We had a great stay. We waled around the city and saw the sites. We wanted to go to a cenote on our last day and Beto was more than happy to assist in getting one together for us. All in all a memorable trip for us in this area of Mexico. I will not think twice about booking with this host again. Everything was professional and welcoming. Thank you for everything.

This was one of the best stays – and I’ve stayed in many VRBOs from Colorado, Florida, and Sedona. The house was very clean and kept up. The pool was a great amenity to beat the heat, especially for my children (11yo & 8yo). They provided with plenty of towels. The customer service was fantastic. Our concierge, Beto, was the best. He was attentive and extremely friendly. The rental is a short 10-15 min walk to the very busy Santa Lucia plaza where restaurants and noise are plentiful. There is a paleteria (ice cream shop) 1-2 blocks away – one of my children favorite stops. Overall, we loved our 18 days stay at Casa Panda.

Of the 4 vacation rentals we stayed at in the Yucatan, this was our favorite. It has a great location, wonderful style, great concierge, and a nice pool for cooling off. Casa Panda fit our family of 4 very well. You can walk everywhere and if you have a car, you can safely park outside. Thanks for an amazing rental.

We had an amazing 3 night stay here! There are way too many great things to say about the house, but here are some highlights: - We loved the indoor-outdoor layout - The pool was incredibly refreshing and enjoyable - The rooms were all very spacious, clean and comfortable - The wifi and AC worked really well throughout the house - The outdoor look and feel of the master bathroom was a treat! - The location of the house was great - we were able to walk everywhere - The host was very accommodating, responsive and kind - Really wish we could have stayed longer, so we'll definitely be back!

My family and I stayed at Casa Panda for 8 nights and we enjoyed the house and location. My favorite part was waking early in the morning and going to the mercado for eggs, tortillas, fruit and fresh juice. The kids loved the pool and the comfortable bedrooms. Mike was very responsive and we enjoyed talking to him. The location is convenient to the centro and other neighborhoods. Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Panda. The house is spacious and the pool is fantastic, especially since it got over 100 degrees the week we stayed. The house is centrally located and in a very safe neighborhood, we found ourselves walking to shops, restaurants and the historic parks. The home is well appointed with everything you need. Check-in was a breeze, Beto was waiting for us with our information and keys. Check out was even was even easier. I highly recommend this house and can not wait to return!

Our family had a wonderful stay in Casa Panda. I especially liked the indoor/outdoor atmosphere that makes colonial homes special. The kids and I swam every day in the pool, which was perfect for the hot afternoons. Most of all, the service was exceptional. We had a few questions throughout our stay, and each was answered within 10 minutes by text or phone. The concierge even went the extra mile to help my friend, at another place, find a driver. There were a few mosquitoes, making it so that we shut our bedroom doors at night and used AC, rather than leaving them open to the courtyard. But the owners had carefully set out mosquito repellent spray and devices, in case we needed them.

Spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, extremely clean. Management is the best. We had a small problem with the shower which was remedied immediately. The concierge went out of his way to be of assistance. The in-house dinner arranged through them was fabulous. Can't say enough about the services of this company. The location was great also.

Casa Panda was an amazing property, modern without losing its original charm. Loved everything about the look of the house, the indoor garden space was such a surprise. Was so busy didn’t get to enjoy the pool very much, it was such a relaxing space. Becca was so helpful with everything before and after the trip. Beto was always available for any questions that arose, he was just a text messsge away. Loved Casa Panda and the Merida area, hope to make it back soon.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Panda with a family of four (two teenagers). The accommodations were clean, comfortable and stylish. The pool was utilized often and was a luxury to cool off any time of day. Responses and assistance from the hosts were always prompt and professional. Location was ideal to enjoy the local neighborhood and within walking distance (less than 1-km) to the Centro area. This is a excellent rental and well-run. We look forward to a return trip in the near future and would without hesitation return to Casa Panda. Thanks Beto, Mike, and Becca !!!

This stay exceeded our expectations. The location was great. Just 2 blocks from Santa Ana and about 1/2 a mile from the Centro. We walked everywhere. Beto was a huge help. He went above and beyond. We were having a lot of issues with mosquitos and Beto arranged to have the house sprayed. It helped a lot. He also brought us more water several times as we were going through the water quite quickly. It was VERY nice to have water available. This was a big plus, especially traveling with a family. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was very nice. For families traveling you should know that 2 of the 3 bedrooms open directly into the pool area. Unfortunately, one of these bedrooms would have been a perfect kids room as it had 2 beds. But because of the doors opening to the pool we had to rearrange ourselves. It wasn't a big deal but if you are traveling with young children it is worth knowing. Also, there isn't a common space that has AC. It was very hot and it would have bene nice to have a common room to gather in with AC. There are fans but in the heat of the day it doesn't cut it. Aside from these 2 minor things we were extremely happy with everything. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

We travel a lot. With toddlers. And this place was pretty close to perfect, in my opinion. It was sensitively remodeled and furnished, to be absolutely beautiful but also practical... and not so precious that we were constantly chatting or two toddlers to prevent them from destroying things. The pool can be fairly effectively closed off from the rest of the house except for the master bedroom. The owners were prompt in replying and veey accommodating, and the manager Beto is really above and beyond - not only keeping everything running smoothly but setting up maasages and an all day taxi rental... with a van for all 7 of us... and car seats for the toddlers. The location is good - close to excellent food, easy walk to the Zocalo. But not too frantic in a big city. For instance, one night, a neighbor had thrown their front door open and was playing a baby grand piano in the front room all evening,with the sound tinkling over into our courtyard. All in all, absolutely lovely, and warmly recommended, especially for families with toddlers who want to be able to relax but also stay in a place they would love otherwise.

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at Casa Panda, from Burro y Flauta Vacation Rentals, last week for 10 days. We were delighted that the property was even better than expected. The Santa Anna location was very central and even though we had a car, we left it parked in front of the house most of the time and walked everywhere. Casa Panda's accommodations are stylish, comfortable and clean. The towels are large and fluffy, and smell good. The master bed is huge, and very comfortable. The sheets are really very good. The kitchen is well-equipped. The air conditioning, fans, and Wi-Fi all work really well. The washer/dryer took us a bit of getting used to but we were really happy to be able to do our laundry at the house. One of the nice things about Casa Panda is that basic products are initially supplied and refreshed. Basic products like coffee, shampoo, toilet paper, drinking water, laundry detergent--we did not need to worry about them at all. There were one or two times when we ran out of things and all we had to do was send a text to the concierge and within hours we had what we needed. I thought that the level of service was good as any hotel we’ve stayed in. And it is infinitely nicer to have all the space of a 3 bedroom house then to be limited to one small hotel room. When we first booked the property we anticipated that we would be alone, but some friends joined us at the last moment. We were really pleased that there was no extra charge for them, since there were enough bedrooms to accommodate them. And they loved the house as well. But for us, the best thing about Casa Panda is the family that rents it. From my initial emails with Becca, who handles the Internet side of the Burro y Flauta Vacation Rentals, to meeting her mother and father who now live in Merida and run the business, I cannot say enough good things about how much richer our stay was for our interactions with them. They were helpful, interesting and engaging. We consider them to be friends. My husband and I plan to return to Merida in the future and we would not think of renting anywhere other than Casa Panda, or another Burro y Flauta property.

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Casa Panda. Mike and Becca run a first rate rental business at Burro y Flauta and do an excellent job of providing everything you need. It's the little things and details that put this rental at the top. They are quick to respond to emails or texts if you have any questions and as locals they have great information on the area, where to eat, etc. Casa Panda is modern while still retaining some of the unique characteristics of this home. It has nice outdoor spaces and is relatively quite considering it's location in the busy city. It is a prime location for walking to the areas attractions, parks, museums, etc. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

I enjoyed every single detail throughout the house. Every room was design beautifully!!! The arquitectural work in the house was amazing, smart and modern, without taking away its original charm and beauty. Becca and her parents did a beautiful job restoring this house.
