Friendly welcoming hosts very knowledgeable about the area both geographically and culturally. Engaged on arrival and at breakfast in interesting and wide-ranging conversation. This enhanced the experience without impinging on enjoyment of best breakfast of the trip!

Kate was very welcoming and made us feel at home from the get go. We connected straight away. Kevin was easy to chat with. All and all, it was a very pleasant experience. It was like visiting family, yet we had never met them before.

Kevin and Kate are very gracious hosts! We felt as comfortable as if we were at home, except we didn't have to cook the delicious muffins and breakfast. All in all, a fabulous experience!

Kevin and Kate are great host.everything was perfect, this is the only place to stay if you are in northern Maine.

The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and informative. The breakfast was delicious and Kate was extremely accommodating to my dietary restrictions. The location was within two minutes of anything you could need in Caribou. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned everyday. The iron collection was beyond impressive. This was an excellent experience and I will be staying here every time I find myself in Caribou.

The breakfast was made to order and FANTASTIC!!! It was not a "this is what you are getting, take it or leave it" situation. We had a choice of time to eat and with or without other guests.

The steep stairs to the second floor. A first floor room would have been better. But I expected it would be an old house with bedrooms on the second floor and I chose it anyway. I survived and would do it all over again!

Big, comfortable old house wonderfully decorated with... well, old irons! Nicely done. Very comfortable & quiet. Close to food. I had a very early flight and the hostess packed a fabulous breakfast-to-go for me.

A cozy, tidy home conveniently located in Caribou. Inviting, nostalgic and filled with antique treasures - a fascinating collection that captivates all. Kate is lovely: welcoming, accommodating, incredibly bright and a true conversationalist. We could have spent hours chatting; she is a sophisticated thinker who can speak intelligently on any topic (including, but certainly not limited to, the area and culture). Unfortunately we did not meet Kevin, as he was away, but hope to return someday to pick his brain on the old irons. The “Amoeba Room” where we stayed was clean and comfortable (we are typically not B&B people but enjoyed the lack of television in the room on this occasion; it was quiet and we slept soundly). Nice hot shower and good water pressure, plenty of on-site parking…and, last but not least: the breakfast - exceptional! Kate is truly the homemade “muffin queen” and assembled a beautiful plate. The table was set with no detail overlooked. Thank you, Kate; we will cross paths again! - Shannon + Dominic
