This place was apparently party central we went to South Dakota for peace and quiet like the pictures suggested oh no party’s on both sides of us 1 house right in the front lawn till all hours of the night very loud also the house wasn’t up to par with how old and outdated the cabin was the grass hadn’t been cut in what looked like a month the hand rail on the stairs was broke and very much a safety hazard the air conditioning was not working and there was dirt on the comforter like it hadn’t been washed . I know I won’t be back very disappointed

Clean with needed necessities available. The hot tub is amazing. One evening deer came up to feed near us while we were in the hot tub.

We stayed Monday - Friday, to do some MC riding in the beautiful black hills. Cabin was great. We slept like rocks. Hot tub was clean and well-cared for. Pots and pans were convenient, we love to cook. Bring drink glasses/plastic cups. Well worth it, in our opinion! Would definitely return.

We are not skiers. With that said it was still a very quite neighborhood and extremely easy to find cabins. And we still got to see the sights as we intended. Staff and help with the rentals were extremely helpful and knowledgeable on surrounding area. Oh also you are only 10 minutes from Lead, SD to get anything you might need. Beutuful area a must see.

Our stay was ok but won’t be staying again. One of the bathrooms toilet seat was dirty, laundry was left in dryer, the Roku wasn’t working but got it up and running after I ran an update, room temperature was hard to control after turning down baseboard heat (too warm at times which is better than cold) but was resolved by opening doors. One of the stove burners does not work. Needs new kitchen cupboards, refrigerator and stove. Overall felt cabin was not cleaned properly and needs a professional to come in and do some proper updates/repairs especially for the price per night. If that happens I think it would be a fabulous place to stay. Location was great and easy to find.

Wether you have plans and are looking for just a place to stay, or if you plan on being a lazy pile all weekend, this cabin was absolutely incredible!

This cabin has the perfect combination of amenities, rustic charm, location, and affordability. We based here and spent a week exploring the Black Hills from north to south and east to west. We likely will stay here again.

everything was great

This was a beautiful retreat for me and my husband. It was fun to soak in the hot tub while it snowed. Deer visited us every night. The cabin is well laid out with a spacious kitchen. We would stay here again!

It was very smooth going, and the owners were very accommodating to changing weather conditions and working with us on rearrangements. The cabin itself was very nice and relaxing. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

There is the first problem we had, no broom. With that kind of snow power could of been a real problem. Problem # 2, there should be emergency wood. Put a charge on it if used. Problem # 3, no shovel. I had to borrow the neighbors shovel to dig out up to 30" of snow. If it weren't for a freak snow storm it would of been perfect.

Iight bulbs being burned out was sorta funny. I clean houses for a living and have to admit... maybe wouldnt have noticed either. Thank you.

This cabin was exactly what we expected when staying in South Dakota. It was clean, it was stocked with some basics such as dishes, laundry soap, a crock pot and firewood. There was a nice binder with instructions for the hot tub and fireplace etc. This property is listed as a 2 bedroom, but it is a one bedroom with a murphy bed in the living room. This was fine for us as our kids are young enough, they both fit on the bed however this may be a problem for those traveling with older kids or other adults. We did not stay at the cabin as there was so much to do and see in SD however, the time we did spend at the cabin was comfortable and enjoyable! The bathrooms could use a little TLC but it sounds as if the owners are working on that and they are currently functional and would not prevent us from staying again! The kids’ favorite part was being in the hot tub under the stars! I would highly recommend this cabin for other small families!

The battery was hanging out of the smoke detector in the master bedroom. The dryer vent is not hooked up so lint flies all over if you use the dryer. There is no central air conditioning only a window air. The cabin is very dated and needs some serious updating. Only a couple jets work in the hot tub. The location is the only plus. It's near riding trails. Shouldn't be charged as a two bedroom cabin.

Perfect little spot to unwind after a day exploring the hills. Has everything you need! Will more than likely be back!

Accommodations was fair. . Maintenance is lacking. There is a lot of improvements that need to be made. And communication was not very good. Explanation of bedroom situation was false. And 2 showers would be a plus.
