Casa Zi is our go to get-away spot in Mexico. We've stayed there several times in different units. Although my husband and I often traveling alone, we have tented the 3rd (Casa Zi #3) floor unit twice. It's much bigger than we need, but it is so comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. We are active and walk everywhere and it's in a convenient location above La Ropa and about a 20 minute walk to town. If we were in a hurry, we grabbed a cab. If we needed anything, there is management on site during the day and just a phone call after hours. However, we only needed it once when the ice machine was not working; it was a quick fix. Besides the pool, my husband's favorite was the the large bedroom with a connected deck. He loved to use the space to meditate. We do cook on vacation, and everything we needed they had in their well stocked kitchen. For an extra special treat we had a masseuse come to our casa. She was so amazing that she we had her come back. Of course we'll return. About the town; we've been traveling on a regular basis to Zihuat for over 20 years and since 2018, we've noticed a huge improvement throughout. The beaches were much cleaner, there were more clean public bathrooms and a noticeable restoration to several different districts throughout the city. We traveled during covid and they seemed to take it more seriously than the US. We also feel safer there than we do with the crime in our State and around the US,

My wife and I visited with another couple. The layout lends itself perfectly for two couples to have private space in their respective rooms/bathrooms and enjoy all the other amenities together in the shared spaces. The owners have created an awesome experience - the housekeeper, concierge, and the private chef/cook the owners suggested were all AMAZING and exceeded our expectations. The unit had everything we could have wished for and it was very convenient to wash some of our laundry while there. Filiberto, the concierge, was able to coordinate several dinners and events for our group - he made everything so easy. We spent most with a nightcap the unit's private patio overlooking all of the bay and the lights - we can't wait to do it again. And when we visited the great infinity pool, we usually had it all to ourselves! Thank you, Jon & Deborah!

This Casa Z condo is excellent - great location, outstanding view, beautifully furnished with everything you could need, wonderful pool and very helpful local staff - we had a terrific week in Zihua. The property owners were great and answered all of our questions. Their local information book is the best we’ve seen anywhere. We will definitely return!

My husband, mom and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Z Unit 3 for a month in November. We could not have asked for a better place to enjoy while on our holiday. The unit itself is large and well set up for two couples, or a parent. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed in when renting longer term accommodation...and the decor is so tasteful. We absolutely loved preparing our meals and looking out at the incredible view. Both Noe and Casilda do an amazing job at keeping the unit, the grounds and the pool clean and beautiful. The location is great, a quick walk down to La Ropa and a quick cab ride or Combi ride to Zihua Centro. As we are big walkers, we walked to Zihua Centro and often back but it was nice to have the option of getting a cab right up to the door and then take the elevator with our groceries to our Unit. We will definately return to Casa Z! It is an amazing place.

This property is personalized by the owners. Nothing that a person needs on vacation is missing. The book of information looks professional done, and all recommendations we used, were very good. The restaurants Tentaciones, Espuma, Amuleto and La Casa Que Canta were exceptional. The breakfast place down town is a must, can't remember the name. If you like fishing The Elva 3, recommended is the best we have had in Mexico. I believe skipper was Edgar, mate was Christopher. The location is perfect, from the view to closeness to activities. We enjoyed the hummingbird activity at the 2 feeders on the balcony, just like at home. The staff was great, cleaning and grounds people, very personal and attentive. The management contact was great and always available when we called. We always rent a car so used a taxi only a few times when we were spilt up on activities. When we did it was a good experience. We will plan to visit again and will again rent this property if available. This property was more money than where we usually stay, but well worth the difference.

We just returned from a week at Jon and Deborah's Casa Zih 3 condo, and couldn't be happier with our stay! Zihuatanejo is a fabulous place to visit. Beautiful bay and beaches, wonderful restaurants, friendly locals, and a vibrant community. The condo is absolutely amazing. The pics are accurate, but still are unable to capture the true beauty of the place and of the accommodations. Loved the views, the open and airy floor plan, the fine art and furnishings, the comfy bed, the pool/grounds, and the marvelously stocked kitchen. Jon and Deborah were a delight. They even purchased a small gas grill ahead of our stay because I had mentioned I was looking forward to grilling some fresh fish....so thoughtful! They truly want their guests to fully enjoy their place and Zihuatanejo, and we did! Additionally, the local team of property caretakers/manager we're exceptional and extremely welcoming. I cannot recommend more highly, we will be back!

Beautiful two bedroom, three bath condo, decorated very nice. The Manager Filberto took care of all of our needs, the grounds keeper Noe took care of the grounds and helped us with the groceries. I would highly recommend this property, the pool was wonderful, what a view from the pool. Very quiet place.

The second you walk in you will be blown away by the view and overall beauty of this condo. It is a beautiful spot, and perfect location. They have it set up so that you have an English speaking property manager as well as taxi driver. It couldn't have been more convenient. I would highly recommend this rental unit. This was our third time to Casa Zih and our first time to Villa Estrella (unit 3). We've been to Zihuat several times and this is by far one of our favorite places to stay. Casa Zih has six units and we usually stay in a smaller one, but this time it was booked. We looked at other places around the town, but we could not find anything we liked as much as Casa Zih. We decided to stay in Villa Estrella even though it was larger than we needed . We were not disappointed! Villa Estrella is beautifully decorated and designed so you can gather together or enjoy plenty of private space.The kitchen is modern and fully stocked with every kitchen tool you would ever need. We loved it some much we rarely ate out. My husband pointed out that I cooked more on our vacation than I do at home. The master bedroom is huge with an amazing balcony which was perfect for me when I needed to remote into my business to do a bit of work. The master bath has huge picture windows (still very private) so you can take in the incredible view as you shower or soak in the tub. There is a bonus room where my husband spent most of his time. He loved to sit on the comfy leather couch and read, or drink his morning coffee. One of the big draws for us is the horizon pool. We prefer the pool to the beach so we spent many hours there, mostly by ourselves and occasionally with other guests. Some we've met before because they love it as much as we do and return year after year. There is a bathroom and shower next to the pool which is very convenient. We feel extremely safe, especially since the entire unit is gated. If you like to walk, run or spend time at the beach this location is perfect. Playa Ropa Beach is just a short walk, and once there you can swim, kayak or eat at one of the many restaurants. Las Gatos is just a little farther hike, or you can take a boat. It's a great place to snorkel or just explore.Downtown Zihuat is a short walk, which we did daily, but you can also take a cab. Our condo, and the entire unit is extremely well maintained and very clean. Owners Deborah and Jon can hook you up with Andres, who offers some of the most wonderful excursions. We call him every time we're in town to set up a day excursion to one of the many surrounding beaches or towns.Thank you Deborah and Jon for sharing your home and making our vacation memorable.
