Loved our stay. The house is beautiful and so close to the ocean. A fantastic getaway.

This 12 night booking was our second stay here with an extended family group and everyone loved it. The house is sparkling clean and so comfortable and the Cafes of Port Fairy are within comfortable walking distance. WIth so many little touches Joe and Julie are wonderful, thoughtfull hosts and their property 'Restus on South' certainly lives up to it's name. Watching the waves roll in never gets old, whether from the balcony, deck or inside.

Restus is an amazing property with Ocean views and access. The owner and host has done an amazing job in creating a perfect getaway with luxury finishes with an impeccable attention to detail. An absolute must stay if visiting Port Fairy.

Restus is spacious and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed and more. Julie was a fantastic host. She was super accommodating and went out of her way to make us welcome. Highly recommend.

The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable with sparkling presentation. The location is ideal with safe bathing beaches only a few minutes’ walk away. Town is a little further (I can recommend hiring some bikes from the Surf shop on Bank Street – very reasonable). The two living areas really makes the house very versatile, easily accommodating our two families with teenagers. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds are and how luxurious the place felt. Hosts Julie and Joe made our whole experience seamless with their prompt communication and thoughtful inclusions. We stayed a week and never tired of the view upstairs day or night, and the view downstairs isn’t too shabby either! Leaving was hard but we were consoled in the knowledge that we had already managed to book it for next year!

The property was very clean, spacious and with a fantastic view of the beach. Our stay was for 4 days with 2 teen kids, and the place was well and truly big enough for the 4 of us. Heating worked well, as it was needed for the July stay, and thanks to the owners for the prompt reply in regards to how to switch it on... I just needed patients!. Thanks for a great stay!

Great house. Modern. Comfortable. Immaculately presented. Very well equipped throughout. Well furnished. Wonderfully dressed with beachside themes. Was a little taken aback that house was 1 block back from the water and view of the waves was a little blocked by houses in front - this was most likely more to do with me not picking up on that from the listing. The views were still sensational from the upstairs living area where we spent most of our time. Owner was a pleasure to deal with - prompt, accomodating, friendly. I would DEFINITELY stay here again and would recommend it to friends. It's probably the best presented holiday house I've stayed in over the years. Rate it very highly.

Property was ok however not as clean as should be. Shower screens had marks throughout glass. Remote for both tv and air conditioner not working as batteries flat and no spares left. I was staying with my mother who is terminally ill and at 5pm after a 3.5 hour drive the day before she was very tired. That was when the lawn was mowed for an hour. My mother asked the man why he was mowing in the weekend when property was booked and she was verbally abused for her efforts. The maintenance man who we discovered lived next door then proceeded to play his music extremely loud and banging into the bedroom walls the entire weekend we were there. We ended up leaving early due to my mother’s poor health and inability to rest due to noise. Extremely disappointing as this was a weekend to spend precious time with a dying woman.

My family and I stayed for 2nights at Restus on South and everything was perfect! The home was immaculate with amazing facilities. We will definitely be back and recommending to our friends. Thankyou so much for a wonderful short break.

We loved Restus on South; it was extremely well equipped, and everything was of good quality. The art was real, the crockery and glassware are nice, the bed was excellent, the shower is excellent, the towels were good, the soaps are nice, there is a coffee machine and enough coffee pods for mornings. Its as clean as a whistle, the hosts are super helpful and lovely ... we will stay again for sure! Port Fairy itself is delightful and friendly. 5 stars all around :)

What an amazing property! The property has over catered for groups of 10, plenty of space to just hang out and watch the waves roll in! Great Location in a quiet street, with plenty of off street parking. Thank you, we will certainly re book this property again

We loved this house! Highly recommend for multiple families. There is heaps of space, and great location. I am always impressed when a kitchen is better equipped than my own at home!! It was also spotless, and very well maintained. Thank you!

I found the booking website a little difficult to navigate. However once the booking was secured the whole process was very easy. Julie was available to answer any queries and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The house is stunning and presented so beautifully... we are really grateful to have had the opportunity to stay in this lovely home!

it was the same as the pictues on the web site were we booked everything was so lovely nice walk into town so close to the beach and just nice and relaxing.
