Repurposed old building. Job well done. Rooms very nice, clean, well maintained and appointed. Staff was helpful, easy check-in/out. Good parking situation. Walk to restaurants, park, etc.

Room had a strong pet odor.

I like the aesthetic appeal of this hotel and its location provides a great view south toward the lake. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom and decor are very good. I had a room on the top floor so had no noise from adjacent or rooms below. The location is very good - walking distance to nice restaurants and feels safe to leave one's vehicle. The breakfast was very nice.

The initial check-in experience was not particularly friendly, although professional enough. I sometimes get this when arriving by motorcycle but it wasn't the best initial impression I had on this trip.

The trip was ruined by them saying they didn’t have our booking but they managed to give us 2 sub standard rooms and charged us more for them. We had used towels in our room. We overpaid and they still tried to take more money from the card on booking.com even though they said they did not have our booking which resulted in our c card being put on hold which is making it difficult to pay for things whilst we are overseas

Staff was incredible and room was beautiful.

No room service, breakfast just ok. Presents an issue when arriving in the evening.

Lovely building, breakfast was great and staff were lovely.

The bathroom doors were squeaky.

The breakfast was great, nice selection of teas, lovely view. The bedroom was spacious, very comfortable bed, nice linens. The bathroom was well equipped with quality soaps and products, very nice shower. The location was central, with stunning views. I was very impressed with the courthouse architectural details, and the thoughtful conversion to a lovely boutique hotel. The staff was welcoming and accommodating.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, close to the water front for walking. Rooms were large, beds extremely comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Very good value for your money compared to other hotels in Thunder Bay. The history of the building adds to the charm if staying there. And above all pet friendly, which for us who travel with their dogs, extremely important, sometimes I feel like we are punished for our pets, but not here, treated like everyone else, thank you for that.

This us a great hotel located overlooking sleeping giant in Thunder Bay. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was exceptional as was the bedding -- very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was hot and tasty with scrambled egg, bacon and potatoes along with self made breads, cereals, yogourt, fruit, tea and coffee. Sean, the breakfast guy was very friendly and worked hard to keep things in order.

Breakfast was good (eggs and sausage), coffee was cold however. Nice folks running the place, great room.

Location, newly renovated

First issue the curtains were broken and weren't attached to the closing sticks which meant they didn't close all the way and left a foot gap. Second issue issue one of the of the lights bulbs was burnt out at one of the night stands. A minor issue I found would be needing additional power outlets on both night stands. The one power outlet made you sleep to one side to access your cellphone/alarm.
