We decided on a whim that we wanted to immerse ourselves into the blues culture. Look no further than Clarksdale. What an amazing experience. The Squeeze Box was the perfect place to call home for a few days, and Hanna and John were fantastic hosts. We cant wait to stay again.

Fantastic funky original place

Can’t beat the location. Locals and fellow tourists were phenomenal. Didn’t want to leave. Place had everything we needed m-we ate out every meal though. Keurig coffee maker and dorm fridge. Sofa isn’t the most comfy but it works. Highly recommend Abe’s, Bad Apple, Hambones, Ground Zero, Reds, and Chris directly across the street cooks everyday and has an impressive vintage toy collection. Go out of your way and eat at Ramon’s. Mike and Raymond are homeless men that live in the area. They are harmless if you have a few bucks pay it forward. Hannah met us promptly and explained everything. 5/5

In town for a wedding. The location was great. Easy walk to Morgan Freeman’s blues bar Ground Zero. Also stopped by the Stone Pony for drinks and pizza.

Ideal location for this unique apartment. We’ve stayed in funky rentals before, and I worry about cleanliness and comfort- but not here! Live music, charming coffee shop, good food all within a few blocks. Hope to come back.

The Squeeze Box is such a cool and funky rental. The perfect spot for a stay in the heart of the Delta Blues.

Very happy with our stay. Couch was a little uncomfortable, but overall we were very happy with the space! Great location, convenient walk to everything!

The place was just awesome in every aspect. Hannah was a great hostess and was always available. The Squeeze box was everything and more than we expected. We will be back to stay with them again!

The Squeeze Box was the perfect location to experience Clarksdale, we never moved our car during our stay. The locals were more than welcoming and had no problem sharing their stories. We had no Idea how much history we would encounter during our short stay!,

Fantastic Blues Decor. Great location. No stovetop, just toaster oven and microwave. Bed is too soft and lumpy. Funky, but that's Clarksdale! Great VRBO.

Our second time at this property - the fun funky vibe combined with great location makes it a perfect base of operations when visiting Clarksdale.

Everything worth eating, drinking and listening to is within easy walking distance. Great fun!!

My husband and I stayed at the squeeze box for 5 days and 4 nights. We had a blast! From the charming spot that was filled with recycled materials morphed into a cluster of yesteryears quaint place to lay your head…. The place was a fantastic example of what art whimsy and old wood and make a fun vacay into a wonderful experience and memory to cherish. We were slap dab across the street from the hambone, and eclectic art gallery/ bar/ band hall for local blues musicians. Artists couldn’t swing a paintbrush letalone a tall tale word about themselves around without hitting another artist, musician or writer in the head and not feeling the vibe to make a movement to dance. We had all the best bbq at Abe’s the best pizza at the stone pony, twice actually by accident, and Yazoo press has pretty amazing coffee. We bought art from Stan Street, found murals by Chirch Going Mule and went to the seed store that was epic with the most fascinating of new trinkets, tools, and home goods. I myself personally enjoyed the blues museum and lol the drug store on the Main Street going out of downtown. Man…. It’s like a time capsule plucked from the twilight zone. Fabulous! Wonderful experience! The squeeze box is the only place I can say that has a X-ray machine above the bed and isn’t intimidating or horror movie SAW like…… I dig the booth seating and the chairs by the window. Lots to peep out at when it’s the wee hours. All in all. I’d give it two ribs up! Two drumsticks up! Two timing my baby all over town doing me proud? I dunno….. we had a blast and hope to return! Thank you Clarksdale, thank you the squeeze box. Thank you art. Thank you blues. Thank you bbq. Love

This was my first time to MS & Clarksdale. I loved it so much that I'm coming back in a few short weeks. This rental is conveniently close to everything, walking distance to Cat Head store and Grandma's House of Pancakes, Red's Lounge and Ground Zero Blues Club and so much more. The town is quiet when it's not a festival weekend but everyone is friendly and helpful and better to take in the sights. I loved the murals and the Delta Blues Museum. You could be entertained for hours alone in the Squeeze Box with all of the memorabilia. Only suggestion for the owners is to get pillow case covers to protect the pillows from stains. I drove from TX and thankfully brought my own pillow.

Great location, walking distance to everything downtown. Clean and decorated so fun, to match the Blues theme. Booking and check in was easy, great communication with owner.
