We loved this house! Fantastic location where we walked into town as well as iconic Steps Beach on a daily basis. The house itself is private, decorated meticulously, and cozy. We felt like we were staying at a friends home instead of a rental. Hope to stay here again!

We loved our stay at Ron's home. Weather was not ideal for our stay so we ended up spending a lot of time at the house - and there was plenty of room for everyone. The bedrooms are generously sized with good storage and there is great seating downstairs for conversation and for meals. Beautiful light, nice to have AC for the 99% humidity days, and great location. You can tell that Ron puts a lot of thought and care into maintaining his home, and we really luxuriated in the benefits of that effort! We hope to stay again next year. 2 points I would highlight for those traveling with a small pet or children: (1) the backyard is enclosed by hedges, not a fence, so dogs and determined children can easily pass through - that said, the hedges provide lovely privacy and we enjoyed our time in the back yard greatly; (2) the walk to town and the beach is not completely on sidewalks - there are some stretches where we had to walk along the side of the road in the grass, which can be challenging if you're pushing a stroller.

Everything was in great condition and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

I was drawn to the listing first because of the excellent location off of Cliff Road within walking to distance to town/beach, and then was impressed with the great photos that showed a charming Nantucket home. The photos don't capture, though, the truly beautiful property it sits on - with a lush green garden in front and in back, and a light filled wonderful house. The bedrooms were all a good size - with really pretty interior design. The house off of Cliff Road provides a great deal of privacy - and all the amenities were great. I loved everything about this home and will absolutely come back to it. Also, the owner could not have been more responsive and helpful before and during our stay. My entire family just loved it!

We enjoyed every minute on Pilgrim Road. The location is perfect for walking to beaches and into town. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. When we return next year this home will again be our first choice!

Our family had a great week at 37 Pilgrim! House is a short bike ride to town and/or car ride to Steps/Jetties beach. Just remember to bring toys/yard games if you have young children. The owner was always very polite and responsive with questions prior to arrival.

37 Pilgrim is truly a gem! It has become our home away from home. Perfect location, very clean, enchanting backyard! Owner extremely gracious and a pleasure to work with. Sad to leave but we will be back!

My family stayed in this home for a week. It was amazing! The home is beautiful. It’s in a perfect location, a mile out of town. We easily walked into town and to Jetties Beach. Anytime I had a question I messaged Ron and he got right back to be. The outside deck is great. My family had all our meals on the deck. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Our time in Nantucket was great!

We stayed at Ron's home for two weeks in July 2019. The home was well appointed for cooking and relaxing on the very private deck and backyard. Steps beach is a short walk or shorter drive with ample parking. We woke up with our 1.5 year old and played on the deck in the morning sun. Then napped. Then spent the afternoon on the beach almost everyday. The house was perfect! You are very close to town a short drive or bike ride. There are plenty of other beaches easily accessible from the location. Thanks Ron!

Hi Ron, we loved the house, as you know we did 2 weeks, split by family one each week. Very quiet setting, all the amenities you could want in a stay away from home. We will consider it again for next summer. On another note, the dishwasher's heating (drying element) not working well especially on upper level, glassware etc, and the clothes dryer also, heating element not so good, need to run extra long to dry. But all in all a wonderful stay in Nantucket. Best, Clare

Cannot say enough good things about the property. My family of 5 (three kids, 14, 12 and 10) stayed in June 2018...it was our first trip to the island. Great location, house is convenient to town and Steps and Jetties beaches....easy to take bikes to either or a short Uber ride away. Very private lot. Home is very well appointed with everything you need if you decide to eat-in instead of going out. The separate bedroom downstairs was perfect for our older kids to escape to their own space. Owner was very attentive and responsive to questions. An amazing property that is the perfect home-base for your stay on the island.

We stayed at 37 Pilgrim for a week at the very end of August , a family of four with two teenaged boys. Even though the weather wasn't always cooperating, it was one of our best vacations and the house had a lot to do with it. It felt like staying at a friend's house rather than a rental. Everything was so well thought through and meticulously cared for: the bright sunny rooms, the comfortable beds, the entertainment center, the kitchen stocked for a serious cook (I was particularly impressed with the sharp knives), and the crown jewel - the deck. As others have commented, the location of the house can't be beat - walking distance to the beach and to town. We didn't bring a car and we didn't miss it. The owner and the caretakers were very responsive and went out of their way to make our stay worry free. We can't wait to come back.

We have been coming to Nantucket for 20 years and have stayed all over the island. This is a jewel of a house. It is extremely well cared for -- everything is buff, in the right place and thought through. Setting and landscape, with a glorious shell driveway entrance, is attractive. Location is just far enough from town to be out of the commotion but close enough for a quick bike ride. Steps beach is a 3 minute bike ride away. Central air was nice and is not to be under-appreciated I must say -- even on an island. The kitchen is well stocked and the seating area is comfortable, both inside and on the back deck.

We have rented several times at great in town homes and 37 Pilgrim is tops among our terrific choices over the years. The house is immecibly cared for and the owner and his staff work very hard to make your stay perfecto. Location is a nice walk to town and steps from the running and biking path and Steps Beach for the best sunsets on the island. We enjoyed hosting friends for dinner because the house has so much to offer with inviting grounds, great kitchen, quaint deck and beautiful family room equipped with state of the art technology. Every room is warmly appointed and follows throughout. So charming and very private. Already booked two weeks for 2017.

We really enjoyed the house and had a wonderful time. The setting is very private and the fenced-in back yard is perfect for children, grilling out and relaxing. The location is also great - it's a short walk to Steps Beach, Something Natural and town. Highly recommended.
