A really nice, cozy and welcoming old school guest house, authentic, easy to reach and near the city center. Really available and kind hosts, sociable and funny, the INCLUDED BREAKFAST is amazing, plentiful, tasty and so good!

Cooked breakfast cooked to perfection both mornings. Pleasantly surprised that there was a microwave, small fridge, iron and ironing board in room.

I found bed quite hard and would have preferred en suite but did have own bathroom.

Lovely, homely guest house. So close to the centre of town and all amenities. Angela and her husband couldn't do more for you. So helpful and accommodating. Comfortable room and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

Angela, the host was friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect for what I needed it for. A brief, but comfortable stay when I was at a wedding in town. The breakfast was AMAZING!!

This guesthouse is about 2 minutes walk from the High St and 5 mins walk from the bus station. It has a very spacious entrance hall and is decorated to a high standard. The rooms are clean and comfortable with access to kettle, microwave and fridge with fresh milk. It serves a delicious breakfast with more tea/coffee/toast if required. You are guaranteed a warm, friendly welcome from the lovely Hostess who is very knowledgeable on local history.

Communication from Angela was excellent prior to our trip and we were made very welcome on arrival. Angela and Rick run a lovely guest house and Riley, the dog, likes to say hi. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bedding and towels were high quality. There was plenty of tea, coffee, water and fresh milk available all day and the shortbread in our room every day was a nice touch. There was an excellent choice available at breakfast and the fresh cooked food was lovely.
