We have a daughter and son-in-law that live 2 miles away. We usually visit a couple of times a year. We were bringing our 3 year old grandson to visit his aunt and uncle and decided to check out VRBO. I am so happy that we found your place! From now on, we will check for availability in your unit first.
We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, cooking out, and just relaxing and being together! The screened in porch was very nice. Not all of the villas have that, and that is a plus!
My grandson woke up one morning, looked around and said “Oh good we’re still here! Mimi we are still here!” He had the time of his life, even catching his first catfish that nearly pulled him in. He has caught lots of bass and blue gills, but that was his first catfish! Next time I hope to bring our boat along!
In our building there were 4 units. Ours seemed to be the only one occupied. We never heard or saw anyone else.
The pool was also nice!
I will say that I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and with the exception of a stray ramen noodle I found in a corner and a load of towels forgotten in the wash, (something we have all done before! lol), this place was extremely clean! I simply rewashed the towels, and threw away the noodle! If that is the worst thing I find in a rental I’m extremely pleased! Please don’t hesitate, book the unit!
We had everything we needed, included a thoughtful welcome basket filled with essentials travelers sometimes forget!

Honestly, this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The host had absolutely everything you could ever need. The place was really clean. I will be going back for sure.

Super clean and homey. Beautiful view of lake and easy acesss to boat ramp. The beds are super comfortable. Great place to stay with family. Kids can swim right out the back door. Enjoyed our stay very much. Well stocked with the basics. Definitely would return.

We came to the area to seek our antique and flea market events. Loved the gates privacy and the pool. View of lake from the condo was pretty. Condo was comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet it provided. Thank you so much!

Excellent location to visit ,we went to Helen Ga, the falls and make sure you visit Hartwell Dam, very nice condo with all amenities and the host were very accommodating, they even give you a welcome basket, first time we've ever received that in a VRBO

Very limited tv channels. Only free Vizio. Take a firestick with you. Coffee maker didn’t work. Key card to entrance gate didn’t work. No outside lighting to entrance door of condo. No propane grill, take charcoal. Little dated but very clean.

Away from everything and everyone. Quiet and comfortable. Beds were cozy, living room is nice, kitchen is well maintained and has all the cookware and cutlery you need.

Our son fishes in High School Tournaments and when I was searching for a place to stay in Anderson I needed something close to Green Pond Landing as that’s where they launch, and we would be going several times a day. This was a great location for what I needed, the view is beautiful and the Villa is clean and cozy.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and the drawers were all labeled so that was super helpful. We enjoyed our welcome basket as well. The owners were easy to communicate with. Everything we needed, plus some, was provided.

This is our third stay here and we can’t wait to get back. Such a nice condo and the lake is great. What a beautiful view to wake up and watch deer walking across the beach. The hosts are amazing. Don’t hesitate to book here.

Lovely stay.
Our stay at Hartwell Villas was a beautiful serene home away from home, we hope to stay again in the future.
The condo was clean, quiet and aptly equipped. I took pictures of the lovely views of the sunset many nights during our stay that I would love to share but there's no option here to do so.
I do have an Instagram account, @starrwood_art where photos from the condo and along the shoreline can be viewed, there's even a short video there of one of the many deer we saw during our stay.
We walked to the adjacent park, Sandlers Creek, where there are hiking trails, picnic tables and more lovely views.

Labor Day 2021
Everything was exactly as listed. It was my 78-year-old mom, 10-year-old nephew, my 4-year-old niece and myself. We arrived to a thoughtful welcome basket, from Cindy and Todd. We enjoyed the pool; everyone was so nice in the community. My mom and nephew fished from the bank, and they enjoyed that. We went one day and swam at Sadler’s creek and enjoyed the park. My mom was really impressed how well the kitchen was stocked with all we needed. It is nice they have a courtesy dock, a friend picked us up one day for tubing, the dock made this extremely easy to get on and off. We did pizza the first night. Each morning cooked breakfast, on a griddle I took. (there were plenty of pans-but the Kids love pancakes and griddle is easier). there was a charcoal grill, and we planned to do burgers one day, but I ended up cooking those on the griddle too, just easier clean up. On the Sunday we cooked a whole meal and had everything we needed. There were personal things the owner leaves in the condo, which made it feel lived in/comfortable to us. I would recommend this for anyone with kids, a romantic getaway or anyone that wants to just escape by themselves. The screened porch was peaceful as was a swing down next to the water. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!
