We loved Casa Bell. Our stay was wonderful. The views of the Sea of Cortez and the mountains were spectacular. Sunrise and moonrise over the sea were beautiful. We enjoyed all the outdoor sitting options. Kayaks and paddle boards were fun. Loved being able to open all the windows to let the sea breezes in. Beds were very comfortable. Gracias

Nice property

Assess to town was walkable, and staying in was nice too. With a sheltered courtyard and pool. Beds were comfortable and of high quality. All the extra touches that made this feel like a home away from home are here. We will most definitely be back. It was a great place for a chill vacation!

The property and location were amazing! We had a great time. Only negative I can say is the WiFi is non existent and the cell service is so so. So needless to say I did not get much work done, but the tequila flowed just fine.

We had a relaxing vacation at Casa Bell. The house is very nice, comfortable beds, nice linens and towels. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing everyday. We enjoyed Loreto and Casa Bell .

Love this property and location

We loved staying at this property! It was perfect distance to town and a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The courtyard and the house were beautiful and well kept. The check in process was very easy and communication with the owner was quick and clear. The views are incredible! We would definitely stay here again.

Casa Bell absolutely lived up to its reputation. The property is perfect! Waking up to the beautiful sunrises each morning and sitting out on the patio as the sun sets was spectacular. It was a joy to be able to meet Casa Bell's host, Gretchen. She is welcoming and very helpful in answering any questions and helping with any arrangements/recommendations you might need. Gretchen has thought of just about everything you will want and need to enjoy your stay. A well equipped kitchen and house. The surrounding property is private, and includes a pool and a beautiful outdoor living area for more holiday enjoyment. Gretchen hooked us up with an amazing boat captain, Noa for a day visit out to the island. Noa was excellent! Since we were getting around without a car, Kristin found us an excellent and trusted driver, Rego, who was there for us the whole week. He gave us little tours along the way as well. We highly recommend a trip out to the end of the road to Picazon and spending some time with owner operator, Diego. Great food and a fun experience. We had a wonderful first trip to Loreto thanks to Casa Bell and we will return without a doubt! A great way to get away from the world! Gracias, Casa Bell and Gretchen!

The property is first rate. The kitchen is well equipped. The owner, Gretchen is a great communicator and a very helpful resource. She has thought of just about everything you will want and need to enjoy your stay. A car is necessary to explore Loreto. If you enjoy hanging out, spending time with loved ones, walking or jogging a beach, eating very good authentic Mexican food/ seafood/ pizza this is the place for you. BTW there are a number of relatively deserted beaches South of town with good seashells. Just wear shoes in the water and watch for a rare scorpion fish!

We were so happy with our decision to stay at this location. Everything was perfect and it was super close and convenient to town, but just far enough away to be quiet at night and peaceful during the day. We did have a car, which I would highly recommend for the area in general, but even walking to town would not be bad. The casita was spacious, full of light, and well cared for. The bed was comfortable and we loved waking up to the gorgeous sunrise and ocean view each morning. The pool towels, beach chairs, coolers, etc all came in handy for our day trips for fishing and sightseeing. Gretchen was even able to help my husband line up a last minute fishing excursion. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a fantastic vacation spot!

We stayed 7 days and loved every minute of it. It was everything they said it was and more. Would totally stay there again.

Beautiful space to be in on vacation

My husband and I stayed at CasaBell for 4 weeks. We had a wonderful experience. The casita and overall property have everything. We used the paddle boards and kayaks often. Walking to town on the beach became an every morning event. We loved learning about Loreto and surrounding areas. Fishing with Capt. Jorge was awesome. Lots of yellowtail and Pargo. Gretchen was amazing. Great communications. We will be back. Thank you!

We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Casa Bell was impeccably maintained. Bedding was comfortable, kitchen had everything you could need, plentiful towels and the furnishings were tastefully done. The walk to town on the beach took us closer to 30 minutes. We did not use the pool. It was cool during our stay. Would most definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

A perfect location on the beach with beautiful views in all directions. The casita is very comfortable with a pleasant courtyard with a pool and outdoor fireplace. First rate in every way.

Appreciated Prompt responses to my questions, good communication with Gretchen . Property was very nice, great access to beach. Pool is not heated, so wasn’t able to enjoy. Would be okay if it were warmer temps.

We spent 7 nights at this property and were very satisfied with the casita. The beds were comfortable, the TV channel selection was good, and the kitchen was well stocked. It is a 15 minute walk to the start of the Malecon and about 25-30 minutes to the plaza where many of the restaurants are located. A car (or bicycles) is a good idea for this location.

Such a lovely casita! Our stay was wonderful and the overall experience top notch! I already miss the peaceful mornings paddling on the sea…

We all felt so happy, welcomed and well situated at Gretchen beautiful VRBO. What an ideal spot. The beach, the view, the perfectly stocked and lovely rental, great hostess, all was just great!!! Hope to return before too long!!

My wife and I stayed for 14 days and it was perfect for our lifestyle. We enjoyed the walks on the beach, swimming in the sea of Cortez, or just lounging by the pool. It was quiet and peaceful. We rented a car and explored beaches to the north and south and took in a few of the restaurants around the area. Although most of our meals were prepared at home, we found some amazing places to eat. Thanks Gretchen for giving us a chance to enjoy a little piece of perfection. Conrad and Tami

This was such an incredible welcome to Loreto. The property has everything you need, including a well-appointed kitchen - a rarity in a VRBO, really comfortable beds, and an amazing view of the Sea of Cortez. Gretchen and Rick are attentive (but not too attentive) hosts who are friendly, responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Casa Bell is the perfect place to stay while in Loreto. The casita is stunning in a quiet location yet minutes away from the attractions of town. Gretchen has thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay comfortable with all the conveniences of home. Waking up to gorgeous sunrises from the east facing windows to enjoying spectacular sunsets from the west facing windows reminds you that you truly are in paradise. The weather was unusually cold during our stay so weren't able to enjoy all the water activities that the area has to offer but we still had no trouble filling our time. We visited San Javier Mission, hiked Mesquite Canyon and explored the oh so charming town. We are already planning our return and will stay at Casa Bell!!! Thank you Gretchen and please give the pups some scratches from us!!!!

My fiance and I spent 3 nights at Gretchen's place in Loreto. This was our second visit to the area in nearly as many months- that's how great a town it is. While there, we had all that we needed- most importantly, beautiful views of the Sea of Cortez- and knew that Gretchen was nearby should we have a question. Right now I am missing I miss the picture-perfect scenery from the king-sized bed...from the patio table...from the kitchen window- pretty much from anywhere on this property. Gotta get back to Loreto! Thank you, Gretchen, for your flexibility with our dates and for a lovely stay.

Casa de Bell is absolutely gorgeous! The property itself and the landscaping is wonderful. it’s a great spot on the beach, short walk on the beach to town or a quick and cheap taxi taxi home. Gretchen and Rick make you feel like you’re one of the family, you have a giant courtyard with a pool that’s gorgeous. Gretchen also has a friend who will go and get groceries and what have you and stock the place before you get there. Gretchen is also extremely helpful at telling you about places to eat and go out and have drinks and during these Covid times, information on how to get tested before you leave. We can’t say enough about Casa de Bell I would recommend this to anyone!

Property was well kept and clean, Gretchen was a very hospitable host and had great suggestions for adventures. This is a wonderful place to enjoy what Loreto has to offer.

We loved how Loreto downtown is only a 20 minute walk down the beach from the house. We enjoyed the Casita, king bed was very comfortable. We didn’t watch much TV but falling asleep to a movie was fun for us. Played golf at Danzante which was awesome. It was our first time to Loreto, and it’s now out favorite sleepy Mexican town.
