I suggested this property for our girls weekend because my sister rented this property Nov. 2021, and I thought it would accommodate. This property did accommodate and everyone enjoyed the home. However, there were a few things that were an issue -hence the reason why I didn’t give this home 5 stars. First, one of the toilets did not flush during our stay. I messaged property manager early the next day and never received a call back the rest of our stay. This was very important inconvenient as it was 11 women with only two toilets. Secondly. You could tell the home had not been throughly cleaned because countertops, baseboards, floors were visibly dirty and stained. Additionally, the rooms downstairs were closed cold with only 2 additional space heaters. Lastly, while there were many beds to accommodate they were not comfortable. Most woke up complaining about the beds and with aches and pains. Overall our stay was decent, but it wasn’t as I remembered in 2021 otherwise I would have searched for new home.

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday at the house. It was too cold to enjoy the property, but the lake sure is beautiful!

The house was the perfect size and the location was perfect! The view was so beautiful! Sara was very attentive and quick to respond! Highly recommend!

Was pretty spacious. House is far away From the city and can be pretty dark and unrecognizable at night. Very nice inside and had enough space for me and my guest.

It was delightful! We loved having multiple generations and family together watching cousins meet for the first time and making memories….all while being close to the wedding venue of our niece. Thank you!

House was very spacious and clean. The balcony was the highlight for our group. We also stayed out by the pond for a few hours a couple days. The beds were very hard even after we all went out and bought mattress pads. Other than not getting a good night’s rest, we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was great, and Sara was a great host with quick responses to our needs. The only thing that didn't work super well for us was that the kitchen/cookware/dishes/appliances can probably serve a group of 8 max, whereas we had more people with that, and the cabin sleeps more than that. We did bring some of our own large pots/pans/supplies which made it work fine. We really really enjoyed the huge back porch and basically lived out there for our long weekend.

Beds were not great and come a part easy. There is a pest problem and an alligator in the lake.

The stay was okay. What really bothered me is the amount of excessive fees this property charges. Its dated and needs to consider decreasing the number of sleepy quarters in relation to the # of bathrooms. This property is advertised as sleeping "20" but anything over 4 people is an additional charge of $19pp tax. An additional charge ($150.00) for excess trash well like I stated its advertised as sleeps 20 so anything over 2 people would yield additional trash. The grounds/ lake are nice, interior is dated. Garbage disposal kept getting clogged and there was no "Crank" available to unclog it. Communication took place the MORNING OF check - in via VRBO messaging app. I tried reaching the property manger weeks prior however the numbers were disconnected, myself nor VRBO get in touch with them.

We had a great stay at this place. All of my friends loved the place and the view. My dog had a great time as well.

The scenery and size of the house was amazing. We used it for our small wedding ceremony (along with family staying) and everyone was pleased and enjoyed it. The sunset from the balcony alone could have sold the home. The home needed a few repairs/some upkeep and we had some small issues. The air upstairs did not work well and stayed around 76degress during the day (downstairs cooled well), also the house hadn’t been dusted or mopped in quite awhile it seemed, we had to go get a swifter and do this on our own. Issues we were able to work around or work through. Overall, amazing place. We would definitely book again. The owner was pretty good with communication for the most part. If you’re questioning it, just do it. I’m sure you will enjoy it as much as we did!

Great space inside and out especially the outdoors enough space for the kids and adults. The main living room sofa did have damage to it but it was another sofa to accommodate everyone on the first and second floor. Any other issues were small and questions was answered and the stay was back to normal.

The property is beautiful we love everything about it we’ll definitely be back thank you for everything .

We stayed over a holiday weekend and had a wonderful time. Large house with plenty of open living spaces. Room for the whole family. Clean house, great outdoor spaces too!

This Lakehouse was a very pleasurable and memorable experience for my friends and family! Also, working with Sara was painless and very friendly. I had a group of ten people, and this home had more than enough room for us all. Spacious, clean, well-furnished, firewood available, coffee pot, all kitchen appliances, etc — it was basically like a home away from home! The lake was peaceful with a spacious back yard. The neighborhood was very quiet and out of the way. We enjoyed being 15-20 minutes outside of the city of Atlanta. The short commute was easy and the highway was easily assessable as well. If you’re looking for a very nice getaway in the Atlanta area, I HIGHLY recommend this location!- DeVanté S.

The home is immaculate especially if you are looking for a peaceful and serene getaway to spend family time with lots of space. The pandemic has shut us off from those we love for so long so we welcomed this time spent. Unfortunately I didn't receive the key code until I arrived by contacting the owner, so I didn't have immediate access. The wifi code in the home is incorrect. I did have to contact the owner the following day for it which is when I received the house rules. The owner does respond in a timely manner which is appreciated so I would just make sure to contact owner the morning of. To piggyback off a previous review that I agree with although I brought my own are:*Tissue and paper towels (bring your own)* Towels, blankets-winter months( bring your own)*Beds are firm(fine by me) others may bring there own egg crates.*Living Room couch, dining table, hardwood floors could be updated. Also, let guests know any flaws prior, so guest know if damage was done prior to arrival, like couch being bent out of shape. *Trash bins were full on arrival so I would definitely make sure they are emptied for next guests and more tops for trash bins are needed and space.*Update the broom and mop, also make note of where things are located & what you have in the house prior to arrival.Otherwise the place is beautiful, was pleasant, has plenty of space, I would stay again and recommend to friends and family. All guest please take care of the owners property because you can tell that they try to keep the interior and exterior maintained nicely!

House was very spacious and had beautiful views of the lake. Our family had plenty of room. We played outside games during the day and inside games after dark. I would highly recommend this place for large family gatherings.

Overall, the place was in a peaceful serene location. The check in process was a bit much as we waited 45 minutes to an hour to actually get inside the place. However, the owner communicated with us through the process and sent someone out to fix the door lock. Some things to note: 1) needed more tissue for the place 2) more linens & towels 3) beds were a little firm (may need egg crates for a little more comfort) 4) couldn’t use the firepit (would’ve came out of pocket to purchase tank to start firepit).5) One end of the couch was bent like out of place. 6) need more space for trash outside (Trash bins with tops) 7) had to purchase an industrial style broom for sweeping.(The broom at the place was bent out of shape.) The place is beautiful and has plenty of space. Great for intimate events.
