we hosted a family reunion here, with a tent on the lawn next to the house. It was a perfect place allowing comfortable space for 30 of us - on the deck, in the house, in the tent and on the lawn. Six of us stayed in the house very comfortably. We would go again!

This cottage is much more beautiful than I could have imagined! The windows overlooking the marsh where the sun rises on one side and sets on the other allow for breathtaking views. Amazing watching the tide go in and out and feeling at one with nature while having all the comforts of home. The quality in furnishings and attention to detail within provide a seamless backdrop to the beauty outdoors. The owner is extremely responsive and polite and goes above and beyond to make his guests comfortable. You won't be disappointed!

This little house in Pine Point Beach had lots to offer. Breathtaking views of the Nonesuch River marsh. Watching clammers dig their daily catch, and lobstermen set out in early morning and return mid-afternoon with their haul. Great sunsets. A five-minute walk to the beach. Delicious food just steps from the front door at one of the local restaurants. A peaceful and serene setting where you feel separated from the world, yet you’re only a few miles from the hubbub of Route 1 for any last-minute supplies. The house was beautiful and well equipped. We’re already considering a return trip next summer.

This was a lovely property in a an ideal location for a family. The 20 year old's drove into Portland and Old Orchard Beach. We older folk sat on the deck, enjoyed the view and read. The house had everything we needed!

The perfect Maine cottage. Incredible views that change with the tides. Adorable cottage with coastal decor. Great kitchen. Comfy furniture. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect, quintessential Maine vacation. We stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed every day and LOVED the location. Great lobster pound next door where you could eat on the pier or have them steam your lobsters to go. Owners were very accommodating - TV failed in the master and was replaced within hours. It is a great place to relax - bright and airy and views from every room. Private beach, huge deck and everything you could ask for inside.

I can't say enough good things about the owner, the location, the home/cottage, and the "service". We had our wedding and reception here over this past weekend and everything was perfect. The owner was so helpful leading up to our big day, even sending us the tide chart in advance, so we could plan our ceremony time around the high tide for photo ops! He even arranged for the landscapers to come off schedule to make sure the lawn and grounds were looking their best. Even the owner's brother next door was very kind and helpful as well. The "cottage" was a perfect match for our family, VERY clean, classy & tasteful and yet homey at the same time. We were so proud to call this location our wedding ceremony and reception site. A beautiful sailcloth tent and white chairs were set up on the gorgeous lawn to make the perfect (like out of a magazine) scene for our nuptials. It was nice to be "on the water" but not have to share the beach with the general public, as this cottage is on the "marsh-side" or western facing. It was a perfect setting for some sunset photos! There are no words to describe the view from the large window in the "master" bedroom... Even pictures don't do it any justice! And what a way to spend a morning, coffee on your own little beach! Our event went off without a hitch, adults and children both had a wonderful time on the property. Thanks to the owner for helping create a wonderful weekend that we will remember forever.

We can't say enough good things about our stay at this wonderful house! The ground floor is one large, airy room incorporating both the kitchen, dining area, and living space, with views on two sides out to the cove. We would wake up every morning and step downstairs to majestic views out these windows. Walking out onto the porch you could easily waste away the day in Adirondack chairs, basking in the sun while giving your kids the chance to play on the secluded beachfront only steps away. Add to that a lush lawn perfect for a game of frisbee, Bayley's Lobster Pound right around the corner, and Pine Point Beach within a 5 minutes' walk and there is little to fault with this great rental. We would love the opportunity to return!
