This little home away from home was perfect for both ourselves and our furbabies. Happy dogs is a simply furnished but well equipped cottage set behind the owners property. It is very comfortable, has a fantastic closed in garden and is super close to river walks and doggie swims (a must for any Labrador) and to the town. Rachel is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We will definitely be staying here again ❤️

We arrived late Thursday afternoon and checking in to the cottage couldn’t have been easier. The Beagles went straight out to the secure backyard and instantly we all felt very relaxed. The location to town was perfect and the recommended trail walk had the dogs putting themselves to bed each night before us. We highly recommend Happy Dogs cottage and look forward to more visits in the future. Thank you for having us!

Ideal place to stay for a couple of days with our two dogs. Great to have a fully enclosed back yard for them, they loved it. Comfy bed and no trouble sleeping. Unfortunately the couch was too low for me, trouble getting up off it with my bad knees, everything else was great! Thanks a lot, we'll come back!

Perfect location with everything you could want for a couple's beautiful time away with fur-babies. Sparkling clean accommodation and fully enclosed garden with lovely green lawn kept the pups happy while we went out. Walks from the property were beautiful, especially in cooler time of year. Loved the check-ins from Scooter (resident four legged friend) too! Thank you for a perfect, stress-free stay. Best dog friendly accommodation we have stayed at. Definitely somewhere we would love to stay again. :-) ps as non-smokers, we were a little concerned re smoking permitted but were relieved to find no smelly residue or signs of previous occupants smoking.

Great set up to bring along your furry family member. Perfect location, super close to town and right in the heart of all the best wineries. Was pleasantly surprised to find a lot of local businesses are dog friendly too..

Really great stay with our two dogs. Lovely self catering 1 bedroom stone cottage/apartment at rear of main house. Quite seperate from house and great enclosed yard for dogs. Dogs allowed inside. Modern, quality and clean facilities. Lovely owners in main house. Location great off Wichcliffe Rd on edge of town towards the beach. Would use again next time

We had a lovely couple of days in this little cottage. It was so clean and there were special little touches like nice coffee and tea and four lovely fresh eggs etc. The fire was easy to light and kept us very warm. This could become a yearly trek for us. Our little dog love the place and we particularly loved the walk to Margaret River and all around there, it is such a quiet spot we had a lovely break. We met the property owners and they are a delightful family! Thank you very much Stewart and Rachel for a lovely time.

Rachel has thought of everything to put in the cottage to make it welcoming, very comfortable and perfect for a holiday. The secure back yard was great for our two doggies to run around in. They were fascinated with Scooter on her invited playdates. Great location for lovely walks amongst beautiful trees.

Really enjoyable and peaceful stay at this great cottage. Lovely bush walks nearby for my Bassett hound Alfie. Would highly recommend this place.

My partner, our dog and I had a thoroughly relaxing baby-moon here at happy dogs. Before our life gets a bit crazy it was perfect for much needed R&R. Lighting the fire on a rainy night, bird watching with a cuppa in the secure (huge!) backyard, loads of walk tracks nearby, we really loved this cosy cottage.. very special memories for us! Thanks for having us

Perfectly presented, cozy little cottage with a good bit of yard for your four legged buddy. Easy walking distance to town and a fireplace to keep you warm on those cooler nights. Hosts are lovely and friendly and we will definitely be back.
