This is the best and the most spacious property I have rented, to date. The bedrooms are spacious and have great lighting. The views are amazing too. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances to have a home-cooked meal for every meal. The property is conveniently located near everything, to include shopping and fun activities. The property owners are very detailed in their expectations, directions, helpful instructions and everything is provided for a well welcoming stay.

It was everything I imagined it would be, It was a home felt environment and when I visit Springs again I hope it’s available because that’ll be my first choice.

The house is warm and inviting. Fully stocked kitchen with lots of extras supplied, games, books, DVDs, snacks, condiments and any toiletries you may have forgotten. Comfortable beds and lovely linens. This house will not disappoint!

Theirs property was immaculate and was filled with thoughtful touches. The hosts left special treats from the area to enjoy upon our arrival. The location was within 20 minutes of the airport, the Garden of the Gods and Academy Riding Stables and 30 minutes to Manitou Springs. The living spaces provided ample comfortable seating, the kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms had comfortable beds. If you have a family vacation, this property should be at the top of your list!

John and Wendy are excellent hosts. Their home is beautiful and spacious and has everything that you would ever need! The location was central to the wedding we attended at Creekside Event Center as well as the sightseeing we wanted to do. There are beautiful views of Pikes Peak from the bedroom windows upstairs. You won’t be disappointed with this house.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious rental! Wendy and John are the ultimate hosts! They have anticipated every need and desire: *great location in a quiet,established neighborhood. *lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. *quality furniture, beds, and linens. *plenty of entertainment- TVs, DVDs, and LOTS of games. *fully stocked kitchen with every available amenity. *generously stocked pantry and bathroom basics. Wendy and John have thought of EVERYTHING!

This house was absolutely stunning with beautiful modern architecture and all the amenities I could ever ask for. The host truly went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of my rental experience was perfect, from all kinds of coffees and cookies, chips, and snacks at the house, not to mention all brochures printed out for travelers. Everything you could have asked for to stay comfortable and convenient is there for you. I highly recommend Wendy & John to anyone in search of a luxurious and hassle-free living environment. The host has given us a 5-star experience to stay at the house.

Beautiful house. It has everything that we need and more. We are a group of friends that travels together (5 couples) who loves to cook. The kitchen has everything that we need from condiments to pots and pans. All the bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. To rank all the vrbo properties that we have rented before so far Wendy and John is our number1.

Well cared for home. Clean and well stocked with everything you need. Check-in and check-out process couldn't have been smoother. Neighborhood is clean, quiet and safe. Highly recommend.

The home was perfect for our family vacation. We had three families with five kids ages 5 and under. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots of games for the kids to enjoy. The home was beautiful and was great to be able to have family meals together without needing to always eat out. Location was perfect. Less than an hour to get to most of the destinations and lots of parks and splash parks for the kids.

The house is BEAUTIFUL and John & Wendy are AMAZING Host!!! All the sites and attractions were close. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much John & Wendy!

Wow, can I just say that this rental had everything to do with our very enjoyable and relaxing vacation to Colorado Springs?! I have never been as impressed with a home on vacay as this one, stocked in every way, so clean, comfortable, and just beyond. Our family of 9 all were all with us, from our 3 year old up to a 21 year old… every single one of our kids enjoyed themselves with the board games, toys, lawn games, movies, TV and the spacious rooms! Every day we hiked or explored the area (all within 30ish mins) and then came back to unwind and relax! Thank you so much John and Wendy for putting so much love into what you provide for others to enjoy, this house was our favorite!

Our daughter needed to take our youngest and disabled grandchild to Childrens Hospital in Aurora so we decided to join her and bring along the other 3 grandkids. Drivinf from omaha with a car ful, 4 kids and 3 adukts... whst a delight to arrive at the most well suited for "ALL"!!! Although we all ended up playing Colorado-Opoly he most, we certainly had a plethora of other games,puzzles, inside and outside toys and even Childrens books and magazines! If you have a baby or toddler, John and Wendyy have most everything you would need for them,as well. Being a dental hygienist for over 50 years, cleanliness is always an issue when renting a VRBO.... but this house was sanitized from top to bottom and i felt totally comfortable in every room. We were on tge go the 6 days we stayed in the area: Focus On The Family, Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Garden of the gods, Flying W Ranch, Tea at the Glen Eyrie Castle and Chyenne Mountain Zoo....it was a bit exhusting for we grandpants...but having a beautiful and comfortable "Home base" made all the difference!!!We will alway want to stay here when we come back!!! This property was clean, stocked with everything you might possibly need or desire and located perfectly for food & entertainment. We will definitely be recommending this property to family & friends vacationing in the Colorado Springs area. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more.

We stayed for our son’s graduation from USAFA. The location was very convenient and the neighborhood is very nice. The hosts are very communicative and helpful. We appreciated the little things they did to make our visit feel like home.

This home was such a life saver, coming back for our daughters high school graduation. The home was homey and large we were able to make food versus going out and everybody was together!! The home was clean, stocked with games and so many helpful extras, I loved it!

Extremely nice. Very clean. Has all the amenities you could ask for. Nice safe neighborhood. The owners are close by and responded immediately when we had a problem with the ice maker in the refrigerator. We will definitely be booking again in the Fall.

We rented this house for our spring break trip with our kids and grandkids. Everything was perfect!! The accommodations were bright and clean. The beds and pillows were all so comfortable. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry had everything we needed and then some. The kids loved the snacks that were left for us, games and toys. Furniture was also comfortable in the family room. We even had Netflix for family movie night. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but close to everything we needed. We have rented from VRBO numerous times and this was by far our best experience. The owners, Wendy and John, were so friendly and responsive. We cannot wait for our next trip to Colorado Springs so we can rent this house again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tenderfoot it was centrally located near all our wedding venues. The house was fully equipped with everything you would need for all ages. Very clean and spacious.

Travel from Georgia to spend some time with our two sons and family living in Colorado and primarily to take 3 yr old grandson on Royal Gorge Santa Express, we had so much fun! We travel a lot and I can not rave enough about this property. The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. We were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving spread. We will most definitely be staying at this property again. Great location, great host, just an all around great experience. 10 out of 10.

Usually when i rent a VRBO we run to the store multiple times for supplies. This home was so well stocked I literally felt like I was at home. Wendy and John think of everything. We felt welcomed from the minute we stepped through the door. There were snacks and cookies out for us when we arrived. Candy was in jars throughout the house for us to enjoy. The house was clean, the couches and all the beds were very comfortable. Every possible amenity you could possibly think of was provided. . USAFA families, my son and daughter- in-law are USAFA graduates. I really wish I found this home earlier when I was coming out to C-Springs for parents weekend or graduation. I highly reccommed this home to the USAFA families out there. This home is very close to the base and all the activities at USAFA. Also very close to The Garden of the Gods and all the great attractions in the area. I highly recommend this home. Well priced rental, I will definately book again if I am in the area.
