My partner and I loved this place. It has so much distinct personality. Clean, charming and very homey feeling. A really nice little kitchen set up, lovely living area and cute bedrooms. The host (Sean) was welcoming and very responsive when the wifi wasn't working initially. He was kind and knowledgeable about the area and gave a great tip for a very nice walk nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it.

We were a group of four and needed a place to stay along the coast after driving down from Dublin. This was a perfect location and positioned us to do the Copper Coast next day. Accommodations were comfortable, dated, but useable. No amenities in Annestown but Tremore is a short drive. Very quiet here. Shawn was great. He gave us an excellent rundown of the local history as well as some useful tips for seeing Southern Ireland. Overall a comfortable 3 day stay.

I have used VRBO extensively and Sean is by far the best host we have ever had. It's like staying with an old friend. The property was perfect, wish we had a longer stay in the area. Beach is very close, lots of local pubs, small town with everything 10 minutes away. Thank you Sean for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

Great stay, brief as it was just one nite. Sean greeted us there when we arrived. Very nice man comfortable stay and more room than we needed. Handy to have a kitchen for our stay. The beach and the view nearby was beautiful.

Overally very happy, very clean and spacious for a small cottage. Only negative was no cooker, but we managed fine without. Very relaxing place with easy access to beach and beautiful walks nearby.

Authentic home on the beautiful east coast of Ireland, very welcoming residence. Sean was very friendly and generously gave us suggestion’s for local activities and restaurants, Raglin Road was a excellent suggestion and Choice. A highly recommended stay.

Beautiful, isolated, close to the water. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with a nice living area in a quiet town. Hosts are wonderful; breakfast was excellent!! Because its older, there were small issues with wifi, shower, etc. but for the price, it cannot be beat! Also cute and charming. For extras, they have a little library of books including travel books for Ireland as well maps and travel brochures/fliers for local things. The hosts were so sweet and full of kowledge about the local area. The nearby beach is really beautiful, with cliffs, sandy beach, small island, pirate caves, etc. Very close by Tramore which has a great tourist area including a Coney Island/fair-type set up, horseback riding, fishing, pubs, and live music. A few more miles is Waterford, which has everything you can want. We had a lovely time and we would love to go back and stay for longer!

It's hard to articulate just how beautiful Annestown is. Brown's cottage is an adorable and cozy home nestled between two gorgeous (and quite private) beaches. Our stay was tranquil and lovely and just perfect. Sean was the best host we've ever had the privilege of knowing. He sat with us at breakfast and told us fascinating facts about the town's history and also directed us towards the must see's of the town and surrounding areas. It was one of four stops on our honeymoon and it was by far our best experience to date. Thanks Sean!

We loved our stay here! Sean, our host made a full Irish breakfast on the morning we left. What a wonderful and friendly person he is to chat with. We will stay here again if we are able to visit Ireland again.

It's a rustic old cottage in a tiny seaside village. As such it met my expectations. It's a cozy spot, in a quiet location. Sean is an excellent host, willing to share information regarding the area and ready with any advice about "what to see" when you visit. The offer of a traditional Irish Breakfast comes highly recommended, you'll not want for another meal the rest of the day. It was great to get out of the cookie cutter hotels for a change and live like a local person does. Don't expect a 5 Star hotel, although you'll receive 5 Star hospitality. Recommended.

Seamless booking process, friendly host with advice and very accommodating. We used Sean’s bbq, and sat outside chatting for hours.

Greeted at the door at 10:00 pm after a harrowing day learning to drive "right steering-wheeled" Sean quickly oriented us, went out of the way to get us supper, and cooked a mean full Irish breakfast to get us on our way the next morning.
