Lovely studio apartment, beautiful location with stunning views

Lovely, peaceful location, perfect for nature lovers/walkers. Eve and Mark we’re very welcoming, but left you in peace also. Views from the garden were stunning. Room is larger than it looks

Lovely, clean and spacious studio with beautiful views and in perfect location.

What an amazing place to stay overlooking the ocean. The place was spotless and equipped with everything you needed.. great walks around st Lawrence with amazing views. Eve & Mark left us a welcoming strawberry’s scones and cream, tea coffee and milk, and a big bottle of Coke because we don’t drink LoL. What a lovely welcome and the nicest couple. If we needed anything they were there for us.. lots of places to visit which none were very far away. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back again. We had a wonderful stay at the beach studio! We came for a few nights and were greeted by Eve & Mark, who welcomed us and took the time to show us around, as well as providing a lovely welcome pack of cream tea, wine, beer and milk! We really loved the gazebo outside, where we spent our evenings looking out over the sea - total bliss! The location is really good - St Lawrence is so peaceful and quiet. We had an amazing stay here and will definitely be back!! Thank you for everything.

what a gem of a place this is! The studio is fantastic, contained everything we needed. Spotlessly cleaned and really comfy and quirky. The outside gazebo is amazing.. Views looking out at the sea and heated when it got cooler. Mark and Eve where lovely hosts. There if needed but we felt that we had total privacy. What a wonderful find this place was! will def return... Thank you both so very much

Very nice and quiet place with unique view to the sea. Perfect if you want to relax. Owners was very nice and helpful. Advised best places to visit. On arrival day we found some nice snacks, which pleasantly surprised us.

We had a lovely relaxing time at Mark and Eve's. The property is perfect for 2 adults, and has lovely views over the sea from the garden. It's secluded and private, and well situated for access to Ventor, the Botanic Gardens, and the roads to the rest of the island.

Fantastic views and welcoming hosts made this the perfect getaway for us for a few days. Close to Ventnor, Steep Hill, Botanic gardens with wonderful paths and beautiful villages. Thanks a million to our hosts who provided everything we needed and more.

Mark and Eve were so welcoming. We loved our stay in their studio and the outdoor space was lovely. Ventnor is a great area of the Isle of Wight to stay with fantastic views and lots to do!

The studio has a separate entrance from the rest of the house and was the quiet, relaxing break we needed. The welcome gift of a bottle of fizz and afternoon tea treats was a lovely touch. The view from the garden over the sea and use of their heated summerhouse to relax in the evening with a glass of wine was a real treat!Ventnor is a 45 minute walk along the spectacular cliff path and a 10 minute taxi ride back after our delicious pub lunch at the Spyglass Inn. We’d love to return someday to explore more of the island!

The property has astonishing views and very easy access to the beautiful coastal path. It was absolutely spotless, our hosts were very welcoming and super helpful. We just had a wonderful break and are planning to come back!

We had a great experience in Isle of Wight. Mark and Eve are very accommodating hosts.We booked last minute, spend 12 days in the studio and had our bikes with us, and have been offered a safe place to keep them. The Boat Studio is beautiful, situated on the coast and the Pergola is overlooking the sea, perfect for sunrise or sunset. The area is stunning and the studio is minutes walk from Woody Bay, beautiful landmarks and there is coastal walk to the Botanical Garden and Ventnor. Definitely recommend The Boat House, Mark and Eve.

Mark and Eve are very friendly hosts and make sure you have a warm welcome. The Bot house is lovely decorated and all you need will be there to have a comfortable stay. The view from the garden is amazing. We definitely will come back and can highly recommend the Boat House.

The studio was lovely. Very clean and cosy and The views from the garden were spectacular. We sat outside every evening and had food and drinks. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. It went far too quickly! We would definitely stay here again.

The property was immaculately clean which was particularly reassuring as we stayed just at the end of lockdown measures, Mark was on hand to welcome us when we arrived and showed us around. The boathouse is decorated beautifully and is very spacious. Mark and Eve left some safe treats for us in the fridge and a welcome pack which was a lovely touch. All the info we needed was in the booklet and Mark and Eve really respected our privacy which is exactly what we wanted. We also got to meet all 3 cats over the course of the week and our 7 year old daughter was very pleased about this! Overall a 10/10 stay

A lovely get away from it all stay to celebrate a big birthday. Mark and Eve were wonderful hosts. I couldn't fault their attention to detail. An exceptional welcome pack awaited my husband. The Studio was very comfortable and clean with amazing garden views of the ocean. Would definitely return to this lovely hideaway. Thank you Mark and Eve.

This was a lovely annexe to the main house. The owners were great. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Sadly we had a family emergency which cut short our stay but we would have been very happy here.

I'm afraid we did not find the studio very comfortable. I misread the description to understand that there was a separate bedroom, but this was not the case. While the bed was very comfortable, the sofa was not, and I can't imagine squeezing 4 people in such a small space. We were also disappointed to find the cooking facilities so limited. The barbecue outdoors was the only hob available (unfortunate in the rain), and there was no oven, just a small microwave. Self catering was further limited by the lack of a dining table and chairs. It was spotlessly clean, and Eve and Mark could not have been more helpful, but for such a small and limited space I really feel the studio is overpriced. It was nice being outside Ventnor in a peaceful location, with a lovely view from the gazebo. However you have to walk through Eve and Mark's garden to get to it, which is less comfortable. It would have been helpful to mention that there are steep steps down to the studio, as we found these quite strenuous, and unsuitable for my husband with his painful leg.

Our experience at the boathouse in Ventnor was beautiful the location is superb and the quality of the studio and cleanliness is outstanding. The owners of the property were so welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. We would not hesitate to stay there again in the future. Kind regards Ivan and Karen.
