The property was everything we expected plus more! Very clean and check in process was super simple. The house has everything you could think of needing, minus food and clothes of course. Plenty of toilet paper, lots of towels, clean water to drink, beach/water activity items enough for an entire family. Location was excellent, just a short drive from the airport. Private beach. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Could not have asked for more! Host was very friendly and great at communicating. Highly recommend this property.

Never saw the caretaker/manager.

The property owner sweats the small things that we generally take for granted, but it speaks volumes about the many features and the quality of this villa. I could not think of anything that was missed, from the outside beach shower, to the selection of water-sports equipment. Exuma is a small piece of heaven if you explore the many crooks snd crannies, but if you just want to chill and stay, then this hits the spot. We will be back…

We made a family trip to Exuma in 2022. When we got home, we immediately started planning a trip for June of this year; another great trip! I found our rental,Take it Ease Sea, in our budget and in a great location. The house was close to town, restaurants, grocery stores, a meat market and a beverage store. The house was amazing! Very clean and updated. We had plenty of room for 8 adults. The back yard was heavenly; filled with thick, luscious grass and white sand; places for sunning and shaded areas. We had plenty of water toys and snorkeling equipment to enjoy. We ate our meals on the covered veranda and lounged out there also. The water is beyond description and is steps away from the back door. We saw very few people on the beach and felt like we had Exuma to ourselves. It is an amazing house in an amazing place. Jen was very easy to communicate with and flexible with dates and check out times. Just a great stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

The property was beautiful and clean and well furnished. It was in a good location on the island and we were the only ones we ever saw on the beach there at the house. I really don't have anything negative to say about the house at all. I would highly recommend it if you are going to Exuma.

Four friends & I rented this beautiful property. The house was beautiful, clean and the owner was super responsive. The beds were extremely comfortable, loved the outside shower and we made use of the nice, newer grill a couple of nights. When we discovered 2 of the beach chairs were broken, the owner arranged to have 2 new ones delivered the same day! This property truly exceeded all of our expectations in every way! Great size, amenities and location of this house. The owner was very responsive to questions asked during and after booking. I didn’t rent a car but the location made it easy to get around Great Exuma via taxi. The one issue with check in is that the door lock code doesn’t become active until check in time, but I didn’t have any internet service at the property (until I could connect to the house WiFi) to pick up the code so we were locked out. Fortunately I had the caretaker’s number in my phone, called and she had the code. So be prepared that that could happen if you’re getting there right at check in. That was the only hiccup in a great stay during a great Exuma vacation. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect getaway! The home matches the listing exactly which is what we wanted for our children and grandchildren’s week stay. We made use of everything the home had to offer from the comfortable furnishings inside and outside to all of the water toys for enjoying the beautiful turquoise water right in front of the house. Jennifer’s communication was impeccable. She went above and beyond to be sure our stay was perfect!

Our stay at this Take it Ease Sea House was absolutely amazing! The property exceeded all of our expectations and provided us with a truly unforgettable vacation experience. The house itself was stunning, with beautiful decor that truly captured the essence of island living. We felt like we were in a luxurious paradise as soon as we walked through the door. The living spaces were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group to spread out and relax. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and entertain, and the outdoor grill was a fantastic touch that allowed us to cook up some delicious meals while enjoying the beautiful weather. The outdoor spaces were the real highlight of the property, though. The expansive deck and sandy beach area was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the ocean and plenty of space to lounge and soak up the sun. The beach was just a short walk away, and we loved being able to spend our days swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear water. The property was also perfectly located for exploring the island. We were just a short drive away from some of the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in Exuma, and we loved being able to experience everything the island had to offer. Overall, we had an incredible time in the Bahamas, and we can't wait to come back again soon. The property was everything we could have asked for and more, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly luxuri

It was the first time we visited Exuma, and we really enjoyed our stay. The great thing about this place was the beach within a few steps into the backyard. It was extremely private, and the house came with a bunch of toys such as paddle boards, games, kayaks, and beach shoes. We really enjoyed our stay, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Exuma!

You could not ask a better place to stay. The view was magnificent. Swimming on the beach out front was great. Family and grandchildren had the best time. From getting property to check in to stay and to check out was as easy as possible. I would recommend the house to everyone.

We love being close to town & centralized in the island when we stay & this house was none other than that! Beautiful spacious home, great amenities, great communication. We did not get to enjoy the beach at the house while we were there due to the tide, but the views were perfect. Cannot wait to come back!

Perfect location! Loved the snorkel spot right off the property, close to Fish Fry and Georgetown. The people of Exuma are extremely welcoming! We will never forget Sharon at Shirley’s or Alison at Exuma Boat Rentals!

We loved the property! The view was unmatched, the house was perfect, and the add-ons (snorkeling gear, etc.) were a nice touch. We only worry that if we give too good a review, the house won't be available for the rest of our family to book in the future!

Terrific property and a terrific location

Exuma was hands down the best vacation we've ever taken. Everyone in our group agreed. Our stay at Take It Ease Sea was incredible. The location cannot be beat, snorkeling right out your door, a lovely patio and "beach" yard for watching the sunrise and sunset, the beach gear available to use, and everything you could ever need to make yourself at home while away from home! Jennifer was basically our travel agent for this trip! She suggested the best activities and companies to use to make this an unforgettable trip. We WILL be back!

We just returned from a wonderful week on Exuma and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. This was our first time to Exuma so we naturally had many questions. Thankfully, Jennifer had all of the answers for us and was always very timely in her responses. Communication is so critical and she was excellent before and during our stay. I can't say enough positive things about the property and the host!

What an amazing vacation! We had 2 families - 4 adults, 5 teens, and the house was perfect. The location on the beach was fantastic - we used the kayaks, paddleboards and enjoyed snorkeling around the rock. Communication with Jen before our trip was great and she answered all our questions. Check in and out was easy. Exuma is a magical place and we will be back!

Close to restaurants and grocery stores, etc. Central location on Great Exuma made it easy to see/visit the north and south end (Little Exuma). Home had all the amenities you could ask for minus wash clothes. Make sure to bring your own. Very responsive owner and caretaker.

The house was nice and clean.. it was equipped with all your beach needs i.e paddle boards, kayaks, tubes etc... it was stocked with cleaning supplies and getting in touch with Jen was very easy.. we will definitely rent again

We had a great time on our second trip to Take it Easy! Everything was amazing! Can’t wait to go back! Our friends were blown away with how perfect the house , view, restaurants , and excursions were! Can’t say enough great things about this property! Worth every dime! Just don’t go to Exuma if you are looking to hang out for the night life , we weren’t so it was fine for us! If you can get to Exuma definitely get over to the Take it Easy house ! You won’t regret it!!

We absolutely loved staying at Take It Ease Sea! It was perfect for our family and two toddlers (2 and under). The toy shed had everything you could possibly need or want plus toys, life jackets and floats for the kids. The water was the prettiest water we have ever seen and we enjoyed snorkeling around the rock just off the beach. We will 100% be back and stay at Take it Ease Sea again! Thank you!!

This is our second time traveling with friends and family, staying at Take It Ease Sea. The home is clean, beautifully decorated, well-furnished, and the views from the front porch are serene and breathtaking. The location is close to local restaurants and boat rentals, and is an easy drive from the airport. We traveled with three couples and spent 12 days there this time, loving every minute. From early morning coffee and enjoying sunrise to late night drinks after adventure-filled days, the house is perfect. Thank you Jen, Keith, and caretaker Desereen.

This house was great and there were so many amenities like kayaks, snorkels, etc. The location was very convenient on the island. The beach was a little rockier than I thought but there were water shoes provided. If you have a group of kids I would bring your own water shoes. The house comfortably fit all 8 of us and was very clean. The caretaker was easy to contact for questions. We enjoyed eating dinner outside and looking at the amazing view!

My family of 6 had the trip of a lifetime at Jennifer Mitchell's Take it Ease beach house. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing it is. The only negative thing is that you will have to leave at the end of your trip. The house is beautiful - perfect for our family of 6. Perfect location, amazing view, personal beach, centrally located. Jennifer was extremely informative and helpful and the caretaker was so responsive and took care of our every need. You have to see it to believe it!

This was our first time to Exuma. We had our family of 6, plus our 7 month old grand daughter. Jennifer, the owner, was the absolute best at communication! She was quick in responding, kept us updated on all Covid protocols, sent us everything we needed to know about the island plus was patient, kind and friendly through all communication. The view from the house was spectacular and had everything we needed for our 5 day stay, including a pack and play and high chair for the baby. The house was decorated so nicely too! We rented a boat and were able to anchor it right outside of the house every day. There were paddle boards, and snorkeling gear we were able to use for our daily boat trips. I would definitely recommend hiring a chef (Jennifer sent us a list); what an amazing experience and so delicious!! We will definitely be renting at Take It Ease Sea house again!

Our first trip to Exuma and we had a great time. The house was well equipped and accommodated 6 adults. Since 4 adults had to share one bathroom the outdoor shower came in handy. The week we were there was really windy and the surf was ruff so we weren't able to take advantage of snorkeling and kayaking outside their back door. Its a beautiful setting on a beautiful island. Thanks to the owners for sharing their home with us.
