We had to fight to get our breakfast before 8am... and could then only get it in the room.. bedroom lights did not work, only one lamp in bathroom did work, room was very musty.. not open for a looong time.. not clean, and very hot despite appr 18 degrees outside. had to open the window to the street to get some air.. Disappointing as I have stayed many times before.. now needs some care.. looks wanr down..

Amazing place, super friendly staff. The best treatment for the dogs. We travelled with 2 big dogs, nothing was a problem in Marchanta. They were so happy there...We recommend 100% for travel with dogs and without dogs too.

It was all perfect, more than we expected.

Good location to stop for a night whilst walking the Camino. Beautiful Quinta, immaculately painted in blue and white, with spacious grounds including swimming pool, stables, library, chapel and garden. Loved visiting the wonderful horses! Room was spotless, very comfortable beds, lovely ensuite bathroom. Our room had a balcony overlooking the front of the property and the Tagus. We ate dinner in the restaurant on site, the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and accomodating - we ate a vegetarian meal. Breakfast was included, and was so delicious also; highlight was the scrambled eggs! This is a really lovely place to relax and recharge for a few days, would highly recommend.

The beautiful outstanding farm property. The management Madalena. Very friendly. The horse riding teacher. The friendly doggies.

Had to walk 3K to the nearest Restaurant.

Awesome!!! Directly next to the camino this is the right place to find some energy!
