Very well maintained property. Quiet neighborhood and Ocean Springs is a very unique small town. Hope we can return.

We stayed here for one night on our way from Houston to Huntsville, AL. This is a very clean, nice little place. It fit our family of four, which includes two teenagers. It would be a little small for us for a whole week, but was perfect for our short stay. Ocean Springs is a charming little town, I wish we had had more time to see it all. Would stay here again.

Nice comfortable place close to the Front Street Beach, and not far from downtown.

Check in was a breeze-I appreciated the notice that the suite was ready a bit early as I arrived in town a bit early and had an early dinner reservation—perfect timing. The suite is perfectly situated within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants and Front Beach. Everything else was a short drive (few minutes) to Biloxi, Gulfport, D’Iberville, Gautier. Everything in the suite was on point—comfortable bed, great lounging living room area, useful kitchenette, lovely private patio off the bedroom. Lots of extra touches that made the stay easy and enjoyable. My only suggestion would be for a sturdier dining table—it was quite wobbly and not really usable for meals. The local Ocean Springs residents were so friendly and welcoming at restaurant happy hour and sitting on the beach at sunset and after dark was amazing. I will most certainly make this a recurring weekend getaway, and look forward to booking Oak Shade again.

Very cute place, very close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. Only thing was my wife said a woman would not be able to wash her hair there because of the water pressure but overall a great little place.

Great location! Took a short morning walk to the beach and it was wonderful! Everything was clean and tidy, and the air conditioner was nice and cool! Enjoyed the kitchenette as well and the Murphy bed was super comfortable! Very close to downtown as well, and Chris was very responsive and helpful with tips! Would stay here again for sure!

Perfectly located between the beach and downtown. Such a great little town. Excellent restaurants, shops and bars. The locals were amazingly welcoming! Highly recommend Patrick’s, the Red Apple, Gil’s and the Lady May.

Love this place. I've stayed in both the king and queen suites on two separate trips. Queen suite is nice because it has the two separate rooms and the outside veranda off the bedroom. Short walk to the beach and downtown Ocean Springs.

We really enjoyed our stay. Nice clean room within walking distance to downtown.

The Queen Suite was perfect for my husband and I. Seriously just a 3 block walk to the beach and an easy 5-10 min drive to Biloxi. Access to many wonderful stores and restaurants by both car or foot. Would stay at Oak Shade and would recommend to friends!

Great location, lovely accommodations - truly a refreshing break !

Your within walking distance to the beach, park and downtown Ocean Springs! We barely had to use our car while staying at this house. The house was clean and a good size for our family to stay at. The only downside we had was that it is a walk in shower instead of having a full bath (which is hard with 2 toddlers). The shower head could be replaced as the water pressure was pretty poor and couldn’t even was the sand out of our kids hair. Other then that one complaint, our stay was good and the host was good with communication!

We needed extra space for family during my son’s wedding and this unit (& the one adjacent to it) was a great place for extra family members.

The location was perfect, close to attractions but on a quiet neighborhood. Nice, clean accommodations. Easy to access and prompt responses from our host.

Our first time in oceans springs and we were very pleased with this suite! Location is perfect. It is close to the beach, we took our chairs to watch the sunset every night. Close to downtown area too…such a very walkable, beautiful little town. I’d stop at visitors center and get a walking map of town. If you have mobility issues, plenty of parking by the beach or you could rent a golf cart nearby. The suite was clean and nice. It has a sitting room area with tv and wet bar. Then a hallway leading back to the bathroom, then bedroom. There is a small deck with chairs off the bedroom. So we want to come back to Ocean Springs and would definitely stay here!

This was an excellent location for my little beach getaway! The house is walking distance or a super quick ride to the beach. The town is minutes away for dinning or shops. My dog loved the walks around the neighborhood and on the beach. Just don’t forget the bug spray. There aren’t many sidewalks but there is a culture of courteous drivers. The house layout was ideal for me & my guest. I would recommend bringing extra bath towels as there was a limited supply. The Murphy bed has a mattress cushion for comfort which was nice, however, the mattress pad could use a good cleaning as well as the sheets provided. Knowing the extra bed would be used, I was glad I traveled with an extra set of sheets. The property manager is attentive and both of my questions were responded to promptly. Overall, pleased with our stay.

The only negative was the icebox had a bad smell of dead fish. Also, the ac unit must be on some type of timer because when we put it lower at bedtime , it went back to 75 degrees. Got a little warm during the night. Other than that, the room was really nice and accommodations and ease of getting in and out was perfect.

Property is well maintained and great location

My wife and I made a last minute getaway for our anniversary and were fortunate to find the Queen Suite available. The room was perfect and clean and the location was was quiet but close to everything. We ventured out to Biloxi a couple of times but hurried back to our peaceful suite and downtown Ocean Springs. Even the beach was quiet. The only thing missing from walks to the beach and downtown was sidewalks in some areas but no big deal because traffic was minimal compared to Biloxi and other beach towns. Enjoyed our stay!

The property is unbelievably clean and inviting. The decor is perfect as are the amenities. The location is convenient to both the beach and downtown. We'll be back!!

The property is wonderful! We would happily stay here again. Chris, the property manager, was especially kind after my husband became ill one night. I will always be grateful for his kindness.

My husband and I are in our 70’s and this property was a wonderful delight. Very quiet, comfortable, and close to the beach. We rode bicycles and walked the neighborhood with our 13 yo dog, Lucy. Very close to town with wonderful places to eat. We usually come down to Oceans Springs two or three times a year. We will definitely use Vrbo our next stay instead of a hotel or motel. Wonderful stay!

Great property, clean, well maintained met all basic needs!

House was easy to access per the instructions given. Parking was great to have since it does get busy in the downtown district. Home was clean and decorated so nicely. It definitely felt like home away from home.
