My family and I celebrated my husbands 60th Birthday at this beautiful cabin in the hills, away from the hustle and bustle of Sioux Falls. The feel of the cabin was secluded enough that you thought you were in the deep forest. Daily we had deer and turkeys out in the yard. The cabin was big and roomy for the 8 adults, it surely could have accommodated more. The pool table was a plus and the room down stairs was so big to host our game night. Thank you for helping us make memories.

This is our 2nd time staying here. The house has lots of room for our group and everything we need with a short drive town. We enjoyed watching all the wildlife right in the yard.

First off, Randy was super easy to work with. We traveled with our dog and Randy made sure he was welcome. Loved the house, loved the location. We stayed 4 nights and have no complaints. The canopy bed pictured in the listing isn’t there (which only mattered to my 10-yr-old daughter) but she delighted in the downstairs bedroom so it was no big deal. We cooked all of our meals at the property, enjoyed seeing turkeys and deer from the dining room and back porch and played board games at the big table. Oh, and the kids LOVED the pool table and big projection screen. The master bathroom shower is phenomenal. Would love to return, had a wonderful break from our real life.

Outstanding home. Could not ask for more accommodations as to being away from home. Premier location ,quiet, plenty of wildlife on site almost daily. Interior exquisitely designed. Communication with owner responses as to questions answered very quickly. Looking forward to our return in the future. :):)

We rented it for 10 days during Bike week. We had 4 couples and the house fit perfectly for everyone and it made it feel larger than we needed. Great location and easy access o all the events and so quiet. The team was fantastic and the process was flawless. Cant rave enough about the whole experience.

Our stay at this home couldn't have been better! Beautiful location with plenty of room to spread out. Close to Deadwood but very quiet and peaceful. We had no issues with the home and Randy was great about communicating to us before we arrived. Will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful vacation to the Black Hills with family and this property was perfect. The house was huge - with plenty of room to spread out, it was clean and had everything we needed. The location can't be beat - just outside of Deadwood but in a quiet area where you feel more secluded. You can hike up a short way behind the house and see great views of Deadwood and the Black Hills. The hot tub was a real treat - and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating for our large family. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Manicured lawn. Spacious driveway. The kitchen was modern featuring modern appliances - electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, etc. It had a large dining room that could seat 12 people. The bedrooms were super nice, particularly the master bedroom with a his/her sink and a his/her shower. There was a downstairs playroom with a pool table and entertainment center which also had bedrooms. This was a first-rate house.

We spent 6 days and 5 nights at this wonderfully cared for home near Deadwood. We could not be more satisfied with the experience or communication from the homeowner!

We had a fantastic stay at Gold Dust Manor! We had 8 adults and 2 children in our group and found there to be plenty of space for everyone. Randy, the property manager, was so very helpful and prompt in responding to any questions that we had. The property is in a beautiful development with amazing views and plentiful wildlife. We loved the hot tub, pool table and theater projection screen for fun family time in the evenings. We absolutely plan to return!

Kitchen was stocked well place was nice we really weren’t there a lot . Downstairs shower pressure could have been better.

We loved our stay at this house. It’s a beautiful home that had all the amenities we were looking for. Perfect location and a beautiful setting. The host was wonderful to work with, we would stay here again.

We rented this home for a Christmas celebration with multiple generations of family and it worked very well. The owner was great to work with obvious care for the quality of the experience.

Location was great and very comfortable. Views were awesome and seeing the deer up close was a treat.

Great secluded location. Decent amenities. Non-functioning ice/water dispenser which should have been mentioned...would have saved us an extra trip to purchase water and bagged ice.

Our family of six adults stayed for two enjoyable weeks here. It is centrally located to so many fun and interesting things to see and do. It is in a quiet location with neighbors very far apart where we enjoyed seeing the deer come by.Randy, the host, was always friendly and readily available. He responded quickly to our questions or needs. However, the house felt like it needed some attention to minor detail except we felt that both the mattress in the master bedroom and in the guest bedroom on the main floor were not very firm. Also the main floor guest bathroom shower was difficult to get into and in need of safety bars. We were disappointed that the ping pong table top was missing but we enjoyed playing pool most evenings.Overall, it was a pleasant stay with plenty of room for our family and a great location.

Would definitely stay here again. Host was very accommodating.

We stayed at Gold Dust Manor for a week and the home was fantastic. We had twelve family members there and everyone was comfortable. There was plenty of space to relax and the kitchen/dining area was perfect for family gathering/entertaining. The beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunsets (and one great storm) on the front porch + grilling on the back deck. Randy gave us great tips on what to do in the area and we knew he genuinely cared about our experience. We would give more than 5 stars if we could!

This was our first trip to South Dakota, and we loved it. The cabin is beautiful - the pictures don’t even do it justice.. The early mornings and early evenings were the best - we sat on the porch and watched the wildlife. Randy was an amazing host - very responsive and super helpful in recommending restaurants and places to visit. We would go again in a minute.

We had 6 adults and 5 grandkids at Randy's spacious house for 3 days......Great facility for the kids as they all slept in the bunk room while adults had separate bedrooms. Well furnished with a great kitchen, nice appliances, plenty of room to eat inside or out and a game room downstairs for the young ones. 3 car garage, easy access to Spearfish, Deadwood, Lead and the other spots in the Hills. Randy always available by phone or e-mail if needed!!

We really enjoyed this property for 3 weeks. It’s in a beautiful, quiet setting, in a neighborhood in the hills just outside of Deadwood. The floor plan is open, and tastefully decorated with lovely architectural features. There is a large kitchen, with a decent supply of dishes and pots and pans. A seating area with bar stools and a large dining table nearby. The main level has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The lower level has two additional bedrooms and another bathroom. One bedroom is a bunk room. The lower level also has a large laundry room, and a family room with a pool table and a projector screen TV. Just steps out the back door is a hottub. We did not use the lower level except for sleeping. We were small party of 4, and enjoyed the main living area upstairs. The property is an ideal set up for a larger family or group. There are plenty of places to spread out and enjoy the features of the home. Another bonus mentioned by other reviewer’s is the access to the garage & plenty of parking. Deer, turkeys and birds are frequently seen on the property. Randy, the owner is very responsive. We communicated with some minor issues up front, and he was very responsive.
