La verdad que todo nos gustó mucho y el personal muy atento y amable todo el tiempo. Incluso nos dejaron quedarnos en la habitación hasta más tarde de la hora del check out para que nos coincidiera con la hora de irnos al aeropuerto.

La ducha es lo único porque no tenia presión y el agua no salía caliente.

Le resort est très beau, belle piscine, les bungalows sont confortables et parfaitement intégrés dans la nature luxuriante environnante et la responsable May est adorable et fera tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable. ( conseils de sorties, réservation d’Island hopping, location de scooter, réservation de tuk tuk…) Bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez May. Merci pour tout.

La climatisation des bungalows serait à changer car elle est très bruyante.

La Colonial is just the perfect spot in El nido if you want to relax. We just had an amazing stay. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. Always smiling and really attentive to our needs. The food is just the best that we had in El nido, special mention for the chef and JL the waiter. Also, it’s located 15 minutes away from el nido but if you are looking for a quiet and a relaxing spot which is not too crowded we highly recommended it. Rooms are spacious and clean, we also experienced one night in the big suite and it’s just beautiful.

the room is spacious, the staff is super friendly, helpful and kind. and their food is very good too. the dinner we had there was better than all other meals we had in the restaurants downtown.

the location could be inconvenient but if you don't rent a scooter, with almost nothing within walking distance. there is no phone reception, and only wifi in reception/ pool area. maybe they are about the "get off the phone" kind of vibe, but when you have arrangements to make (or even work to do remotely) it could cause some minor troubles.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was free and delicious. The jungle theme was nicely done and the place was cozy. The location itself was 10mins from El Nido town and close to Vanilla beach, all in all it was good.

The misquotes were firece outside so be prepared. There were also a bunch of ants inside our room. We told the receptionist but not much was done about it. The food and drinks were a bit overpriced for an unfinished location.

We had a wonderful experience at La Colonial. The entire staff was very delightful and eager to help - especially Marie and JL made our stay unforgettable. If you rent a scooter, beaches and nice restaurants are a 5-10min trip away. The property itself just had been renovated and has a fantastic charm, the perfect place to unwind. The chef also has great cooking skills, we were pleasantly surprised by all the dishes we tried in the hotel. Thank you! Will definitely recommend it to friends.

Honestly! This is the second best place I've ever stayed at! (Nr 1 was a top floor celebrity suite at the Mirage in Las Vegas, considering that, being second runner up is definitely not bad!) I stayed in the family suite with the balcony/patio overlooking the pool and bar area with my Boo and mother-in-law. The suite, the staff (who felt more like friends and family) and the whole ambiance of the hotel totally exceeded my expectations! Here are 5 things we absolutely adored with Le Colonial 1) Len, Norse (the owner) and the other two girls (I'm sorry, I never learned their name) were so charming and helpful. They went the extra mile to make sure you were comfortable as a guest. They helped you arrange transportation, day-trips and anything else you needed. 2) The rooms were so much more luxurious and cozy than I had expected. The pictures really don't do the facilities justice at all! At ALL. 3) My only concern, before arriving was the fact that the Hotel isn't close to the beach (Vanilla beach is about 2 kms) nor El Nido city (6-7 kms) but that wasn't a problem. The tricycles take you to El-Nido city in 15 minutes and are easily arranged by the staff - they just need a 10 min notice. And the price is relatively fixed (no headache trying to bargain with the drivers!). 4) Valentine's day is not only the day to celebrate love, it's also my hub's birthday and our anniversary and me and my mother-in-law wanted to surprise him which we did, but only thanks to the ladies mentioned above! They were the sweetest, they decorated our whole patio with heart-shaped ballons that I had secretely brought and served our breakfast at the patio. They organised it all early in the morning before any of us was awake. I am amazed by their sense of service! 5) The hotel is quite small with only a few rooms. The lack of crowds and the jungly-vibe gives the hotel a very relaxing atmosphere.

Located 10-15 min from El Nido town by tricycle, this property is definitely what you want when visiting El Nido! Get ready for La Colonial Jungle Resort, by saying goodbye to your phone and internet connection while you stay there, and saying hello to a wonderful stay in a place where you will feel special, at home (away from home) and relaxed! The rooms are spacious, the food was awesome and the staff was just brilliant! The pool makes you want to spend the day there, and you can even play one of the many boardgames they have available near the bar (BTW, don't miss the chance to have one of the freshly made juices at the bar everytime you can). Yes, you'll be a bit further away from the town, you won't have phone reception or internet, the shower doesn't have great pressure and there will be bugs/animals (like everywhere in an island) , but don't forget you're in the jungle and don't let this small details set you back from booking this amazing place! It's definitely worth it! Bikes are available to rent for the day, and a tricycle to town costs about 200 pesos. Thank you La Colonial team for making our stay unforgettable and treating us like royalty and family at the same time! We can't wait to come back!

The rooms and ambience are beautiful and creative. The staff is superb and the dinner and breakfast were the best of our trip! Delicious. Even the welcome drink was one of the best ever ! Had a great nights sleep and plan to return sometime in the future!

At times, the internet was nonexistent, other times (about 50%} it was fine. There were a few crawling insects around , but that is to be expected in such a lush jungle environment. We liked it but the location is a bit out of town.
