Beautiful home on the lake with a great backyard and dock! Perfect in every way. Multi-level boat dock great for swimming and boating. Wonderful well stocked kitchen and living room area with fabulous views of Lake Martin. Upper deck off living room is perfect for the morning coffee as you plan the activities of the day.
Loved the backyard with a great firepit to relax by in the evenings and covered grill / patio area with TV. Everything is so well thought of for a wonderful outdoor experience of pure enjoyment on Lake Martin.
Excellent communication with the host. Very clean home with great kitchen, beds and bathrooms. Outstanding home for a 5 Star PLUS experience.

We have family that live out of town so we rented this house for us all to be able to spend our Christmas together! Great house & great location! It was perfect! The house was clean and decorated beautifully for Christmas! Susan was great at communicating with me and answering any questions we had. Would definitely return!

We used the property as a place to stay while we visited our Alabama family for the holidays. Beautiful home with an amazing view of the lake. Plus the house was decorated for Christmas with a beautiful full size tree and decorations on the table and counters! Everything is really modern and updated. Will definitely stay here again maybe when the weather is warm enough to enjoy the lake more.

everything at the nest was excellent from online preview to check out. all rooms were very comfortable and conveniently arranged. plenty of supplies. actual interior exactly matched with the online pics. owner susan extremely helpful with all aspects of rental. regardless of purpose of travel to lake martin or number of guests, rent this place!!! you and your guests will enjoy it.

The property has a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets from the porch, dock and "lake house" by the water. The house has some obvious recent updates including appliances, kitchen, primary bath which were very nice. The Kitchen was well equipped. Wonderful family dinner seating on the outside porch. The bedrooms were spacious and nicely decorated. There was plenty of parking. No steps into the home, steps to the water were very easy to manage. There is a paddle boat available for guests to use which was fun.
We went to the Auburn v. Georgia football game (Approx. 35 min drive) . The property is just a few miles off of 280.
Susan was very quick to respond to my questions. Getting into the house was very easy. We had a great time. Thank you.

We had a wonderful few days at your home. The location was great. About a 30 minute drive to Auburn which made it easy for our son and a couple of his roommates to join us for the weekend. The view is spectacular! Sunrise coffee on the deck will be missed.

We loved the property and it had all that we needed, it was the best location I have stayed during any trip to Lake Martin… We actually came together for this trip as a family as we all awaited a phone call of my Father’s passing and lost his battle with cancer. We were all so happy to have a place to come together in such a tough time, hopefully we will be back next year under happier circumstances.

We traveled to Lake Martin for our daughter’s wedding. We needed a large house for our extended family traveling in for the big day. This house was perfect! The house looks just like the pictures. The lake views were amazing as were the amenities- dock, grill, fire pit. It was clean, quiet, comfortable! The host Susan was quick to communicate and respond to any questions. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an amazing lake get away!

Beautiful house, beautiful view, the kitchen was fantastic - top of the line appliances and everything you needed was there. Lots of room for extended family of 9 to spread out - both inside and outside. Everything we could possibly want for a family to make memories!!!

The house was beautiful with lots of room for our family. Easy access to the lake and dock. We loved the fire pit and outdoor area as well. Any question we had was answered quickly. Hope to visit again!

Our family got together near Auburn so our student could drop in when she was available, because her Spring Break was the previous week. Plenty of room for everyone, ages 14-79. Big fun fishing and riding the pedal boat. Quiet spot.

Beautiful home with absolutely gorgeous big water views & picture perfect sunrises over the water from the deck. The fire pit area is wonderful for making smores or just relaxing by the lake. Home is recently remodeled, clean, & very well stocked. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need(& more), bedrooms have extra pillows & blankets, etc. Floor plan is perfect for parents w teens, multiple families, & couples trips. We'll definitely be back!

Lake Martin summer vacation
Lake house was perfect for our family. Amazing lake views, great dock and lakeside covered entertainment area with grill and tv. Marina just around the bend for boat rental. We would rent this house again.

Spring Break 2021
Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great time. The home was very clean and comfortable. We loved hanging out by the lake roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and being able to have of our meals out by the lake at the covered outdoor dining/entertainment area. Every area is perfectly thought out and set up for having the perfect lake vacation. We hope to visit again soon.

The marina was just around the corner, we brought our boat. I would recommend bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. As well as paper plates. We needed all of them.

Property nice but probably won't be back
Anytime I rent anything whether it's a hotel condo cabin etc , I like to leave the place nice & neat . 30 minutes after checkout Susan called & was missing a pillow & a rug, never knew what rug she was talking about& the pillow might have accidentally got taken home with my niece or nephew. It made me feel like she thought I stole these items ( I'm sure she didn't mean to make me feel that way). But that's the way it made me feel. If I was to rent from her again I would probably be a nervous wreck Praying that nothing got misplaced. Other than this we had a blast !

Beds were very comfortable! Neighborhood, fire pit, fishing,swiming, jetted tub, boating etc.

Beautiful views !
We loved this house because of its views and pretty dock location . The bed and linens were very comfortable in the master which is the only room we used . The dock has two lounge chairs that are great and a nice firefly with great chairs . The little lakeside gazebo looked nice too . The draw back was a very run down pontoon boat that is tied to the dock . Sadly , it kind of ruins the experience down there .
The house is very well kept up and very clean . It’s important to know that a steep spiral stair car leads you to the bottom floor.

Our family loved this property. Highly recommend. We loved the layout and the covered porch. In addition we loved the outdoor kitchen. We spent most evenings down there. Very peaceful. Great dock for our rented boat. Check out lakeside marina at bay pines. Everyone was so friendly. If you plan to grill bring your own propane tank. Nicely stocked kitchen.

Nice weekend getaway
We enjoyed our Memorial Day weekend getaway. The lake house was quite roomy and nice on a quiet street in a cove so very peaceful which is what we were looking for.
