The house was perfect for us. The location was right on point and loved it. Margaret was lovely and so helpful with whatever we needed. Will stay again for sure.

This place is great for groups or if you want space to spread out. The place was very clean and the modern furnishings are some of the best I have seen. Attention to detail with amenities was also fantastic. Bedrooms were spacious and really nice bathrooms for most of the bedrooms. Beds and pillows were also perfect. We spent most of our time out on the deck and enjoyed watching and listening to the wild life at night. We will definitely and plan to bring more friends next time.

Great place to stay.

The house is pristine and very nicely decorated. The whole family enjoyed the open space area, the balcony and the view. The kitchen is well stocked and the Keurig was a very useful. We will be booking our next here for sure.

Beautiful property. Very nice furnishings. The air was not on when we arrived. It was 94 degrees in the home. It took about 1 1/2 days to cool down. There were no ceiling fans in the home, except for outside. Also the ice maker was not working in the freezer, we were not alerted to this. This property is right across from a busy highway, so we heard log trucks all day. If you rent a pontoon, you cannot take it under the bridge to the property itself. We made the best of it even though we were burning up the majority of the time.

Used the house for a weekend getaway with college friends, and we were blown away with the property. Everything is modern and up-to-date, plenty of comfortable beds, and wonderful amenities to go along with it. Margaret is super kind, helpful and available to answer any questions we had. Plus, the location of the property is definitely hard to beat! Would highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay with family at Pickwick! Plenty of space to gather: screen porch, covered deck with comfortable seating, and living room and well stocked kitchen. Wonderful bedrooms and bathrooms. Hot tub was an added plus too. Enjoyed watching the boats launch from the deck. Even though there is a dock for the boat, the gravel road and walkway to the dock is steep. It wouldn’t be safe for the physically challenged. But the boat ramp is a two minute drive. We looked everywhere to find a property large enough for a group of 10 with comfortable sleeping accommodations and THIS IS IT! It was absolutely perfect! Some of the highlights was the large open living room/dining room/kitchen so the group could all be together, the spacious bedrooms *all queen beds or larger, and the amazing hot tub in a cedar screened in room! And it’s a 2 minute drive to the marina and a great place for drinks/dinner - Freddy T’s. The host, Margaret, is super friendly and responsive! Overall, amazing place!!

Beautiful house and clean and great location.

We enjoyed this spacious and cheery home on rainy and sunny days alike. From time on the lake (we brought our pontoon boat) to movies, games and quiet reading time, there was plenty of space for everyone to comfortably sleep and gather. Margaret was friendly and responsive. Great stay!

I have rented a lot of VRBO’s over the past 15 years. Sometimes for girl trips, but usually for my family. I put a priority on selecting upscale properties. In my opinion, accommodations can add so much to a vacation experience. This property did not disappoint. The home is beautifully decorated, the kitchen features upscale appliances, sink, faucet, granite and backsplash. The home was stocked with a nice selection of cookware and utensils. There was a cabinet full of cooking staples, from spices, to coffee creamer. The large kitchen table was great for dining, and working puzzles. We enjoyed playing corn hole on the outdoor balcony. The hot tub was enjoyable, even on July evenings. There is a huge DVD movie selection. We were had picked out our favorites movies to watch, but never found the time. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable and had nice linens. I appreciated how clean everything was from the shower to the floors! This is a comfortable home with plenty of square footage. Easy for someone to find a quiet corner to read a book or take a nap. Our party consisted of my husband and I, and 4 kids ranging from 15-20 years old. Everyone love the home! Location was very convenient. We rented a boat from Aqua Yacht Marina. Everything was super easy. I was very impressed with the homeowner. She puts a lot of TLC and pride in this home. She was very friendly, and responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be returning.

This property was beyond everyone’s expectations. Spent much of our time on the porches relaxing, sharing old times & enjoying the scenic views of the water, boaters & the surrounding woods. Perfect setting if you just want to get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.

My husband and I came here for a quick anniversary getaway and could not have found a more perfect place. Margaret’s attention to detail from our check in to our entire stay went above and beyond; her lake house is BEAUTIFUL and you can’t beat the location or views. We will definitely be back!

Place was absolutely spotlessly clean! Location is not totally ideal for winter visits, but the beauty of the decor and the hot tub make up for it. Owner made herself very available for any issues that came up and we enjoyed our weekend getaway.
