On the positive side, it was quite cheap and had free parking. The house is located about one hour walk from the centre of Ljubljana, which is not too far (it seems there is a bus stop close by), and the neighborhood is quiet. The owner seemed nice, but she and her husband seemed a little busy when I arrived and I hadn't had the chance to say more than a few words. There is a kitchen at your disposal, or so it seemed, as she pointed me to it but did not mention if I could use it. And there is a big covered terrace that you can indeed use. WiFi works fine. The shared bathroom was clean when I arrived and still serviceable in the morning. The room is provided with a kettle, a mug, a spoon, tea, instant coffee and sugar.

The room was simply unfit for guests. The bed is incredibly uncomfortable, the mattress sinks so much it seems there is no bed frame underneath. The pillow was not a bed pillow, but a squared sofa pillow, more apt for decoration or a short "siesta", rather than a good night sleep. The bed is partially installed underneath a table, which runs along the whole length of the wall, and your feet will be just a few centimeters under the table when sleeping. I bumped them into the table various times during the night. The room had a corner with uncovered electrical cables, LAN cables, a couple of connected routers and plastic tubes coming off the wall, to run electrical wiring into them. There are something like 10 or 12 sockets on the wall above the table, a few of them seemed to be uncovered and not working (I did not dare to try them). The communal terrace is full of equipment, working tools, toys, luggage...one could take a seat somewhere, but I did not feel like it. And the kitchen the next morning was a total mess. I went downstairs to wash the mug after I had an instant coffee in the morning, before leaving, and there was used and dirty kitchenware everywhere (on the stove, on the shelving and in the sink), with food leftovers and empty cans/cartons. I know this could possibly be other guests' fault, but if I am the owner, before going to bed I would make sure my house and my kitchen are in decent conditions for other guests to use in the morning. And I would kindly invite the guests to be respectful to each other and clean after they ate. Overall, I would be tempted to say that the quality/price ratio is still ok, but, actually, it is not, really. 30 euros for a night with a shared bathroom are not yet quality, even in a European capital, if the guest cannot have a decent sleep on the bed and if the communal areas are dirty or unusable. I am sorry, I rarely do this, but I do not recommend this place, not even for a single night.

The host is one of the most inhospitable people iv met ! She's very very very rude, very non-welcoming, not helpful at all, anything i asked , she said look up Google !we had to figure out all Ljubljana things by ourselves! any room.related request too, she kept says no no very rudely ! We had a 5 months baby with us , she forced us to take a baby cot which is so flimsy and huge , even after telling her multiple times i don't need it as my baby does not sleep on baby cots, and forced us to pay an additional 26 Euros! I was so shocked by how rude someone can be ! Beds are very uncomfortable. It's far away from the city centre , the buses are only every half hour or 45 mins to the centre ! no lift so if yu have big luggage it's a bad choice ! I saw so many good reviews and booked the place i was very confused why the host was so horrible to us !! We would never ever go back here or suggest it to anyone !

The villa is amazing. I wish I could live there longer :) Everything was perfect. Guests have a comfortable kitchen and all the kitchen staff to cook. The rooms are clean. I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it for everyone. The owner of the place, Elena, is a fantastic woman, I enjoyed our communication a lot. Definitely 10 out of 10.

Everything was great. The only thing is: beware that on Sundays buses go really rarely, once per 30-35 minutes. But that's not villa's fault:))

There is few things to improve, but they are really minor... Like fixing doors to room that it could be closed without locking it. Few chares in a room maybe would be useful, maybe small table... But it is so minor things, because place is really great to stay

It is very hot in the room in hot weather, although there was even a thunderstorm with heavy rain in the evening and I opened the window wide, still it remained hot. For the price I do not expect air conditioning, but I recommend to put a stand fan in the room. Until about midnight you could hear TV noise and some generator/machine noise with the window open (which again was necessary to keep open because of the heat). The cleanliness in the shared bathroom is rather at minimum for a shared bathroom, but yeah, depends on the other guests I guess... Mattress way too soft, at least for my weight (90kg)

Great location, a few minutes from the city centre by car. Free parking at the property. Kitchen and a large terrace. Good-sized room with a lot of storage space. Great bonus are the insect nets in windows.

The door lock was broken so we had to lock the door with a key every time we were inside the room. There were no waste baskets to be found anywhere in the property. The mattresses were very soft and quite uncomfortable. The bathroom was a bit smelly and not very clean.

It's more of an AirB&B place; you have your own room in a big house where you share the facilities with the family that lives there. Conveniently located near shopping centres and a bus stop that takes you to the city centre. Calm area, easy-going owner/manager, friendly family.

You have to be careful with the shower cabin 'cos it's easy to flood the bathroom otherwise.

Nice host, clean comfy rooms. Good accommodation, quiet area. The house is located close to the store hofer, bus stop is nearby. It takes around 15min to the city center if u go by bus. Highly recommended.
