Great place to stay while exploring Acadia. Very clean

Perfect place for 2 people. Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed, lots of thoughtful details. Close to town, and great place to stay while visiting the park. Wendy was sweet and provided excellent instructions. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area!

This little place has everything you need. We stayed for 4days to explore Acadia national park and it was only a short drive away. There are Walmart and Hanaford near by which is convenient! Very clean and well managed.

The outside grassy area with seating and fire pit, along with the screened in gazebo is seriously so awesome to sit and relax under the stars. What a wonderful experience.

My husband and I book-ended our camping trip to Acadia National Park at Wendy's place and we are so happy we did! Her place was so comfortable, easy to find, and just what we needed at the start and end of our vacay. Wendy was very helpful and responsive - we would stay again!

The property is set in the woods off the highway in Ellsworth, ME, and is very quiet. It’s a small abode perfect for 1-2 people, and Wendy had a lot of nice personal touches to the place, with great care to make it so. There was no noise, even though it’s connected to her property. We stayed for one night after hiking in Acadia. I recommend. Thanks Wendy!

This efficiency unit was exactly what my husband and I needed as we started our trip in Maine. We arrived late in the evening and had plans to head to Acadia National Park the following morning. Wendy left the light on for us since we arrived after dark, and provided helpful information whenever I reached out with questions. The bed was super comfortable! We are happy we stayed here.

This location is great for the coziness and the peaceful location. Close to everything with just a short drive.

Accommodation was just perfect for the two of us and Wendy was very helpful with directions to her place and recommendations for dinners & such.

I need a break from COVID life in southern Maine and, after searching on vbro as well as a competition site, I chose this property for its value. It is minutes from downtown Ellsworth and less than 30 minutes from Acadia. The property - a studio with a kitchenette and full bath - was clean, cozy, and full of the property owner's lush artwork. It provided the desired respite at an affordable price. I would recommend and also look forward to returning.

My son and I were on the road for a long while, visiting colleges across eastern Canada and northeast US. We were very tired and arriving very late in the evening. Our host went out of her way to help us. Our room was one of the nicest of our trip: private, clean, and quiet. She continued to help after we left for Bar Harbor, when we realized we'd left all our food in the fridge. She and the place were fantastic. I would note that we booked this through Kayak. Which turned out to be a great problem, since Kayak's conformation with address and contact info didn't reach us (problems with my e-mail provider). Kayak gave me no other way to get that info, though I searched its website for over an hour. Finally and luckily my credit card had the host's phone number, a number I was able to call and reach a person. The host helped immensely, filling in the Kayak gap in which we'd fallen. We were very lucky. My credit card had a good number and was able to get that to me.

Beautiful and comfy space down a tranquil wooded path.

A beautiful little efficiency apartment! I stayed 4 nights during a trip to Acadia with one other person. Wendy’s place was perfect for what we needed. Nestled in the woods about half and hour from Acadia, we were in the perfect place to visit the park without having to deal with the touristy parts! The apartment is attached to Wendy’s home but has its own private entrance. The bed is comfortable and cozy. The attached private bath is sufficient and clean. There is a sink and two-burner stove, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator with freezer compartment. Wendy is nice enough to supply coffee, sugar, powdered creamer, mugs, dish soap, pots/pans, utensils, etc. Shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and lotion are in the bathroom. Clothes hangers are in the closet space. There is a small TV for Netflix and such if you need it. There is also a small space heater and fan. Overall a great place to stay while visiting the area. We ran into Wendy as we were leaving and and she is delightful. Really cares about the comfort of her guests. I would stay again if I ever get back to the area.

This was the perfect place to begin our trip and Wendy really made it a homey and cozy space. We loved the space and highly recommend!

Even though the facility was clean and presentation was pleasant with small welcomes for us – bananas, yogurt, coffee, tea, eggs, etc., it wasn’t what we expected. After seeing the beautiful yard and scenic views presented on line, we thought we would be staying in a peaceful cabin in the woods. We saw no pictures of the building. When we got there we found that we had to tiptoe around and limit any noise including TV (and I have difficulty hearing) because both the owner and other guests were in what appeared to be a double-wide mobile home designed for multiple occupants. We could hear through the walls, so tried all week to be courteous of others in the building – not that we are very noisy by nature, but it would have been more enjoyable had it been a separate building on the property. NOTE: The owner was extremely hospitable if this is what you are looking for!

Wendy was amazing and lovely! The space was small and comfy. The location was convenient and close to everything.

The apartment is very comfortable, clean, and neat. Wendy adds lots of small touches to make it very inviting. I was having a bit of trouble with directions - she took the time to write out some specific instructions to get me on my way to enjoy my time in the area. I would highly recommend her place to stay. It is in close proximity to Acadia as well as some good places to eat.

Wendy's place is a great jumping off point to explore Bar Harbor and surrounding area. We loved to comfy bed and even though the space is small it has everything you need!!

Very nice!!! Would stay again.
