Amazing place so cosy with a lovely fire to welcome us. Majella and John were lovely people who made us feel very welcome, they even drove us into town, so kind. Beautiful rural setting with fantastic views. Breakfast was also supplied for us. Thank you so much Majella and John.

Fabulous! Loved everything, very cosy and spacious. And spotless clean. Thanks so much!

The accommodation was lovely, warm, clean and spacious. Everything you might possibly need for your stay is provided, a real home from home, and so peaceful. Majella was lovely and helpful, she met us at a nearby service station and showed us over to the house, and to top it off she provided breakfast for the morning. The accommodation is just a short drive from Castlebar. I will definitely book to stay here again.

The place was spotless. Facilities of a high standard. The host Majella was very friendly and accommodating. Only 15 mins to Westport and 5 mins to Castlebar. Ideal base for seeing the West.

We liked everything about our stay.

Hosts really nice/friendly. Visiting my Aunty only 5 minute drive away so location perfect for me. Beautiful Ballintubber Abbey near by and shop/petrol station only 2/3 minute drive in car. Majella had stocked some items for brekkie which was really nice. House very clean /Spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Peace and quiet and a very tranquil place

The house is in a beautiful location and so quiet! All you can hear are birds. You can even see Croagh Patrick from the kitchen window. The house was even better than in the photos when we arrived - really well-appointed, super comfortable and spacious. Everything that you need for a lovely staycation is provided and there's a great seating area outside with 2 tables for drinking in the views on a nice day. The host was very kind and let us in to the propety early - there was breakfast and lots of helpful items left for us too! We particularly loved walking down the lane in the evening (turning right towards Westport) - the views are stunning and hardly a car passes!

Fab accomadation,very clean, well equipped and private area for bbq. Kids loved running around the garden and enjoying bbq facilities. Lovely host met us with key and was available should the need have arose. Great location with kids,we had 3 under 8yr. Car def essential for this accomadation. Take away in the daybreak shop was amazing as recommended by host

Majella was lovely and welcoming, she had breakfast and milk in the fridge, selection of cereals which was great. Fire ready to go. There was loads of hot water and seating outside. Great DayBreak shop a little drive from the house, staff were so nice. Lovely pizzas. We hired bikes from Bikes and Boards in Castlebar and cycled the Greenway. Well worth a visit.

In a lovely quiet area for a relaxing break. I would definitely return in happy circumstances (here for a family fuberal) Everything you could ask for in a self catering property. I loely surprise of milk, bacon, eggs, bread and beans for breakfast. (And cereals). Wonderful hosts.
