This cozy cottage is so beautiful. We love staying here when we are in Louisiana. The hosts are on-site which is great and we had the pleasure of meeting them both. Very nice people and accommodating. The pool is a new addition and we just enjoyed ourselves outside by the pool as the weather was amazing. The cottage is clean and the kitchen has everything you need. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay there again in the future.

This is a very nice house - great kitchen (stocked well for any cook), great living room, bedrooms were very nice, and bathrooms were nice size to get ready in. Owner was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Location is quiet and close to anything you may need.

We had a great stay with friends and family at this property. Everything was as described and the host went above and beyond with accommodations. Lots of amenities and small touches were greatly appreciated and the house had everything you could ever want. Well stocked with all kitchen and bathroom essentials and many toys for the kids to enjoy. Would 100% recommend staying here!

Our stay at the Cozy Cottage was not one of leisure. My elderly father was having a major surgery at a nearby hospital and myself and my family needed to be in close proximity of said hospital. Alexis is the most gracious and compassionate owner I have ever encountered in utilizing VRBO. The property is simply beautiful and exactly as described. I am grateful to these hosts for making a difficult time more bearable due to the comfort, cleanliness and beauty of their property. It was a place of respite for us.

We had a great stay! The house was extremely clean and completely stocked for whatever you needed. The kids loved playing on the playground.

This cottage was a perfect place to stay so we could attend all of our granddaughter's graduation functions. Our son and his family flew in, and it made a great family gathering location. The cottage is very clean and nicely decorated. Our 5-year-old grandson enjoyed the playground found on the property. I recommend this location you are looking for a great home away from home.

Six of us rented this cottage for a wedding in the Abita Springs area. The location was great and everything we needed was provided. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely stay here!

From start to finish this place is the perfect home away from home for any type of group! Check in was so easy and as soon as you walk into the house, you are immediately greeted with cleanliness and an open space where people feel welcome. The house had everything we needed for 6 adults. It was right in Abita Springs so we could appreciate what the town had to offer, but a quick drive into Convington if you’re looking for more options. Alex was always quick to respond with communication prior to checking in that we knew exactly what to expect for our stay.

Needed a nice place to stay while attending a family wedding. Alex and Kimberly were super thoughtful and kind. The place was super nice. Super clean. Nice shower. . Nice bbq area… patio….w/ fire pit. Perfect place for an evening campfire.

We are from Mississippi and needed a place to stay for our Son’s wedding in Covington, La. Several family members were able to stay with us and loved the cottage as we did. Nicely decorated and so clean. Alex was great, easily available. We would recommend any to stay in this lovely place.

This location is perfectly close to Abita and also a short drive to Mandeville. This house is perfect and is decorated wonderfully. The host is also amazing. I definitely recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

Had a great rental experience. Came for a girls get away and had a wonderful time! We cooked a few times and were surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was with cookware and dishes for our group of 8. Loved the peaceful property. Enjoyed the smokeless fire pit several nights!

A big thank you to our host and hostess, Alexis and Kimberly. We spent Christmas in Louisiana this year and rented this beautiful home to be near our son and his family . Their home was in a peaceful and private area. Which was very accommodating , the kitchen was fully stocked . I prepared a traditional Christmas dinner and all pots pans and utensil's were at my disposal. The 3 bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. When renting a home TV services can be a bit sketchy along with bad internet service. BUT NOT HERE ! we were able to enjoy a Christmas movie along with viewing our own homes security back in NC. Which took a lot of stress off of us ,nothing worst then being away from home and having bad internet service. You want find that here ! The outside has fire-pit with a large area to side and relax. Beautiful front porch with comfortable sitting rockers. The location was absolutely perfect for us peaceful and quiet, Oh and Alexis and Kimberly provide us with a decorated Christmas tree in the living area as well as one on the front porch. And I thank them from the bottom of my heart, and my grandson was very impressed. I want to thank you both for the time we spent there and we will definitely be back , my God bless and keep you both and your family this New Year !

Oh my goodness, this place has everything a family could need or want. We enjoyed every minute of our time here. There were books and toys for the kids and even a playground area. We had a great evening out at the fire pit. Ample necessities, from dishes to towels and cookware and coffee pot and single cup coffees. It met all of our families needs. Plenty of seating and beds, with extra t throws for sitting by the outside fire. Truly a great experience for our family , Thank you Alexis and Kim for having such a comfortable home .

We stayed here as a family with our 3 children and small dog for Thanksgiving and absolutely loved it. The house has everything you could need. The kitchen has every kitchen appliance, gadget, pot, pan, etc. that you would need to cook with which was perfect for us because we were having our Thanksgiving there. My kids loved the playgound equipment outside and wanted to play outside from the moment their eyes popped open in the morning. They loved sitting by the fireside at night and the hanging lights were dreamy. There is a table outside if you want to have a lovely meal outside. The house was really comfortable. I love the open kitchen and living room. The bathrooms were amazing and super clean. It's a fantastic place to stay with little ones. The house was decorated really beautifully and it had a very cozy feel. To me, it felt like a Hallmark movie. Our dog got out one morning and the owner, Alexis, jumped on his golf cart to help us find her which was super nice. We found her pretty quickly. There are a lot of great places to visit around there - the Abita Brewery, the Mystery Museum, farmer's market on Sundays. We loved it and will book again.

My Family of 6 adults stayed for 3 nights over Thanksgiving. We were very comfortable in this home. Home is close to grocery stores and restuarants in Covington. Beds were comfortable and house was very clean. Would of loved to use the outside fireplace, but it was to rainy. Home is about an hour to downtown New Orleans which was fine for us to spend a day there,

First off, the drive up to the house is cosmetically appealing with the beautiful landscape and inviting full porch. The rental itself is gorgeous. Everything you needed and even things you didn't know you needed were in the house. The beds were uber comfortable and the walk-in shower tub combo is divine. The patio was relaxing with a smokeless fire pit that we used a couple of times during our visit. All of these things I've just mentioned are true and well deserving of the praise I'm bestowing. But if there was anything that could top that is the hospitality of Alexis and Kimberly! They were right next door and Kimberly came over to introduce herself and we all fell in love with her. The next day she brought her husband Alexis over and we fell in love with him to. We prayed, laughed and broke bread with them and I think I speak for our group when I say we came there as guests of Alexis and Kimberly but left as friends. We will tell everyone we know to consider the Cozy Country Cottage when visiting NOLA and the Northshore...we will certainly be returning.

We enjoyed our stayed so much. The house was so spacious, clean and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. It was somewhat secluded but also a short drive into town for groceries, restaurants and other fun activities. We'll definitely be back!
