Great space to spread out. We had 11 but had plenty of room for more.

Great value for all the amenities and space. Nice touch to have beach and pool necessities available for use. The kitchen had everything we needed so we could make a few meals. The host was so accommodating and responsive to all messages. Would definitely stay again!!

Great communication with the homeowner. The pool was good and heated and the 2 refrigerators in the kitchen were a great help. The home is close to the beach and to restaurants and stores.

The beach is right down the road. The house had the the needed ammenities, and communication was great. We would rent again. Suits all age ranges.

This home was perfect for our large family of 13! Close to town and restaurants. Plenty of rooms for everyone and the kids LOVED the bunk room on the top floor! This home is a comfortable walking distance from the beach and provided ALLL the things! The kitchen is well stocked with two crock pots, pots and pans, silverware, two fully refrigerators, etc. Also stocked with a TON of beach toys, coolers, and two wagons to transport! Definitely one of the best VRBO’s I have ever stayed in. We were comfortable and felt at home the whole time. The host was super responsive and helpful! I truly appreciate all her help. We would definitely stay here again! We 10/10 recommend!

This property was perfect for our group! Although it slept way more than our group needed, it was nice for everyone to have their own space throughout the home. The short, convenient walk to the beautiful beach and ocean everyday was so nice. My kids felt like home here and didn’t want to leave! The owners were very quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had and were very kind and friendly throughout the process. This is my first time booking with VRBO and I couldn’t say enough good things about my experience! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Very nice weekend

Our family has stayed at this property several times. We love the home, the location, and the host. We highly recommend the Bird of Paradise. It is great for larger groups. There are several features that make this our favorite place; it has a private pool, there are two refrigerators, the kitchen is well laid out, and the bunk room has three bunk beds the bottom bed on each is a double.

Beautiful house, nice private pool and two adjoining pools, close walk to beautiful Miramar Beach.

The property was beautiful. It is close to the beach and within walking distance of a few restaurants and an icecream shop. Very family friendly.

Our family of 20 stayed in this wonderful house. We had more than enough room. A very short walk to the beach. The private pool was enjoyed almost as much as the beach. Appreciated the door alarm on the back door which led to the pool, although there is no deadbolt lock on the inside of any of the doors that lead outside. Some in our family enjoyed the tennis courts and exercise facility that is available. We appreciated ample parking for all of our cars. Jeffry was a great communicator and quick to respond! The price is amazing compared to other properties that sleep this many! We will return if we have the opportunity.

We had a great time at Bird of Paradise. Communication with the homeowner was amazing. The home is so close to the beach, in a perfect spot on the strip, and huge! I wish the weather, water, and the Destin Beach authorities would have been as cooperative… All 13 of us had a great time on our first trip to Destin.

House was plenty big enough for our group of 13. Loved the location to the beach and having our own pool!

The property is exactly like it states. Well maintained and clean. Property owner was very responsive to all questions. We love the fact that there were Extra beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage for us to use. The walk to the beach is just a few minutes away. The kitchen is well stocked with most things that you would need to do any cooking while staying. We will be booking this property again for another family vacation.

I cannot recommend this property enough! Perfect location, just a short walk from the beach. And it’s only 15 minutes from all of our favorite Destin restaurants. The house was beautiful, and suited our needs perfectly. The only issue we had was a light not working by the pool, but the owner was very responsive and got it fixed the next day. Will definitely stay here again!

All 21 of us had a blast on our family vacation in Miramar beach!! There was room for everyone and our group ranged from age 3 on up to age 38! The Gulf views and the house was beautiful & amazing!! Just as described! We loved seeing the Gulf out the windows and doors to this house, so peaceful and beautiful. The home owner was very kind and easy to work with, prompt at responding back about any questions we had and Very helpful as well. The Miramar beach area and Maravilla community is very nice and people friendly, a great family vacation area with kids. So many things to do! All the kids loved starting their day off by going for a morning swim in the pool at the house. We all enjoyed our stay at this house/place. Definitely want to make the trip from Iowa back here to vacation again sometime. Thank you so much for allowing our family to stay in your home and for all of your help!! We greatly appreciated it! Great location to the beach. House was huge and fit our 4 families perfectly. Listing says heated pool which is misleading. The gated community has a heated pool, but the property’s pool is an extra charge if you want heat. That wasn’t made known until we arrived. Weather was not ideal, so heated pool would have been great. Cleaning of the house could be better. Huge dust bunnies under the beds and in the closets. Lots of kitchen appliances and dinnerware for a crowd. Overall a great experience and would rent again!

Thank you for a wonderful relaxing week at your home. We had 10 of us- 3 of those were kids. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The beach was right down the street- even my 83 year old grandmother could walk to the beach- it was close. Restaurants nearby- private pool was right outside the back door. The kids loved the pool and swam everyday. We did a dolphin tour in Destin and that was awesome. The owner was very nice- communication with her was excellent. We already miss Florida being back in Illinois. If you have a larger group this house is def plenty big. We even cooked a thanksgiving meal and the kitchen had everything. Thank you again!!

Very nice space, with five bedrooms and five bathrooms and a large open concept Kitchen and living area this space makes it easy to spend time together as a group and also have your own private space. Great location would definitely stay again.

House location and amenities were great. Please of room for three families. Definitely in the top of our stays in the Destin area.

Our party of 9 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is beautiful and spacious with lots of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and store food (2 full size refrigerators!). Short walk to the beach, restaurants within walking distance (but still far enough away). We enjoyed relaxing by the swimming pool. The house was clean and communication with the homeowner was amazing. Thanks for everything, Jeffry!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property Accommodated our party of 13 perfectly. It’s a very short walk to the private beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The host is super nice and very responsive.

The owner of the property was very pushy and I felt like they were in the house with us how they would blow up my phone about different issues. The day of check out it was 9 am check out is at 10 keep in mind , the owner messages me asking if we are gone so house keeping can come . The owner was just unprofessional and pushy and was to much in the business of the stay. They even wanted to know of what stains were on the sheets. We had 20 people stay there , I didn’t know of everyone’s bed sheets it was just more stressful staying there than a resort

We enjoyed our stay at Birds of Paradise. Great location to the beach, just a short walk and It was nice to have the pool as well. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a beach getaway.

The Bird of Paradise was perfect for our family! So close to the beach AND a private pool right out the back door with all kinds of pool/beach toys. It even came beach chairs and umbrellas for the week. Jeffry, the owner, was so quick to respond to any questions and even provided dining recommendations. Merlin’s Pizza was a big hit!!! We would definitely stay here again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and both times were wonderful. Recently we stayed as a group of 14 and there was plenty of room for everyone. This house has everything you need. Having two fridges is a lifesaver. The pool is so nice to have right in the backyard. Location is perfect. The owner was communicative and responsive. You can’t go wrong with Bird!!

We brought friends to Destin for their first time and Bird of Paradise was the perfect place to stay! Communication with the owner was excellent! We had plenty of space for our 2 families and then some which equalled 13 total. Having 2 refrigerators was a bonus and beach service- 2 umbrellas, 4 chairs was awesome! There are blow- ups and extra beach chairs for guests to use too! If you have a big group and need space (and enough bathrooms!) STAY HERE!

This house was great for our extended family reunion/vacation! Plenty of room and did not feel like we were on top of each other. Beds were very comfortable! And the location was fabulous! Only 1 block from the beach! Highly recommend!
