Very happy with this stay it was great for a group of 11 women

Josh’s home was an ideal choice for our family gathering of 9 adults and 2 dogs. It was in a perfect location for walking to the lake, LP Brewery, into town and enjoying everything that Lake Placid has to offer. It was well equipped and very clean. I honestly didn’t want to leave. We spent much of our time on the spacious front porch, enjoying the view and the neighborhood. I highly recommend Josh’s place for a large group and hope to return one day.

This home away from home had everything we needed. The bathroom was newly redone & the kitchen had plenty of space for us. Very conveniently located to the Olympic Arena. We would highly recommend staying here (instead of hotel) if you like having your own room - 6 bedrooms were more than enough for our two families. Slept great!

We rented the house for a week and had a great time in Lake Placid. The house is close to everything. Well stocked and well taken care of. Everything was clean when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the group and the listing matched the house well.

We loved the house and location. Town was beautiful. We thought there was supposed to be a hot tub but there was not. Overall we loved the stay!

Great location near Main Street ...playground nearby. Olympic museum and ski jump great

House is clean and kitchen is well stocked. Host is attentive and accommodating. Location is close to restaurants and shops. Will definitely recommend this house.

We had a nice time at lake placid for New Year’s Eve.

We had a blast. The location was perfect and everything was as advertised. We got there during a snow event and they had everything shoveled and plowed. I would recommend this property to anyone.

We had to rebook our stay due to family members having covid, so I cannot comment on the house. I can say that Josh is an excellent host and was extremely accommodating, understanding, responsive and easy to work with. Our family is looking forward to our upcoming stay in his home.

This house is conveniently located to Main st. Restaurants, shops, beach are all within walking distant. The house is well stocked and the owner is very responsive to questions. I would not hesitate to go back especially when traveling with a large group.

This is overall a good property that has an excellent location. We stayed here with 8 adults and 2 pre-teens and everyone had a good time. I rated this 4 stars but would do 4.5 stars if that were an option. Only real issues were (1) the house is a bit dated, especially the upstairs bathroom with a crazy loud fan and cabinet doors falling off in the kitchen, (2) a construction zone next door that started up at 7am that woke everyone, and (3) no A/C which made the house a sweat locker for a couple days when it was 90 plus outside. We still had fun and would go back.

Great property for our large group who came up for the Ironman. The house has plenty of space and is quiet! Great location - walkable to beach and town. Perfect for Ironman viewing - a great home base while cheering on your athlete. Josh was also very helpful with any questions. Definitely recommend.

We were here to attend a memorial for my beloved ex-husband. The house provided us with the opportunity to all be together. Weather was perfect, host was totally responsive. Thank you, Josh!

The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of the Main Street and great attractions. We had a great experience with the owner and we were well prepared.

My husband, kids and I had an amazing stay at this property and we will definitely be back. The house is exactly as described/pictured - it's both spacious and cozy with 6 clean, well-decorated bedrooms with comfortable beds and good quality linens/comforters, a comfy living room (perfect for movies and board games), and a great kitchen that had every utensil and appliance we needed. The location is awesome - a short walk from town (great shops, restaurants and skating) and only a 20 minute drive to the mountain. Josh, the host was extremely responsive - from my initial questions before booking, to the couple of questions we had while at the house, it was very easy to get in touch with him. Also, there was a big snowstorm while we were there, and he made sure to send a maintenance man to the house to shovel the driveway and walkway. Our stay could not have been any better - I highly recommend this property!!

Good layout with shared bathrooms. Roomy living room. Good beds. Dishwasher needs to be updated it will not dry the dishes. Smart TV in living room. We would rent again. The kitchen what we needed made full dinners each night.

Fantastic location for so many activities, easy drive to the ski mountain. House layout was great for a large family. Easy to get kids to bed and adults hang out at night without disturbing sleeping kids.

Everything was as advertised. Great location with easy walking to Olympic Center and downtown. Property manager very available and helpful. Well equipped kitchen as we were cooking for a large group. Our team had a blast!!

I found this property a while ago and I reserved it to help us to follow protocols for COVID. It worked out perfectly for us even though we didn’t need to worry quite so much when the weekend came. Much of our activity was at the waterfront of Mirror Lake and that was an easy walk from this rental. Having 5 off street parking spaces was a real plus. The bedrooms were lovely and everyone mentioned that the.beds were very comfortable. Best part was the front porch. We spent a fair amount of time there. All in all, a very nice rental experience.

We needed a large place to accommodate family with easy access to amenities for a wide range of ages. The location worked nicely. The youngest loved the quick access to the beach at the lake. The oldest enjoyed tooling around Main Street. We all enjoyed hikes around the peaks. In between all the outdoors fun, the house was big enough to accommodate everyone for meals and down time. Our group was big enough that, overnight, we spilled into one of the lodges at High Peaks Cyclery, just a few steps away. Josh helped us get in touch with the owners there, and the proximity between the two places couldn't have worked much better. Josh was extremely helpful as we were trying to find something that could accommodate the group, and with a lot of general guidance. The house had everything we needed and more, was clean and comfortable and, to my wife's discerning eye, was even nicer in reality than in the photos. All around, a great experience with Josh and his house.

The home was very comfortable for my large group. The location is superb and the house meets all basic needs. The owner is helpful and communacative.

Overall, our stay was very good. The only area we were disappointed in was the front lawn. Although it was a small area, we were able to still play cornhole. The photo of the front lawn needs to be updated. Other than that, the house was cozy and we all had a great time!

The house was perfect for our group. Lots of bedrooms, a nice kitchen and a great location for hiking the peaks. We were very happy with our stay.

House was very nice, exactly as listed. Actually I thought it looked nicer in person then in the pictures. We had 2 families staying for the weekend, so 6 bedrooms was perfect. We also cooked both nights and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Note that the kitchen table had a leaf that was in the closet - we added it, so that came in handy with a larger group. You could walk to town and about 15 minutes to WhiteFace for skiing. I had a few questions prior to my arrival and they were answered immediately and very helpful property owner.

So close to everything! House is warm and the coldest winter day. Owner very responsive and we had a great time in Lake Placid. Felt very safe during Covid times. Ice skating in rink and on the lake. Thanks.

The house is located in close proximity to local restaurants and the tourists shops. It is well kept and cozy. The house also could very well accommodate numerous visitors with its six bedrooms. Josh, the host, was very communicative throughout the process of our stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Lake Placid area.

This home has a great location walking distance to everything especially the brew pub! Absolutely love that there are so many bedrooms and we were able to have a good group together!
