I loved that it was located so near to the sights and transportation was quite easy 10/10. I liked that there were facilities for cooking and that the place had everything we needed for our weekend stay there. It was easy to communicate with our host. The bed was comfortable and the entire apartment was spacious for the two of us.

I did not like that there were optional (Like the 49 euro for cleaning and the 500 euro deposit). While I do know that they are in the fine print, not everyone reads those. It would've been better especially for the cleaning to have been involved in everything and I think the 500 euro deposit is quite a lot. Apart from those, I could not fault the property. We had a lovely stay.

Great location - central, but a quiet street. Lovely spacious apartment with what you would expect for a self-catering apartment. Big bed with a comfortable mattress.

Communication was very poor. Check in - the person did not speak English and after initially saying he could meet my partner with 30 minutes notice, he then was unable to come until later so she had to wait around. We had trouble with the door lock so had to get him to come back again. Wifi was very patchy. The biggest issue though was that the bed frame broke the day before we left - I took photos and messaged the number provided, but received no response. I tried another contact number and got an out of office response directing me back to the first number. I tried using the complaint form for emergencies in the online guidebook but the form didn't work on my mobile. We ended up sleeping with the mattress on the floor on our last night. Check out information was confusing. I submitted a complaint form about the bed on return to the UK and have still received no acknowledgement of the issue raised.

The best part of the accommodation was the location. Very short walk to a tram stop or a 5-10 minute walk away from anything.

The only thing I would point out is there was not full length mirror but there was nothing to fault with this accommodation

The apartment is in a quiet street one back from the river frontage. Excellent location for people on foot and close to the tram services.

The location is superb and the apartment has everything you need. We were met by the friendly host on arrival and shown where things were in the apartment which was helpful.

Once you've checked in, host doesn't answer phone so when we had an access issue this was impossible to resolve. Also beware of the hidden fees required before check-in. The sofa bed was very squeaky so kept us up at night

We liked everything but there could have been better light for the beds and reading in bed.

The location is excellent. But we had real issues with this property.

We were taken to apartment by housekeeper. As soon as we started unpacking we were informed she had given us the wrong apartment unit. The unit they assigned to us (smaller) was still not cleaned--and we had to wait for 90 minutes while this was done!. When we complained to the property manager, he sent a threatening text that if we did not pay the "security" fee immediately, he would cancel our (paid) reservation. We were aware there may be certain local charges but the collection merges was really intimidation. Otherwise the apartment was relatively comfortable, save for a shower drain that kept backing up! Be advised.

The location was brilliant, right in the heart of Bordeaux.

They asked for a €500 euro deposit through a 3rd party web-site. None of this was made clear when we booked. Absolutley shocking!! If you did not remove your rubbish there was another €50 charge!

It was a lovely apartment. Clean and tidy, with everything you'd need for a short or long stay. Perfectly positioned in a quiet street close to the river. It's become our destination for future Bordeaux trips. The host is lovely and very helpful.

Comfortable, in a great location but still quiet. Tram stop and good restaurants nearby. The bed is clean and comfortable including the pillows. The secretary is very friendly and helpful.

Beware! The owners seem to have a fear of what guests might do and has put a lot of safeguards that really ruin the experience. There are deposits and hidden fees not immediately noticeable. There is a 500euro deposit if you damage something and have to spend time taking photos as soon as you enter to make sure you are safe! On booking.com, they ask to pay a €55 cleaning fee upfront unless you leave the apartment absolutely clean along with washing the bed linen, etc which is insane. Whereas in the apartment it only states reasonably clean which we did. The air conditioning was not working the first night although it did work when I checked in. The fuse probably tripped but only this fuse was locked up downstairs. I could not sleep in the 40C heat that night.

The room was not clean, full of dust everywhere. Below the bed literally 3 cm of dust and clearly it means no proper cleaning is regularly performed. Same thing with the windows and the building stairs. The shower needs some kind of improvement. Quality price not good.
