The Coral Penthouse was the perfect place to stay for a group of 12 friends visiting Rio for the first time during the New Year celebration. David was extremely helpful while planning the trip and answered every question we had. The staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. We want to thank Adriano for making everything go so smoothly. He helped us with our luggage, getting set up, booking excursions, communicating, and so much more! Adriano was happy to assist us with all of our needs. The Penthouse was beautiful, very safe, and had a view we will never forget. It was walking distance to the beach/restaurants/bars/shopping/etc. We never wanted to leave. Thank you for a truly unforgettable visit to Rio De Janerio. We will be back!

I planned a first time trip to Brazil for 10 men from the US. Not only did we all have a very enjoyable time in Rio, but the communication with David before the trip was top notch. David was beyond helpful with anything and everything for this trip. I travel all around the world and David has been hands down the easiest and most enjoyable host. We rented out both the 3 and 4 bedroom penthouse and it is gorgeous! If you can afford to stay here, please do so! Pay the extra dollars to be in a great location and in a safe neighborhood! You will be surrounded by restaurants, markets, cambios, beach, taxis, buses, and everything else you may need. Place was kept very tidy by the maid who also offered laundry services for a minimal fee. My friends have already asked me when I can bring them to Rio to stay with David. I am 100% sure I will be back at this spectacular penthouse.

The Coral Penthouse was one of the best houses I ever stayed in. It is literally a work of art. I own a travel company called RightWay2Vaca. I have been all over the world and The Coral Penthouse along with David's hospitality was one of my best experiences. We had a group of 10 guys. He helped us with everything we asked for. Also the Penthouse is in a prime location, next to everything. Will definitely be coming back soon!

We just departed today after a week enjoying the penthouse. We are a party of 7 adults, including two couples and 3 singles. We enjoyed all of the space: had dinner on the main terrace when weather was inviting, had dinner in the dining room when weather was blustery. We had appetizers and drinks nightly in the beautiful living room. The penthouse is finished w great detail--the plantings, the flowering shrubs, the tile trimming the terrace and the upper bedroom terrace. There was always some detail to discover and enjoy. The housekeeper was lovely, made a wonderful breakfast for us (at a reasonable charge) this morning. There are several groceries nearby. We had a chef prepare 6 of our 7 dinners (to which the owner can refer you) which we enjoyed greatly at "home" in the penthouse. We enjoyed being in a neighborhood and just 2 blocks from the beach.

There was lots to arrange before we arrived and he could not have been more helpful and responsive. His manager Adriano took excellent care of us while we were there. Markets are within a block and the fruit juice stand across the street has a great selection of breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and fresh juices. Restaurant right down the street was a great traditional Brazilian steakhouse.... with great prices!!! Walking to beach is a plus and also having an open deck that wraps around the building was very relaxing. The newly weds slept in the upstairs bedroom in complete privacy with spectacular mountain views. We travel with a BJJ team to Brazil every two years. This is our 3rd time staying at this penthouse. It is a fantastic location with all the amenities you could ask for. David is a dream to work with! My husband is from Rio so we go there often and there is no place better to stay then here!

Everything about the Coral Penthouse is perfect - the location, the views, the staff and the house itself. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights with a group of friends to celebrate our wedding and couldn't have picked a better place. The house is located near great restaurants and bars, as well as a short walk to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Max (the property manager) and David (the owner) were so responsive and helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly while we were there. I highly recommend the Coral Penthouse to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay.

From booking the property until our departure both David and Max were extremely helpful and were always just a text or email away. Max arranged pick up and drop off for our large group to and from the airport, which was needed due to the large amounts of luggage we had. We had a group of 14 total and the space was perfect for our mixed group which consisted of both couples and singles. My college friends and I found the location perfect for getting around Rio - very easy to flag a cab or order an Uber. The complex also has 24hr door service so it was always staff available to open the main door. I highly recommend this location, especially with large groups. Thanks so much David & Max!!!

Our group stayed in the Coral Penthouse for Carnival 2016 and had an amazing time! The accommodations are top-notch and the views are amazing! The penthouses were the perfect fit for our group of 9. Plenty of room for everyone and additional spaces to relax, cook and soak up the sun and sights of Copacabana. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable and the location is ideal; convenient to the beach, the metro, groceries, shopping, and restaurants. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Property manager Max is a jewel in this crown! He's friendly, accommodating and made us feel welcome, as well as assisting us with tours and transportation, suggestions for activities and dining. Owner David was gracious, friendly and made setting up the rental easy and convenient. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Coral Penthouse to friends or associates traveling to Rio, as I know their stay would be as memorable as ours!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the Coral Penthouse. It was spacious, safe, well maintained, well equipped, clean and self-contained. We were a group in Brazil for an international wedding and staying in this accommodation was one of the key features and highlights for many of our guests. The staff were also very capable and friendly. All in all, a wonderful experience and I hope to be back.

The penthouse was a really nice touch to our stay in Rio. We had 12 adults and 1 toddler and it was plenty of space. Max and David were absolutely amazing in setting up the rooms how we wanted and answering all of my questions beforehand. Max helped set up the airport transfer which is definitely worthwhile for a big group. He also helped set up a group tour and was available whenever we had questions about the city or anything else. It's In a great location walking distance to the beach and we were able to catch buses and taxis right outside the building entrance. You really can't go wrong with this place. Thank you David and Max for making our stay so delightful!

We rented the entire penthouse in Copacabana to celebrate my husband's birthday and we had a fabulous time! All the rooms were very clean and private and the kitchens provided all the basic necessities. We really enjoyed the large outdoor terrace, it was so spacious and perfect for us all to visit together. The building was safe with a 24hr doorman, and taxis were easily obtained right outside the front door. There was also a great juice bar and grocery store a few steps away. The house manager Max helped us tremendously, he was very attentive and always willing to help us arrange special outings and reservations. The housekeeper did a fantastic job also. Thank you for making my husband's birthday special!

My friends and I started planning a trip to Rio last year and since the trip's inception David and his team have been an absolute delight to work with. David was extremely accommodating with our schedules, check-in/check-out, specific requests, etc. The space was perfect for our group of 8, but could have easily accommodated more people. The location was in the heart of Copacabana, very close to everything we needed. Fell in love with some of the restaurants and stores nearby. Max, the property manager, was instrumental in making sure our stay went without blemish. He organized guided excursions, even brought an in-house money exchanger! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the AMAZING housekeeper; I don't know how she did it! She manicured the place to perfection every morning. Bit of advice for first timers... learn the language. A little bit can go a long way :) Overall, a perfect first time Rio experience. Thanks David, Max & Team!

We travelled with a group of 17 people to Brazil for a wedding. The second part of our trip was a stay in Rio for a week. Upon arriving to the building we were greeted by a helpful Max. He took care of bringing up our luggage while we took in the views from the beautiful penthouse. Being only three blocks from Copacabana beach we were able to see the water on one side and all the beautiful mountains on the other side. The penthouse was clean and had, what seemed to be, rooms upon rooms. Because we were such a large group we had access to both penthouses. To sum them up in 3 words: unique, charming and inviting. As for the outdoor space...amazing! With 3 large terraces we were never on top of each other. All our meals were eaten outside. The outdoor space alone is reason enough to rent the penthouse. Now for the important part, the staff. The staff at the penthouse were amazing. We felt taken care of completely. Lena always made sure everything was clean and put away. She was even on hand to make us a traditional Brazilian dinner one night! We loved having her around! Max is a knowledgable, friendly, English speaking manager, which made booking tours through him easy. We would mention something we wanted to do and he would arrange a bus (for the whole group) to take us where we wanted to go. He was always in the building and very easy to get a hold of if we had a question. To be in such a big city we really lucked out with the coral penthouse and everyone that was there to help us out on our first trip to Brazil! We would definitely return to the coral penthouse!

The penthouses are beautiful P2 is slightly more updated then P1 but both have a certain charm your not going to fine at any hotel anywhere else in the city. Max and his staff are so very helpful, thus was a first trip to Rio and their insight into the area eas in-valuable. You will not be disappointed if you chose the Coral Penthouse.

Our stay here was amazing. We were a party of 11 (2 families with teenagers) and Max and the staff could not have been more helpful. Max arranged a couple great outings for us and lined us up with some great guides. He arranged a fantastic soccer game with great seats for all of us, set up a flavela tour that was very interesting and he also set up a hang gliding expedition. The location of the apartment was convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and the beach and the views from the several outdoor spaces were amazing. The owner has provided all types of guide books and power converters so there is no need to worry about any of those items. The housekeeping service was great. The only issue that could be a problem is that after taking the elevator up 10 floors you need to walk up a floor of stairs so if mobility is an issue this might not be the apartment for you. Other than that it was a fantastic place to go with friends and enjoy all that Rio has to offer.
