We love the shack, such a great getaway with our cavoodle.

Loved the immaculately kept property and dog friendly (except for the cane toads)… just not a very relaxing holiday stay environment with 3 construction sites (1 house renovation next door, and 2 apartment complexes across the road) starting work before 7am, with tradies’ utes and cars parked both sides of the road, so trying to get our own 4wd in and out of the driveway was pretty tight at times. TBH we wouldn’t have stayed there if we had known what was going on in the street. When booking, the hosts were very helpful, the shack was clean and neat inside, loved the serenity on the back deck once the work had stopped each day, great location close to the river and shops, only minor issue with the house itself was we couldn’t open the garage door (the handle unlocked and turned but we couldn’t lift it / open it).

The property has everything you could want and the back deck is lovely with sea breezes. The street in front is full of parked cars all the time but it's nice and quiet out back. It is about a 5 minute walk to the river beach and Sunshine Plaza is nearby. Our visiting grandsons enjoyed the range of bikes to ride and our little dog was happy.

Very roomy (including verandah), clean and comfortable. The deck space was great for family gathering and two small dogs. Happy with our stay. Would recommend.

Gorgeous house with everything you will need and very clean. Shower head is a bit low and the dog next door is a little bit lonely and didnt shut up. All and all was a good stay Thanks guys

A wonderful place to stay . As a family with 2 small children and 2 dogs we found it very convenient ,enjoying the Sunshine and beauty around about us. Beds were comfortable and really appreciated the relaxing time on the deck.

We really enjoyed our stay, there are plenty of kids friendly activities in the area, and everything in the house was clean and well organized. Very easy check in process.

This was our second time staying at The Shack. The house is immaculately clean with all the comforts required for a pleasurable stay. Close to shops, beach and attractions, we look forward to locking in our third stay soon! Steve and Rebecca provide a 10/10 service and great communication.

The house was welcoming, clean and had everything we needed. Close to everything and walking distance to the water.

The shack became our home away from home when we had to rush to Queensland. The hosts were very understanding of our issues and we never felt pressured to leave when we had to extend 4 times. If we ever return to Queensland will definitely stay here. Suits upto 3 couples

The "Shack" was perfect, in walking distance to both Sunshine Plaza and the river. The dogs were well catered for with oodles of dog toys for their use. Even though it is in the middle of Maroochydore, the area is very quiet and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay.

Smaller than expected but nice place. Loved the big back deck and plenty of lawn space for young kids to play. Great location, short drive to everywhere we needed to go.

Could not fault the property exactly as presented on the website. Great location, great family home we loved the big open deck for gathering and family meals.

We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the space and paved areas for scooting and exploring outside. We did miss having access to a tumble drier as the first half of our week was very wet weather. When the sun came out the house was a lot better suited. The back deck is spacious and well equipped. The second toilet is down in the garage so not really an option in the middle of the night and far away when cold and dark but we made do. The location is great. Very close to bikeways/footpaths and all amenities.
