We came up for my son’s best friend graduating from boot camp. This location is close to everything and the view at night is amazing. Everything you need is here. It’s not the most updated place which i actually enjoy because it isn’t a constant anxiety ridden feeling of keeping everything untouched. The double open slider is so awesome and great to have lunch on the porch and enjoy the view. Recommend for families for sure. Would stay here again.

The place was comfortable for our family and babies. The double garage really only fits compact cars so we had parking problems. Besides parking it was quite comfortable.

Being just steps from the tranquil waters of the bay was idyllic. The view of the water let you take it in from inside, too. This is a quiet neighborhood with just a few locals walking by; the passersby are actually entertaining. It would have been nice if there were tiny bars of soap and sugar packets, but aside from that great!

We found the property as described and pictured in the listing. Mostly a bit upscale to properties we previously have rented at the beach. Views and ambience were wonderful and peaceful. Our big issues were the lack of seating in the living room , other than a big ,not very comfortable sofa and no chairs. There was limited space and room for only 2 chairs on the patio and lack of after dark outdoor lighting made eating uncomfortable. Also the cable network (Spectrum) was not accessible so TV watching was very limited (no network channels ) so no WEEKEND sports watching at all. Garage parking made coming and going easy.

Place was so very nice. We loved being on the bay! Fourth of July fireworks were the best we had ever seen. Want to go next year!

Amazing , beautiful property that made us feel right at home. Grandkids had a blast, never a dull moment . We will definitely be back!!!

We stayed here for a family vacation with my daughter and her family. We picked this home because it sits on the beach so the grandkids could play in the sand. It was close to Sea World and not much else. We could not walk to restaurants or other area attractions. The home needs some updating. The master bedroom mattress was like sleeping on the floor, by the end of the week my husband and I were both having back issues. The home is well equipped with beach toys and chairs which the grandkids enjoyed and was a nice surprise. We had an issue with the garbage disposal and the management company was quick to respond and have repaired. There appears to be water stains in one of the guest bedrooms on the ceiling and the carpet could use a good cleaning. We did not let the girls play on the floors in the bedrooms. We had a great time on the beach and playing in the sand, just felt that for as much money as we paid per night that it would have been in better shape.

The location is amazing and sooooo quiet. We sat on the amazing patio every morning and watched the sunrise. Walkable to lots of fun areas on Mission Beach and places to eat. Cut little mini mart to grab groceries very close and they were sooooo nice. Just know that you will get a separate contract from the property manager once you request your booking.

We loved staying at this property because of the location. It’s in the bayside, so in cooler weather it was warmer here than the Pacific side, due to less wind coming off the ocean. Plus, it’s only a 5 minute walk to the Pacific side if you want to play in the waves. There are two parks for kids within walking distance. Plus, Belmont Park, Plunge, and plenty of restaurants. The house was great for sharing with another family. Spacious, plenty of dishes and towels, and places to gather and enjoy company. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great property for a little quieter experience but still on the beach and water. And an easy walk to parks and the ocean beach. We stayed with our young adult children and their significant others. Everyone had something to do! I do wish the photos were a little more realistic about the size of the property, beach and bay.

Although we had unprecedented on/off rain during our stay, the house, bay front, and beach area were excellent. Ocean and beach volleyball just 2 blocks away. Kitchen had all of the necessary tools for home cooking. Linens were fresh and towels plentiful. We look forward to our next stay!

We loved our stay. Well stocked home on beautiful harbor. Close to beach. Floor to ceiling windows to look out at the sailboats docked in the bay. Serenity at its best. Five stars.

We enjoyed our stay on Mission Beach. The location was perfect. Stores, restaurants and site seeing was very close. We loved the walkway right outside the door. The bay is great if you want it quieter and a short walk if you want the hustle and bustle of the ocean. The only thing that wasn’t enjoyable was the plane noise. Thank goodness it stops around 11 pm. This condo is right under the plane traffic. Loved watching the fireworks from across the bay.

Perfect spot and home. There were 5 adults that came and went from different locations across the US. There was parking at the end of boardwalk for our extra cars. We could walk to many locations the ocean , Belmont Park and a few restaurants. Spacious home , we were all over 50 -86.

Stayed for a week with my wife, two daughters (4 & 1), and my parents. What a wonderful spot. The bay is at your doorstep, so the views are amazing, and it was easy to keep an eye on our 4yo while she played in the sand and splashed in the water all day. It was also very quiet compared to the beach side of South Mission. That said, it’s a very short walk if you want to go to the actual beach. The house was very clean, with all of the, amenities you’d expect, plus a high chair, two pack-and-plays, and an actual crib. The master bath has a huge bathtub, which made washing the kiddoes easy. Flatscreens in every room and a nice built-in BBQ. All in all, it’s hard to imagine a better spot if you’ve got young kids.

We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room for the whole family. Only bad experience was that while we headed the warning to keep the doors locked and garage door closed at all times on the last day we let our guard down and while moving our baggage to the garage one of our bags was stolen right out of the garage. When we got home we got a call from a neighbor that he found our bad dumped in his yard.

We really enjoyed staying here. It is right on the bay, which unlike the beach is very quiet and calm both in terms of water and people. Our kids loved playing in the sand right outside the door, and it was just very pleasant. Not a lot of carpet, (which makes sense with all the sand) which makes it kind of noisy, but not unbearable. We didn't love the big white couch downstairs as it was uncomfortable, but none of this matters compared to how great of a place it is to stay. Direct access to sand, water, and the bay walk. A short walk away you can get several food options, and there is almost no vehicle traffic and only a few runners/walkers throughout the day that go buy and they were never intrusive or problematic. We did have the power go out one evening while we were cooking dinner, (nothing to do with the property itself). The owner responded quickly and kept us updated. The cooktop is gas so we were still able to cook our dinner. And there were flashlights available in the house. Really just made the stay more memorable than inconvenient. Everything was nicely stocked. Plenty of towels and bedding for the week we were there. The garage has a lot of sand toys. Speaking of the garage, we were able to fit a Honda Odyssey in it, with a Chevy Trailblazer next to it after moving everything in the garage to one side as the trailblazer was much shorter, but it was very snug and we had to block a people door and back one of them in so that only one side of each vehicle had working doors. It was worth having both vehicles in the garage, though it seems some street parking was available not too far away. Anything longer than a mini van is not going to fit in this garage. For those considering this VRBO, I would very very highly recommend it unless you are considering a week we might want to come again, in which case please consider other options.

This was the perfect location for a family vacation! The property was awesome and the communication regarding details was without any issues. Highly recommend this beautiful location!
