Spectacular home. Located at top of mountain. A very spacious and comfortable home which accommodated our whole family of 10. Fantastic kitchen and pool with the most incredible views of Napa. This home is a must. Just know that winding narrow roads for vehicles. Suggest smaller vehicles and no evening driving as dark roads.

This house is beautiful and fully stocked. It’s up in the hills and 30min from town. Once you get to the top it has beautiful views. We did find it a bit windy at the house but that didn’t stop everyone from enjoying the pool. You do have to pay a extra charge to heat the pool. We really enjoyed having all of the family stay together at such a beautiful location. Very relaxing

I just checked out from an incredible stay in Monica’s home. The home was not only immaculate but warm and inviting and perfect for a large group. The doors open up into an easy flowing kitchen, pool, and outdoor dining space. We spent majority of our time outside enjoying the views that were exceptional. The fire pits were perfect for at night when it gets chilly along with the spa. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals. This is by far the best house I’ve stayed in and will absolutely be back. The only thing to mention is the drive up the mountain is a good 15 minutes and 30 minutes to town. We had quite a few people getting car sick so be aware when booking. Otherwise there isn’t a single negative I can think of.

We came here for a friends birthday for wine tasting, great food and laughs and the house made the trip even more unforgettable. Stunning views, high ceilings, great rooms with comfortable beds, incredible chef’s kitchen. This was perfection. Already trying to come up with another reason to come back

We rented Monica's estate for a small retreat with clients and had a fantastic time. The home and views are beautiful. Monica and Ivan made the check-in/out process extremely smooth and checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. The highlight of the trip was the private dinner with Chef Patrick at the house. Couldn't recommend enough! Garrett

This is a lovely, private, mountain estate. All of the suites are luxury for your guests and the rooms are extremely spacious but still warm feeling with many fireplaces throughout. The kitchen is perfect for multiple people foraging at the same time or a professional chef’s preparation. The hot tub and infinity edge pool overlook a stunning view.

We rented this beautiful property for a milestone birthday celebration for five couples for four nights in September. To say that if far exceeded our expectations is an understatement. The house is situated on the crest of the mountain and has sweeping views of the hills and vineyards in the valleys below. The pictures really don’t convey the grandeur of the space or the attention to detail in decorating. The house is built for entertaining, and with five couples, we still had plenty of room to spare. The layout provided privacy at night with huge entertaining spaces in the living room, great room and the beautiful outdoor entertaining spaces. We ate outdoors on two of the three nights that we had dinner on property and marveled at how much space we had to stretch out. The firepits were super fun for socializing, and given the house’s orientation, you have one outdoor space to enjoy the sunrise and another to enjoy the sunset. The infinity edge pool provides magnificent views of the valley and hills, and the integrated hot tub is a great place to unwind at night. The resources provided by Monica the owner were outstanding. We used her recommendations for limo service to visit the wineries, and also an on-site yoga class. But the highlight of the trip was definitely having Chef Patrick and his team come on site one night and prepare a multi-course birthday dinner! It was truly a turnkey operation, the food they prepared was exceptional, and to top it off they were so fun to talk to and took great care of us! Our guests still talk about it. Finally, the caretaker for the estate was outstanding and truly keeps the property in tip top shape. Our only regret is that we did not spend more time enjoying the property and less time visiting wineries. We will definitely be back and look forward to spending more time here.

Our stay could not have been any better than advertised and in fact exceeded my expectations for our executive retreat. The property owner and staff were amazing to work with throughout the process and up until leaving the property they were quick to respond and very helpful in all of my requests along the way. The house and grounds were gorgeous and the views of Napa Valley were extraordinary. Just an amazing experience all the way around.

Great property with amazing views. The owner was awesome . On top of everything and full of valuable information. We were 11 people and there was plenty of space for all of us without being on top of each other. Would definitely stay there again.

This house is absolutely amazing. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. From the expansive pool to the huge grassy area you will not be disappointed. We traveled with adults and kids and everyone had a blast. The movie theatre and huge game room was a hit with the kids. The adults were able to lounge in so many different areas over our 4 day stay. We had their incredible chef cook one of our meals and it was fantastic. Monica and her team are excellent at communicating the entire time. It’s a bit of a steep windy road to get to the house but you don’t get the amazing views without that. We would love to return to this property in the future.

My group of ten - five couples - stayed for five nights, and everyone of us thought this was a trip of a lifetime. The views are stunning; one side of the house for coffee in the morning and the other for poolside cocktails and wine in the evening. The property is large enough that it easily houses five couples; if one wanted to get private time and be separate from everyone else, that is no problem here, as there many many separate seating areas where you see or hear no one. We had two private dinners cooked by Chef Patrick at Shackford's. We highly recommend that. For other nights, highly recommend planning to cook dinner in in the spacious kitchen and grill area to enjoy every sunset on the property. (In addition, this dinner planning will allow you to avoid navigating the steep winding road to the house at night-time.) Can't say enough about this great property and location; we will be back!

Our group travels together every year or two and focuses on renting beautiful large homes to use as a base to catch up and share time together while also exploring a region. This home is perfect for that. It is large, extremely well appointed, has amazing views and welcomes you so that you almost never want to leave! The owner was very helpful and easy to deal with, as was the property manager who welcomed us at arrival. They made it easy to settle in and navigate the property and provided great references for a chef to look after us as well as other service providers who would come on site (e.g., yoga, personal training, etc.). The small price to pay for all this is that you do have a rather long, windy drive to get anywhere, so plan your outings strategically! All in all, though, a brilliant week.

Overall, the property was absolutely beautiful! We had 14 adults fit comfortably in this massive, well laid out property. The owner was super responsive and so helpful throughout the process. While the owner did tell us the property was remote, that is an understatement. We had a bus service and Ubers pick up our large party and it took them an extra 30 mins to get to the location. In addition, heating the pool is an additional $250/day. Make sure you let the owner know in advance as it take 24-48 hours for the pool to heat up. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and beautiful home. I would recommend this location to large groups that don't mind being remote.

By far the most amazing rental ever! From beginning to end the entire experience was wonderful. This home feels like you are sitting on top of the world. I cannot say enough about the interior and exterior of this property!! STUNNING My only wish was that I did not have to leave! If you choose this property you will not be disappointed.

This property was perfect for our family to relax cook and just enjoy Northern California! The property was amazing from every view, the decor was exquisite and the kitchen was a joy to work in… Not only would I highly recommend this property but we look forward to when we can visit again!

Straight out of a movie. House was spectacular in every sense - design, cleanliness, the views, the furniture, the entertainment options - amazing.

This Reserve property is magical. Absolutely stunning and the photos do not do it justice. On arrival we were greeted by the house manager who had opened the house, had the fireplaces both going and showed us the layout and details of the beautiful home. The house is nicely equipped from Sonos, TVs, media room, linens, condiments, and a wonderful gourmet kitchen. The owner of the home was in communication with me to make sure everything went well. We could not have asked for a more special property. It is important to know you are at the top of a mountain, where the views are expansive and impressive, so this is not a home that you will want to take many day trips from. It is 25 minutes from town but we thought it was perfect in every way. We did hire a driver one day to take an all day adventure and hired the" house recommended chef." You will want to hire him with certainty- Patrick is talented & delightful and our evening was most special. Don't hesitate to stay at this lovely estate-it is so memorable!

The magic of California with a feeling of italy. This place is special with every bell and whistle one could want in a stay. The isolation, the Natural beauty, the touch of history and touch of modern, the pool, the pool, the pool. Our family had an amazing time celebrating Thanskgiving here. We didn’t want to leave! The property manager was very communicative before and as we left. The trip was perfect. We can’t wait to stay here again. It’s special.

This property is amazing! I had my family and friends stay before and after my daughters wedding. It was wonderful. The kitchen was nicely stocked, the dining area was perfect, the living room area was large enough to accommodate the majority of us, and the game room was a blast. This house exceeded our already sky-high expectations. I would say that the outdoor photos of this property do not do it justice. The property is at the top of a very large hill / mountain (beware if you are expecting to go on runs from the house!) and has fantastic views in both directions. The sun rises on the lawn side of the house, and sets over the infinity pool. There are seemingly endless outdoor areas to eat, lounge, and hang out. Every single bedroom is massive - even the "small" ones. The kitchen was a dream to be able to use, and had every cooking utensil or accessory we could've needed. The bathrooms were beautiful. The game room downstairs was very fun. The grill and bocce courts were very fun, as was the pool/hot tub. I truly can't say enough about how lovely this house was! Did I mention how absolutely incredible the views were? I would say the ONLY downside is that the house is that it is pretty remote, so if you're only staying for a weekend, try to buy all groceries/drinks before you arrive. It would've been a shame to spend even an hour away from this house getting groceries, since we want to savor every second of it. And then finally, the last 20 minutes of the drive to the house are on windy roads, so beware of carsickness. Finally, I think the property management of this property was stellar. They were very communicative, sent us lots of information, and showed us around the property when we arrived (and were flexible on timing). Overall, we all give this property a 15/10, and we're all trying to figure out how we can come back as soon as possible. Thank you Monica and team!!

We brought 5 couples out for a week to celebrate some big birthdays and anniversaries and we had the most amazing week. The views are spectacular and endless. We enjoyed gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Monica was incredible to work with as was her staff. We will be back!

The views of this home are surreal, and the home itself is equally beautiful and well appointed. The caretaker of the house is friendly, accessible and responsive. We used the concierge and Chef as well who put on an unforgettable evening/ meal for us at the house. You will not be bored with all of the amenities… a full game room and a bocce ball court overlooking the mountain… as if the infinity pool and hot tub views aren’t enough to captivate for your entire stay! We will be back!

This was a perfect location for a family getaway. Having a property with bathrooms attached to each room was a plus. The bonus game room full of toys and Legos was the ultimate bonus for our 4 year old. We spent our days in the pool and nights playing games or watching movies. We had an amazing time. The house was clean, kitchen had everything we needed and everyone had an excellent time. We picked up groceries before we checked in and didn’t need to leave for 6 days! Highly recommend.

I can’t saw enough wonderful things about this property. We had the best time and were so thankful for such a generous and kind Host. The chef they recommended was absolutely fabulous. 10 out 10 stars all around!
