Lilly was an absolute delight from start to finish, couldn’t be anymore accommodating. Definitely be back.

The breakfast was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was amazing. Everywhere was extremely clean. We had a wonderful stay. Undoubtedly we will return.

Stayed for a family party, room was lovely very comfortable

No one at reception on arrival. Very very annoyed to say that we were kept up all night long with drunken people trying to get into our room and knocking on our door. This did not stop until just before check out, for £130 per night I do not expect to not sleep for any time of my stay and for staff not to do anything about the disruption. Following on from this they continued to make a scene in the reception and the hole way through breakfast; arguing, shouting and using expletives very loudly - this was very unsettling and frankly ruined every single part of my trip - again staff did nothing to stop this.

seemed to be short staffed, breakfast not prepared for continental in morning, room was tired and things broken/not working, windows could not be locked. No book in room on facilities or description.

The room that I was given did not match the pictures or description on the website. The walls were paper thin, I could hear the guy next doors conversation like he was sitting right next to me. The rooms were tired, dated and not clean. I did request to be moved to another room that didn't have any neighbouring guests which was granted. This room had a blackbirds nest in the roof so I could hear scratching and flapping all night.

Beautiful period building in gorgeous grounds. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was ok but the bathroom was a little dated and the lack of any shelving for toiletries was inconvenient.

Room was cold when we arrived but got warmer gradually. Sunday lunch was disappointing because the roast beef was quite tough. We commented to two members of staff but no apology was offered. Our dog was happy though because we took the meat home for her.
