This was a perfect place for our long weekend! They had everything we needed, the place was clean, nicely decorated and in a great location. The large deck was perfect for sitting with our dog and relaxing. We loved all of the little touches they had for dogs! Our dog loved the dog beds! We will definitely be booking again next time we stay in the New Braunfels area!

We spent a fantastic long weekend here and enjoyed every minute of it. Normally on little trips like this, we'll pop into town for a bit, but between the fishing and the relaxing setting, we felt absolutely no desire to leave (I nearly pulled the biggest catfish of my life out of the creek!) There's plenty of room to spread out, and the kitchen has all the cooking supplies you'll need. The outdoor area is extremely dog-friendly, very capable of keeping them enclosed, but with enough room to run around. The covered deck overlooking the creek was a wonderful setting to hang out, sip some brews, and watch the birds. And yes, the grill works very well. The owners have clearly put a lot of love into this place, and it shows. Five stars all the way.

Great hide away. We were very comfortable- even with the winter freeze. I loved the decor. It matched the homes vibe perfectly. We got to watch the deer across the creek every morning and again in late afternoon. Even our dogs enjoyed it.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here for our wedding anniversary. It was quiet, clean, roomy and comfortable. We hope to come back again in the future.

Great stay for us and our dogs. We enjoyed the well appointed cabin, the spacious deck, and fishing off the floating dock. Our dogs were secure on the deck with the gates and fencing; they loved zooming around the large grassy yard

The family loved staying here over the weekend. Their attention to detail throughout the home and grounds was impeccable and it was so relaxing. I definitely napped in the hammock listening to the creek flow by. It was a beautiful place to unwind!

Off the beaten path; fabulous “extras “ everywhere on the property; safe!

The decks are wonderful and overlooking the creek. Large one is covered, with fans. House is comfy and spacious. Has everything you need. Dogs loved the yard and explored all over. All in all a great time.

I’m writing this with mixed feelings. You can see with how much love the owners have built this place. It’s very unique. Walking in I nearly just walked right out. The property management is good with checking in but they don’t get the little finishing touches. Having had vacation property of my own I know. The throw blankets were not even folded neatly the futon cover was still wrinkled - it gave a feeling that it was just like the last guests left it. The ornaments on the beautiful private deck has not seen a duster, the bbq was so dirty we opted cooking in the oven. As the sheets where a dark moroon I openend it up to see if it was clean. I hope the owners read this. It’s truly a beautiful, peaceful property. Maybe train the property management how you want it cleaned. Crisp clean white sheets and towels goes a long way. If you going to have throw blankets make sure they are washed and neatly folded before the next guest comes. Upon leaving I stripped the bedding and loaded the machine, as well as the dishwasher, I did not put them on incase of malfunctioning. We put all the garbage out as well. As we left I only got the instructions what cleaning we had to do upon leaving and I just thought - what on earth is the cleaning fee for if I’m doing half the work. All in all would I stay here again. Yes I would.

The Creekside Casita was a great vacation spot. Like the other reviews said the dog friendly location was just Awesome! The home owners have thought of everything when it comes to your four legged friend. They added so many gates and fence that you feel extremely safe with your dog. The location is absolutely great and very private. The front yard is massive with lots of space for the dog to run if they wanted to. The dog beds and bowls were a great added touch. The owners provided everything you need for a vacation. I think within a half day we felt so comfortable like we were staying in our own home. My son caught a bass off the floating dock within 5 minutes of arrival. We had not even gone in the house or unloaded one bag and he caught this bass. Both kids caught a lot of fish from that floating dock. So that activity was just awesome. Having the two kayaks and canoe in the garage was just amazing. We took them out and worked our way to the Guadalupe river which was just amazing. The water felt so great and you get a great workout rowing to the river from Long creek. The outside deck with all the chairs, tables, lighting, and the fans were just wonderful as well. It was hot, but when you turned on the fans they brought the heat down a little and kept the mosquitoes and flies off of you while sitting on the deck. I could just keep going on how wonderful our trip was to Creekside Casita. It was so good to get away from the fast pace of work and all the traffic. We can't wait for another opportunity to stay here again!

This house was so cozy and quiet. All of the furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was perfect having everything we needed to prepare our own meals with great outside seating to enjoy. The view on the property was amazing. We will definitely be staying there again.

We loved the cabin and the huge beautiful windows to look out of all day. The decks are nice too with gates to enclose pups or kids. The kitchen is well stocked and the drive into town is easy. The only drawback for us was the extra firm bed on a high platform. Not the best if you’re a side sleeper but we enjoyed our stay and so did our pup Penny.

We were in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay with our dogs. This property is the most dog friendly place that I have ever stayed! And it was very clean!

The property was as advertised. Very clean, quaint and private! We had an issue with the internet and the property managers weren't able to respond quickly so we figured out the issue and resolved on our own. The property said there was a canoe and kayaks for use however when we got there we realized the canoe would need to be carried down several sets of steps and therefore carried back up and it's not a light canoe! We are not spring chickens so we opted against that. This was disappointing since we rented this particular place since it was on the water with access to these activities. One of the bathroom sinks was also clogged so we only used one sink. The bed was excessively firm, which is ok if you like that. I will probably not be revisiting this particular rental.

We had an amazing time here! Everything we could have needed was supplied; kayaks, fishing poles, cornhole, spices, etc. Our dog had a blast running around the fenced yard and porch, and he loved the windows to watch us when he stayed in to cool down! We will definitely be coming back, maybe a yearly visit. Nice break from Cali busy life!

The house is AMAZING! Rustic with modern amenities. Super dog friendly (which we loved and so did our dog!) The deck and backyard are stunning with great views. Tubing, restaurants and stores are just a few miles away. The property manager was very friendly and responsive. We can’t wait to go back!

The outdoor spaces are wonderful! Spent an entire evening on the deck overlooking the creek and watching fireflies then canoed down to the Guadalupe the next morning. The inside spaces are equally lovely with the enormous picture windows and the very dog friendly space. Really appreciate the care and thought that went into the gated areas. Will have this place on our list of homes to book again.

Home was very clean, comfortable, owner left it’s Netflix account signed in so we can watch movies. Great restaurants around the area.

This is a get place if you have 4 legged family members. It was a great getaway. We plan on coming back. Bed sits high and was not comfortable for us but everybody has a Different preference. Kitchen was completely stocked. Love the house layout. Very nice deck sitting overlooking creek. All railing has chicken wire to fence in our fur babies.

We enjoyed our stay here a lot, including the fenced in yard that let our dog roam free. Everything that we needed was provided. The only downside for us was that the house was extremely dark inside, and that the immediate neighborhood was iffy. Many houses are well-maintained but some much less so, for example with 18 wheelers parked on the lawn or mattresses on the driveway.

Upon arrival we were a bit surprised by the location. I knew it was at the end of a street in a neighborhood, but across the creek there are modular homes that you are looking at the backside of them. It might have been more bothersome bc someone was blasting music and painting the back of his house when we got there. Once that was over, the relaxing began. So many wonderful nooks to settle into depending on the sun and time of day. Very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We took the canoe out with our dog and had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

A great little spot to relax: multilevel decks, lots of outdoor space to chill and read, a great big lawn for playing, and a peaceful vibe. Also cool to see decor & pics from around the hole from the world-traveling owners.

This home away from home definitely exceeded our expectations! It is often really hard to find a vacation home that allows pets AND is perfect in every way… but the Creekside Casita fits that description hands down! To begin with, the owners have thought of everything when you bring your pet! It was so nice not having to travel with bowls, beds, stairs, etc! Our little Yorkie is old, blind and suffers periodic bouts of dementia and usually gets really nervous going anywhere new.. but she was just as comfortable as we were! Also, there is so much about the house and the property that I don’t know where to start! The owners thought of everything! It is decorated perfectly, allowing for the best relaxing ambience I have ever experienced! The kitchen is also stocked with anything and everything you would ever need! The furniture and bed are soooo comfortable! And all of the decks! Oh my! I just wish it would have been warm enough and not raining.. so that we could have enjoyed them! I absolutely love the screen room too! In fact, the house is so amazingly comfortable and relaxing that we changed our plans on Sunday and stayed in! The whole house literally rejuvenated our souls! The ONLY thing that would make this even better would be to take out that big ol’ bathtub and put in a huge walk in shower! It’s a little harder for older people to have to climb into a tub/shower combination… but.. it won’t keep us from coming back… we will just have to bring my husband’s cane for balancing… We are actually planning on coming back again in the summer so that we can enjoy the boat and kayaks and make our way into the Guadalupe and do a little exploring and fishing! (And napping on the decks and sunroom)! Hoping to make this home a yearly vacation destination…(even after our fur baby goes over the rainbow bridge!). Also… don’t worry yourself about the drive through the neighborhood.. yes it is run down in numerous areas.. but that is no reflection of what you will find at the end of the road! Vacation Heaven awaits you through the gate! You won’t be disappointed! But.. this is REALLY a house for two adults… if you have two small children.. that would likely work as well.. but don’t think you can have more than two adults.. it just won’t work… but it’s fantastic for one or two! So book it!!! You will fall in love!

As soon as I walked in I noticed I was completely relaxed. This place is wonderful even on a chilly day, thanks to the huge picture windows. It's comfy inside and out! I would highly recommend staying here!
