The hotel is a small “boutique” style hotel - a one-off property. The hotel itself is located in a converted house on a main road on the outskirts of Haarlem, but still within the town area. The conversion has been professionally done to a high standard. There is one room in the roof space and another 3 or 4 (?) downstairs. Everything is digital, there is no reception. Check in and check out were seamless and very easy. There is ample parking right in front of the hotel. Our room was spotless and well appointed. The bed had a quality topper that was very comfortable and we slept well. Our room, in the roof space, had an open plan bathroom with the glass shower cubicle and the bath in the actual room. I am not a big fan of this concept but in this instance it worked well and did not seem strange. The rainwater shower was excellent. There was a small kitchenette, an iron and board as well as some comfortable chairs.
Overall our stay was faultless. If pushed to find fault I would judge that the attic room was a bit on the dark side despite one full length window overlooking the garden and lake. This really wasn’t an issue but nowhere is perfect, right?

I loved the bed and how quiet the whole property is. The views are amazing too
I wish there was bath robes
3.5
Large room, comfortable bed, keyless entry, the walk through to town.
Early morning commuter traffic noise is quite apparent. Opinions are divided on the clear glass shower enclosure in the bedroom, no facility apart from a single hook for hanging damp towels.

The accomodation was absolutely wonderful and a bliss to stay. Bas has made our stay even better. He was so incredibly helpful and kind. Really went the extra mile on making sure we had everything we needed. The way he communicated was amazing and we will for sure recommend it to everyone and will come back!
Nothing.

The room
It is not a hotel, it is a house, it is not run by professionals, no one assisted me at any time physically, everything by phone, the room was 13 degrees, the cushions dirty with dust, the furniture idem, when I made the reservation I explained in my observations , quiet room and the house is close to the road! Please, the booking team first check what you publish!!

Breakfast was good
The pillows and the tv

The breakfast was good - was left on a tray outside and was quite comprehensive. Room had everything we needed
The breakfast arrived an hour earlier than expected - arrived at 8am. There were hot hard boiled eggs so we had to get up to eat early. I hadn't realised that it was a place with no reception or dining room, so everything is done on codes and whatsap messages. It's not really a negative, just something I wasn't expecting. I suppose it felt more like a soulless motel and it reminded my husband of a hideous quarantine experience he had in Adelaide. I would probably stay here again though because its hard to find somewhere with easy parking in Haarlem and I think the garden would be great in better weather

The bed was very comfy, the shower was amazing, cozy room and great location. Excellent price/quality choice
Nothing. Everything went as expected.

The hotel has a very unique style. It is were the modern meets older times. We really liked everything, except of bed. If you want to stay more nights , please be aware that the matrices is very soft and if you are not used to it, then the back pain will follow.
we liked almost all

There room was clean and big, with a lovely outlook. Easy to check in online and was sent a code to enter (Covid friendly). We had a car, so plenty of parking!
The toilet space was tiny. My knees hit the door!

Far away from the city center of Haarlem - impersonal reception ( no local staff available)

I can’t say anything about the property as I was unable to get in. it look fine from the outside.
There was no one to contact about not being able to enter. The pin did not work and a call to booking.com required the confirmation code which was not recognized. Someone from the property does answer calls between 9-12 but it was evening. I left and booked another hotel.

The hotel looked good on the site - and it massively exceeded our expectations. The base was perfect for us - in cycling distance of Haarlem, Heemstede, Zandvoort - and the station at Heemstede for the train to Amsterdam. The patio/terrace outside our room (the Royal suite) was great and we didn't realise that we'd benefit from a great and peaceful garden.
Bas, the owner/manager, was really helpful and the service was first class all round. Can't recommend it highly enough - but do note there are no communal hotel facilities like reception or dining room. Wasn't a problem for us - and the excellent continental breakfast was left outside the room each day.
Nothing - we loved it all.

Beautiful view into the garden.

The room was nice, smaller than what I had expected but with a spacious shower. The hotel is at a walking distance from the bus stop, so it was very easy to get to the city Centre and back. Smart TV in the room, perfect to watch your favorite Netflix show at the end of the day.

perfect location for a relaxing (and/or romantic) weekend!
a bit cold on the floor, could’ve been nice with slippers.

Lovely large room with nice modern styling. Set in a large garden. Breakfast was excellent. A problem with the tv remote was solved promptly. Would definitely recommend if you don’t need to be in the town centre.
Shower didn’t drain until we removed the grill and took out the hair ball clogging it. Might be worth a regular check.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this hotel, we wish that we could have stayed for longer. Check in proved to be easy via text message, the room was exceptional, as was breakfast.
Our host was the most helpful, courteous and friendly guy possible. We were able to access a garden where we could sit and enjoy the nice weather but also securely keep our bicycles.
Nothing.

beautiful grounds, modern amenities. the staff was amazingly generous and responsive!
the bathroom layout was a bit odd in that the room opened up right into the shower area so you could see into the shower from the rest of the room. no privacy

Cosy rooms with a stylish interior design. Nice garden, even in winter. Sympathic host, who is very helpful in all concernings.
Very good beds! Great, that you can park your car for free and that you can use the hotelbikes. Makes fun to ride on them into the close town.
Some small things could be improved, like teaspoons and a bigger litter in the room.

Very comfortable bed, excellent bath and interesting shower. Facilities great and tasteful decor. Easy to park and if you are feeling fit a fifteen minute walk into Haarlem. Charming location.
Lighting can be taxing could do with a few more watts. Complicated shower, great when you work it out.
