The pool was great, the pool staff were friendly as well. The reception staff weren’t so welcoming and weren’t available to check out at 8am on the leaving day.

Only provided 2 towels for a family of 4. Provided no forks as cutlery despite asking. Cleaned the room once over a 3 night stay.

I left there immediately after reaching there, just looking at the condition turns me off.

The only thing that was good about the stay were the maids and location. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. The grounds was well kept.

he beds were hard. Only two towels per room with no extras. No pool towels provided and the towels were in poor condition and needed to be replaced. Front desk staff was rude . It's not a beach front property.

Environment and location

Apartment was not what was expected it what shows on the websites. One of the rooms was not organized properly and I had to speak with a manager in order to have it changed. One of the rooms was without hot water. The wifi barely works.

From booking this facility, it was a disaster...I requested a slightly earlier check in to get ready for my sister's wedding that started at 3.30pm..this promptly denied with no attempt to support me as a guest. My son and I then had to change at another location and then rush to this hotel to check in. The check in process was lengthy for no reason, they do not accept debit cards for their security deposit. I had booked a double room with 2 queen beds and when I got to the room to leave my bags, it was a single room with 1 bed...I was offered no compensation for the difference. Upon check out on Sunday morning, there was a big crowd of guests in the lobby and no one at reception to check anyone out or in...the office was locked up . The facilities were old and unkept and the staff have no business being in customer service. I would not advise anyone to stay here.

property was clean and nice and close to areas to eat.

I wish there was a bit more lighting in the bedroom of the apartment (we only had a lamp, no ceiling light) and I wish there were more pillows since the pillows given to us were a bit flat. you could as for more but you had to pay for it.

Old and need upgrades for the price. No umbrellas at pool. no restaurant. Long walk to room plus 4th floor with no elevator. Too many owners, place need to shut down and refurbish before reopening.

The location as definitely a plus. The property was very nice and clean. Every staff member that I met was very nice

Everything is horrible and awful. First thing they put pictures on here that is definitely not the rooms these are pictures from maybe 7 yrs ago when the hotel was fresh. The rooms have very old, broken, damage furniture, they have no blankets in the bed, the floor was sticky and dirty , the bathroom full of build up dirt and grime. Old nasty looking bathroom, they give you hand rags that you can see through, the plug in outlets holes are loose your phones can never get charged because they fall out the socket, the beds are hard as concrete, noise is there from dust till dorn. There was a physical altercation upstairs with treats so loud and no security to come by. The parking is ridiculous, you could park and come out your block in . Please just avoid this hotel at all cost.

There was no breakfast available. Location was ideal overlooking the town of Ocho Rios. Didn't see much staffing around the place. The grounds was well kept, the pool was ok but the bar area needs maintenance was in a dilapidated condition.

Was told a food truck would show up in the mornings, never saw one... Reception area really need improvement, (some painting and the holes in the roof need to be repair even the chairs need to be replaced. Kevin the Receptionist told me that nothing was complimentary... (there was no soap in the bathroom) luckily I am used to travelling so I had my toiletries with me. Bed had no blankets, the small refrigerator in the room came in very handy.

the property wasnt too crowded and i enjoyed my entire stay , nearby locations i needed to visit were closeby which i loved. the staff was great too , friendly and funny . thank you mystic

The view/setting

I think the room space compared to the bathroom is a little small. I think the furniture can be upgraded to being a lil more modern and I suggest putting a king bed in certain rooms cause the bed is too small.

The pool and general ambiance was good. Staff were courteous and accommodating. The view of the town from the hill was breathtaking. The size of the room was pretty decent. Very relaxing and quiet environment. Love the vintage look of the property. The rooms are equipped with a kettle and other items to make a hot beverage.

The unconventional setup of the bathroom took some getting used to and can result in the whole bathroom getting wet. They need to hurry and get the kitchen and bar up and running as there was not much for entertainment. Thank goodness for the food truck that came with breakfast and other meal items. Limited cable channels. My booking was for 2 double beds for 2 nights but I only got 1 bed. However, they did attempt to make the necessary changes for the second night but by this time we were already settled in the room given.

no bar no food facilities only food truck, which was ok but definitely missing out by not having a restaurant facility on site, or evening entertainment
