The condo is in a convenient location and a beautiful beach and pool are just steps away. From the main bedroom and living room you can here the sound of the waves and the view from the screened in porch are very nice. The bed in the main room is quite comfortable and ceiling fans and central air conditioning kept us cool throughout our stay. The condo is in need of updates especially in bathrooms and furnishings There are popcorn ceilings and walls throughout making it look quite dated. Also maintenance needed around windows, baseboards and the screens on the balcony. There was also some cleanliness concerns that I discussed on my first day with the host who assured me the cleaning person had been there prior to our stay. The standard of cleanliness was not what we expected after reading many 5 star reviews prior to renting the unit. Gentle Winds is a well maintained , safe and quiet condominium complex but it is not gated as the description states. Only one key is given out to guest after retrieving it from a lock box. Upgrading to a digital smart lock or keyless entry would be a suggestion.

This condo is at one of the best condo complexes in St Croix; Gentle Winds! This particular unit is close to the beach and pool and is very comfortable for 2 couples complete with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The view from the screened in porch is breathtaking! The beach is glorious and we spent a lot of time in the water sipping rum punches made at the Beach Shack This beach shack is a major plus since they serve lunch and drinks!

Our family of 5 (adult children ages 22, 19, and 17) couldn’t have been more pleased with our week at Gentle Winds. The condo was clean, spacious, and well stocked. The location was amazing! Just steps to the beautiful beach. The hosts were great at responding to questions, providing helpful details prior to the trip, and making it easy to check-in/check-out. We’re already dreaming of our return. Thank you for a delightful stay in your beautiful condo!

Great view, great property, great location! Went on a double mother daughter trip and stayed here. It had all we needed and more. The tiki hut was nice for drinks and food for lunch, and the beach was almost empty!! There is some decent snorkeling right out from the swim beach too. We will be back!

Caribbean Breeze had all the features we were looking for. Pool, bar / grill and beach all within a few steps of the condo. The condo was in good shape and well maintained. Appreciated the in-house pool floats and beach towels. We’ll stocked kitchen and working washer and dryer. Enjoyed our stay and will look forward to booking again.

I have traveled to St Croix for almost a decade and never had a better experience! This condo has it all, fully furnished, clean and location, location, location! The guy's at the Beach Shack are awesome and they have some really great eats and drinks! The host was very responsive...although we really didn't need anything at all. I highly recommend this property.

We absolutely love Gentle Winds. Caribbean Breeze is a great unit in one of the best buildings and closest to the water. The king size bed was very comfortable. The balcony was extremely enjoyable in the mornings and evenings. It was everything we hoped for!

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights. We have been to St. Croix many times and this was one of my favorites. It was the slow season so we didn't get to eat at the Snack Shack. It is closed Sept-Oct. The Marina next door was also closed during the day. This was disappointing but we still had a great time. The power went out on our first day and didn't come back until the evening. We just stayed on the beach. Every evening we would sit on the deck and watch the sunset. The views are amazing. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo.

Great place to stay. 2 couples, plenty of room and privacy. Important things to note ...self check-in, multiple keys, stocked kitchen, ninja blender for drinks, starter bag of ice in freezer, coolers to use, dish soap, washer/dryer, laundry soap, very, very, large pool with plenty of seating. Wut conditioning reaches every room in condo and never ran out of hot water. Owners answered when I called. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a few initial issues with the Property as the Cleaner had not shown up from the previous tenant and the place was trashed. Kent was able to a get a cleaner in later that evening. Was a little upset about the security as the cleaners left with the property unlocked and out personal affects still in the Condo. Once we got settled in and the place was cleaned up we enjoyed the stay. Recommend to Kent to have the Cleaners to text once the property is cleaned and ready for the next tenant. That was a shock to see.

Great location and view … couldn’t be much closer to the ocean. Kent was great making recommendations for attractions and places to rest.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kent was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. My family including my husband, our two teens and I spent a week in St Croix and this place was perfect. My husband and son did day and night dives with Sweet Bottom dive and both had an amazing experience. We all went horseback riding with Cruzan Cowgirls, snorkeled Buck Island with Big Beard Adventures and hiked to the tide pools with Bush Tribe Adventures. All our guides were fantastic. We also hiked to Udal point and took the Jack and Isaac Bay hike on our own. The views were stunning and the beach was gorgeous. Gentle Breeze condos was just right for our family. A beautiful property, excellent location, the condo itself is a little dated but very clean and perfect for families, has everything you need. We loved the beach and pool, the beachside grill for drinks, lunch and early dinner, and the low key, family friendly, very safe vibe.

Our unit was closest to the beach and pool and there were more palapa and chairs than guests! The pool water was too cold to swim so we never saw more than 2 people try it. On most days the sea was better. The unit itself is quite dated but the beds are very comfortable.

The Caribbean Breeze was an excellent place to stay. Everything was as advertised. The condo was very clean and in excellent condition. We plan on staying there again during our next trip.

We traveled with our college age children and absolutely loved the location and amenities at this property. Great location, wonderful beach, yummy food and drink at the Tiki bar and owners were very responsive to any questions. A relaxed vacation with many activities close by. We enjoyed snorkeling, diving, ATV through the rainforest, visiting Point Udall and paddling through the Bioluminescent Bay right down the street. Great place to stay and island on which to vacation!

This property was perfect for our week in St. Croix. Location was centralized and words cannot describe the view. December winds prevented us from enjoying the beach, the pool was perfect. The condo had everything you need. Definitely planning on returning.

This was our 2nd trip to STX, and our 1st to this property. The condo was well suited for 2 couples. We enjoyed the condo as it was clean and stocked with all the things we needed and more. I especially love the idea of each guest leaving a few things behind such as sunscreen, hand soap, etc. for the next guest to use. We took advantage of that and in return left a few things as well. The property itself is gorgeous! At times we were the only people on the beach. The only disappointment we had is that the Beach bar was closed during our visit (hurricane season) as was other businesses in STX; which we did not account for in our planning. However, we still found plenty of things to do and places to eat. The property is somewhat secluded, but only a short drive to both Frederiksted and Christiansted. Would definitely not hesitate to stay here again!

Communication with both Kent and Dawn was effortless, and their condo is a prime location. The weather was perfect, the water was warm, and the pool was relaxing. The condo came with everything you could possibly need, right down to beach chairs and coolers. The master bed was comfy and rooms are spacious. The snack shack serves yummy drinks and snacks if you don't feel like cooking or venturing out. We visited Buck's Island (Which is a must do - We used Caribbean Sea Adventures for the tour). Definetly stop and see the Beer Drinking Pigs, visit Cane Bay, Rainbow Beach, and Christiansted. We were a little disappointed in Frederiksted as the quaint little town seems to be suffering still from past Hurricanes and Covid, so we merely drove through it, not getting out of the car. So I wouldn't waste my time going back to that little town until its back in action. But Christiansted was where all the touristy things are like great food and shopping. There is a great little restaurant right down the road from the condo called Flyers, and we became repeat diners there during our 9 day vacation. Beth was our server who was friendly and helpful to us each time. Stella the owners dog is pretty sweet too. (We are animal lovers, so pets are always a part of our reviews).The condo is nice and quiet which we loved as we needed peace and quiet from a year plus of working around the clock as essential workers for the pandemic. It took a couple of days to finally unwind and get into a slow rhythm, but the ocean view and sounds of the waves each night helped us relax and unwind as we had hoped. There was some seaweed the washed in on the last day in front of the condo, but we decided to make it a pool day. So we weren't that bothered by it. Ziggy the Black Gentle Breeze cat likes to visit when you are relaxing near the beach at night. He's large and sleek looking - almost Egyptian looking and if we lived there, we would snatch him and keep him. hahah so make sure to say hi to him from us. We look forward to returning to Gentle Breeze someday as it was truly a wonderful trip with everything we needed. Loved our stay! Wonderful view and cozy accommodations. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend.

The host and location of the condo were great as it backs up to the ocean. It was nice not to have to fight for an umbrella on the beach, but there is a reef very close to the beach, so you can only swim a few feet out. It's good for snorkeling or playing by the water, but not for swimming. The pool and deck area can use some updating. The bar/restaurant workers requested vacationers to wear masks, but allowed residents to go without them. The condo was surface cleaned and had good space, but it can use new paint and updated furniture. Overall peaceful and had great sunsets from the balcony.

We really enjoyed the quietness of this location. The sounds of the ocean and breezes were the loudest thing we heard! More fluffy towels and spices than we needed. The food at the pool bar/grill is really good as well. Kent, thank you for your tips on grocery stores and dive companies on the island. We plan to return!
