We only had to walk 100m to the ski lift and could actually ski back to the side of the property. The Chalet has all you need for a short holiday and the representative was helpful. We (5 men) stayed at the apartment for our annual long weekend in January for our first visit to Chatel. The transfer to the resort was very smooth and as agreed, we were met by Andy, who manages the apartment to receive the keys and have a quick tour. The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and has great views from the main living room / terrace. Skis can be conveniently stored in the garage which is located at 1st floor. The apartment is very well located about 100m from the boulangerie, lifts and the centre of Chatel with all the restaurants / bars etc. We particularly enjoyed Le Hors Piste for the welcome of the proprietors (Tina) and the quality of the food and wine. The walk to the Super-Chatel lifts is very easy. All in all, a great holiday in a great apartment in a great resort!

We booked the apartment for a long weekend when taking part in the Passportes Du Soleil event. The apartment is perfectly located with only a short walk / bike ride to the centre of Chatel and to the Super-Chatel lift. The garage was perfect for storing our bikes and gave us ample space for undertaking post ride mechanicals. The three bedrooms, while not massive, were more than enough for our needs and the kitchen area was perfectly adequate for the two of us. There's a very useful heated towel rail in the bathroom, which came in very useful for drying bike shoes and bags! Outside, there is a large balcony with table and chairs, which overlooks the town and provides the perfect location to watch the night sky or distant thunder storms on one of our nights. All in all a great apartment in a fantastic location, which I'll be more than happy to use again when biking in the region.

Perfect for us also as we could only manage a short break this year. With a short flight to Geneva and a short transfer to Chatel we managed a full afternoons skiing on our first day. We would definitely go back to Chatel and this apartment.

There's no need for a car once at the village and so our transfer to and from Geneva airport is all we need. Super Chatel lift is a few minutes walk down hill and the bus station, with regular free transport to Pres La Joux just 15 mins up the valley, is only 5 mins walk away - also down hill. Hire your skiis from Vincent Sports opposite the bus station and their skii deposit takes any strain out of lugging equipment around the village. Bar La Godille and the restaurants La Pierrier and Le Fiacre are also just at the bottom of the hill - our favourite haunts over our 5 days in the village. Arriving and leaving is easy with Andy, the appartment manager who meets us on arrival with keys and sorts out any minor issues if they arise. All in all it's good value for money for a small but well located flat. It suits our needs to a tee.

It is very central to Chatel town centre with local shops and restaurants/bars only a few minutes walk away. The main Gondola took us about 5-7 minutes to walk to with all our ski equipment. This takes you up to the main Super Chatel skiing area. You can also get buses to other lifts but we ended up only using the main Gondola during our stay. This was the first time that our 11 year old daughter and 8 year old son had been on a skiing holiday, so we found the ski runs at Super Chatel perfect for them as they developed their confidence throughout the week. They went to ski school Monday to Friday and this was located at the top of the main Gondola, so it made it really easy to get to from the apartment. I would recommend this property to others, especially families with young children like ours. We had a fantastic holiday and this apartment, with it's facilities and location, helped make the holiday for us.
