Door code provided was 10digits and supposed to be 4. No one ever returned our calls. Had it not been for the neighbors we would have never gotten in.

The location was the best ever! A quiet area with a short distance to shopping, restaurants and touristy sights. The beach was a short walk away and the small local grocery store was a wonderful convenience.

The keypad was a 10-digit code and it was not easy to use many times. It was, in fact, frustrating to get in the door. There is a huge step up into the bathroom and we had to keep the bathroom door closed to remind us, especially in the middle of the night, so as to not forget and trip on the step. We bought a night light to be able to see the step at night. Unsafe, especially for us older folk! There was a hairdryer in the bathroom to use, however, there wasn't a plug in at all in the bathroom, we would dry our hair in the bedroom. The ice maker knocks LOUDLY, like someone knocking on the door. We had to turn it off before bedtime so that it wouldn't wake us in the middle of the night knocking. During the day while on, it was quick to make ice cubes though. The kitchen had very bottom-line utensils and pots and pans. We went out and bought some to use during our stay and then took them home with us. There is no washer and dryer, which is inconvenient,

The location is great, only a short walk to the beach. Out of the way of hustle and bustle yet well within range of things to do and places to eat.

The mattress needs replacing. It was not comfy. Couldn't watch live tv in the bedroom either.

Booking.com falsely claims that my bank refused to honor charges for my stay. This resulted in groceries and clothing belonging to me being stolen.

I didn't expect much for the price, but I did expect it to be clean. It was not, in fact, it was filthy. It reeked of cigarette smoke, the floors were sticky, there were dirty socks under he couch and under the storage trunk in the closet, also candy and trash under the bed, crusted up food next to the stove, the silverware had large chunks of dried crusty food on them, the pans were sticky, and there was dust caked on the ceiling fans. We didn't use the pull out because the couch was so dirty and stained. We bought an air mattress and used our own bedding on the bed. The window unit keeps the bedroom ice cold but it is HOT in the rest of the space. They put a fan between the rooms to help blow cold air into the living area, but it kept shutting itself off so it was of no use. There were 4 of us there for an entire week and we were given 4 towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 wash rags. We had to go buy stuff to clean with and towels and wash rags for for the whole week, as well. We would have left as soon as we walked in, but everything was booked and this place was nonrefundable. They claim to deep clean. They do not. I will NEVER use a Vacasa rental again.
